Forum Post: Anyone notice the new trolling style today?

Posted 13 years ago on Oct. 11, 2011, 7:21 p.m. EST by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Yesterday and last night, it was "you're all lazy bums, get off my lawn, get a job, blah blah blah, clang clang clang..."

Now OWS is a radical anarchist socialist communist gay hating muslim sleepercell. The fun never ends with trolls for the machine, does it?

The trolls are a good thing from a certain point of view. It shows that the 1% fear us, and that will only make us stronger!

[-] 1 points by ChristopherABrown (550) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

That is true. The only problem is we spend all the time defending common sense, lawful proposals rather than discussing them, which is EXACTLY what they are trying to do. And, they are not really trolls, they are agents of the nwo. They pretend to be trolls.

Who here can get in contact with the site admin? I've tried the link at the top of the page, but apparently I have updated my corporate web page browser enough and do not get any place to go.

alex jones has called for infowars.com to "hijack the movement"

so expect a lot of trolling by brainwashed paranoid religous patriots.

The machine is exacty that, a machine and there is a domestic destabilization program going on for over ten years now, BIGTIME. All the posting and particularly how they all change at once shows us that the shadow gov is conducting "cognitive distortion", http://politics.salon.com/2010/01/15/sunstein_2/ I exposed an infiltrator that had been on the ground accused of the same thing, he's here on this board. Check it out. http://occupywallst.org/forum/legal-group-is-pushing-criminal-law-experts-out/ Refuses to be accountable in any way.

I wish I worked for a shadow government. That would be so bad

[-] 1 points by ChristopherABrown (550) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

Shadow posting works too. You can help the nwo and not even know it.

[-] 1 points by theman (44) 13 years ago

If they needed my help, they would have called my cell 1-985-655-2500

[-] 1 points by ChristopherABrown (550) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

Yea, but can they get you to lie, misrepresent, confuse, distract people so they cannot support and defend the constitution? But remember, they don't need to call and you don't need to know you are helping them.

[-] 1 points by theman (44) 13 years ago

call the number, its a funny joke

[-] 1 points by jph (2652) 13 years ago

They get a memo at the start of shift,. . most are not smart enough to improvise so you often get the verbatim talking points,. must suck being stuck in those little cubicles like so much veal being fattened for slaughter,. we should pity them really,. Hi paid trolls!

[-] 1 points by theman (44) 13 years ago

I wish there was a paycheck at the end of the day for trolling. Alas! most work for the lulz

See http://www.TheMultitude.org for a new, more organized OWS forum.

Register, post, and help get things rolling.

Let's start posting in a place where stuff won't be lost in chaos 5 minutes later -- and where trolls are actually banned.

[-] 1 points by PlasmaStorm (242) 13 years ago

So you're saying it's wrong to protest on a website if equazcion disagrees with what a "troll" says, but it's okay to camp out in New York for 6 weeks, with drums all night, and by the way people are urinating etc in public.

[-] 1 points by equazcion (688) from New York, NY 13 years ago

Opposition to the movement is welcome there as long as it isn't blatantly provocative.

Public space is fair ground for people to gather and voice their opinions. I wouldn't go into a Wall Street businessmen's club and start yelling, though.

[-] 1 points by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH 13 years ago

While I see the purpose, I don't think its necessary. The trolls will always appear and when they're banned they'll reappear. But regardless, I don't mind the rapid fire nature of this board.

I posted my thread yesterday afternoon, it survived through my own promotion and now, others are carrying on the same discussions in their own threads. Sure, they drop off the front page, but thats why I repost links like mad.

The numbers here are good and hearing what the trolls wish to claim is helpful in at least identifying the smears and "thinking" behind the opposition. Hostility is not helpful, but observation of it is invaluable.

[-] 1 points by equazcion (688) from New York, NY 13 years ago

All true, however when trying to use this place to actually organize ourselves and communicate constructively, marginally keeping a few posts alive seems like not enough. To each his own though.

[-] 1 points by WorkingClassAntiHero (352) from Manchester, NH 13 years ago

I suppose you have a point there. Are these enthusiasts or active participants in the movement?

[-] 1 points by equazcion (688) from New York, NY 13 years ago

If the site somehow doesn't appeal to you still, I'd be interested in hearing why. We're trying to attract people like you, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

[-] 1 points by equazcion (688) from New York, NY 13 years ago

It's meant for everyone, though the forum sections are divided into practical and theoretical discussions.
