Forum Post: STOP privatizing education, the military, prisons, public health, social assistance, pensions and everything that should not be run for profit

We know what comes of privatizing institutions that should not be run for profit. Wars, with their accompanying disaster, pain, and death should not be a means for profit because then wars will be encouraged by those who profit most; something that's tyrannical particularly if the profiteers control the levers of aggression. Privatized education is done towards quantitive rather than qualitative ends. Prisons paid to have prisoners will encourage having as many as possible for as cheap as can be with as little humane constraints as the society can tolerate. And so on, and so on...

These goals are possible, but we need a comprehensive strategy that implements all our demands, as strategically-weighted policy, at the same time, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategic Legal Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

agreed, we don't need anything privatized, thats giving more power to the corporate oligarchy. we need them OUT of government institutions. Mixing corporate powers with government powers is FASCISM.

I know you're trying to be helpful but can't you shorten your signature? It's a real pain in the ass to have to scroll past sometimes several times in a thread. Particularly on a mobile device. Maybe make one link point it to a separate post with all of your links.

Agree.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

these are the critical useful meaningful threads, in a forum which otherwise has no organization.

without such organization things continue to spiral into chaos and noise.

[-] 1 points by Frankie (733) 12 years ago

Well you're not helping much in that case because it's a poor way to do it. You're just adding more noise.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

i don't agree, and many people have thanked me for adding order. stop resisting and go click the links.

knock yourself out. I know I'm not the first and won't be the last to tell you the same. I tried to give you some constructive advice. If you put it all in a single post then, if people are actually using it, they'll rank it up and it will always float to the top.
