Nov. 5: Move Your Money Out Day of Action

banks know the price of everything but value nothing

On November 5th, we invite everyone to come together and hold the banks accountable for their greedy display of democracy. They got billions in bailouts and get millions in tax subsidies and have done nothing to help the economy but make their shareholders and CEOs richer. They have foreclosed on millions of hard-working families and denied them refinancing on their loans. They have lost billions of the American people's money through risky gambling and illegal activities. We must stand up to them and say "NO MORE"!!

So on this day before the elections, we encourage everyone to move their money and move their debt from big banks into credit unions and local community banks. Since November of last year, over $100 million has been moved, and we hope to see another $100 million moved on this day.

Please share this event with all groups, organizations and occupy movements across the nation. Thanks!!

Lets go for a true Jubilee. Start today. Do not borrow money or use banks. Cash only! No debt. Do not buy or sell to anyone who works for the system. This way maybe they will think twice about what they are participating in. When enough people do this the system loses power and control over the masses. See who is behind the Slave system aka the beast system at 7/7 ripple effect video on youtube. Search nov. 5th Jubilee. see jahtruth . net for 12 laws that will set this planet back into a peace and prosperous world. Good luck in your search for good and truth! Long live the fighters!

Hey Canadians, Desjardins is the way to go! Co-op banking and no tax evasion. Unlike the big 5 banks who screw federal and provincial governments for over $80 billion a year in uncollected taxes with the help Barbados and Cayman tax havens.

I mention Desjardins because I live out East. But any move to a credit union will send a strong message.

Thanks for responding to my ACHIEVA Credit Union complaint posting this link! Kind of you to share and help :) http://www.hulu.com/watch/417228... Occupy San Francisco is doing some extraordinary things regarding starting and OCCUPY lending institution!

PS: Local banks not so great either. We are giving them business - what breaks to THEY give US? We need our own OCCUPY BANKING SYSTEM. Let's get some DIALOGUE started! Let's ask the CREDIT UNIONS and "community banks" WHAT'S GOIN' ON? They still not making enough off of us? Spotlight needs to be on THEM also. Would like to see them answer to this...

[-] 1 points by Suley02man (8) 1 year ago

Can we have DIALOGUE regarding CREDIT UNIONS? Been with mine - ACHIEVA - for almost 4 years, have paid more than 3/4 of my debt (credit card). They refuse to re-finance or reset terms to lower the interest - although I am "an A-Plus customer." Still paying 11.99%. How are they helping us? We need to think yet of other alternatives or call them out just like we're doing with big banks. Occupy(ies) nationwide have sent them lots of business. What have they DONE FOR US LATELY? Love you OCCUPY!

Absolutely!!!

People do you want to effect change?

Do you want to bring mega monsters back down to size?

Do you want to see an economic balance restored?

If yes is your answer.

Then all we need do - as individuals - is to stop letting the mega monsters feed off of "OUR" resources.

Invest in your local communities - local banks ( not mega monster subsidiaries ) and credit unions.

Move your personal resources to your community.

Don't like the practices of wallstreet?

Not a problem - move your investments ( 401K's etc ) out of investment gambling/stocks and place them into savings bonds.

Show wallstreet that you do not approve of them gambling and stealing and betting against their own clients. Take "YOUR" money away from them.

This is one of the easiest things each individual can do to show our displeasure to banksters and to our oblivious(?) government.

Stop feeding criminal enterprises that are devouring your resources/future.

Our voices may not be heard or might be ignored - but removing our money will not go unnoticed.

Be part of the change you want to see happen.

TAX THE 1%

Support our president Barack Obama and tax the rich at 75%.

It’s time to tax Bill Maher at 75%! It’s time to tax Arianna Huffington at 75%! It’s time to tax Angelina Jolie at 75%! It’s time to tax the rich like the Kardashians!

With the way things are going it is a comfort to have this forum. I was trying to find auto insurance in provo ut this summer, after moving to a new state. I enjoyed the lively discussions on best practices and am happy. Thanks!

I'd take any money I might have out of the stock market, and any other similar financial instruments too. (Actually, I already did a long time ago.)

If not to to take it out of the hands of the greedy on wall street, but to save your own financial ass in the next upcoming crash.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Right-ON all my money is in the local credit union where it goes towards supporting the local community - not some megamonsterinternationalgamblinghouse and their ceo's.

I think if Move Your Money day is going to happen again this year, there needs to be a line on DO NOT then get suckered into loans at the credit unions.

I was very impressed with this action last year, but horrified to find out that millions in loans were also processed from the new customers coming in.

Moving to a credit union, but then just aquiring more debt, isn't the greatest thing.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Agreed - the loans should only be taken out for necessary items that you can not pay out of pocket and spending should be kept to the essentials of life until we get this fucking disaster called the economy fixed/replaced. Fuck all luxury items until all are in a position to be able to "AFFORD" them.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

True. I am down to paying rent, power, cell, and food and if I want a luxury item I save up for it. All that debt does, credit cards espcially, is give a percentage of your money to thebanks so they can use it against your best interests. Hell, I just saw acredit card flyer talking about 15 to 25 percent interest rates. And how do they get away with such obscene rates. By a lack of regulation and the fact that people keep applying for them

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Exactly - starve the abusive system - do not feed it. Support local whenever you can - and pay out of pocket as you go. Let us reclaim our world people.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

Thanks. With all the political craziness going on it's easy to forgot there are things you can do in your everyday life that help make a difference.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Looking forward to Nov 7th - when people can get back to dealing with issues instead of campaigns for office.

We can then perhaps push campaigns for issues - like supporting local - to take down the monsters power - and campaigns for like Move to Amend as well.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

So am I. We will have 2 years to make sure our voice is heard in the next election. And if the corps/banks keep pushing like they have been it is entirely possible to get the critical mass needed to break their hold on our govt and economy.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

2 yrs to communicate and evaluate those in office and their receptivity ( Edit = & Action = receptivity and action on the peoples issues ) to acting on issues for the people - 2 years to find people not in office that would be suitable for office and get them introduced to the public. 2 years to reach out to the public to raise their awareness of issues and roadblocks.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

No one said it will be quick or easy. On the other hand the rewards will be well wortj it. I personally want to see more engineers, scientists, teachers, etc. in office and less lawyers and career politicians.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Absolutely - above all I want to see people who are able to adapt and a society that supports adaptation - because one thing you can depend on - Is that there will always be change

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

And the change only happens faster the more technologically advanced we get.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33128) from Coon Rapids, MN 1 year ago

Yep - each new invention takes less and less time to happen - that is exactly why everyone needs to be taught how to be flexible and adaptable.

[-] 1 points by NVPHIL (667) 1 year ago

Exatcly. One thing I know is that we will run into brand new problems that no one has seen throughout our history.
