Forum Post: this forum needs structure

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

way to many posts made with zero comments - this looks like a venting board impossible to read - we need solutions not such a high focus on all problems - we know there are problems -don't make a complaint without offering your solutions. all systems need to be changed - offer your idea of a changed system -it's easy just need that focus

I'M UPSET THAT THERE IS NO ABILITY TO POST AN IMAGE, AND THAT THIS FORUM MOVES TO SLOW, AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO BE ANON WHEN EVERYONE'S A NAMEFAG.

WHY IS THIS NOT A CHAN?

Who made this forum anyway? There are so many free forum sites that we could easily make apart of this site.

We need two changes. One, the ability to vote on a thread as important or not. Highly popular / important threads get moved to their own section and retained as vital reading. Two, the threads need to move to the top when someone comments on them so that the post and forget threads all drop to the bottom and the active discussions stay at the top.

no need to reinvent the wheel, best to get some experience IT people involved to propose the best solutions available today on the web, as a starting point, then improve/refine from there based on continued trial and error and feedback. A lot of this was discussed on a website promoted by the WhiteHouse called OpenGov on transparency - http://expertnet.wikispaces.com/Getting+Started but is now it's closed !!! :-)))))) (well, no traffic, or, dead).
