I am changing this post to reflect something I find very alarming. There is a bill floating around in Congress and if it passes say goodbye to the freedoms you cherish.
There have been two other threads on this forum in regards to this. Please read carefully and discuss. It is very, very alarming.

One of the tactics that these kind of trolls use is to have a very interesting header with a link attached to their thread. They work off of your curiosity, outrage, or concern, etc. Also, they have their fellow trolls post to make it seem like what they post is true and legitimate.

Is that a warning or disinformation ? I'm wondering because superb anti New World order, and anti 1% information and analysis comes from the site godlikeproductions; who also support OWS. I've been on there and never had a problem; have things changed or perhaps that's why they don't want us there.

Well, I have been in these forums for a couple of months now, and I click on a LOT of links. I ALSO run multiple virus scans every night while I sleep, and I have yet to find any problems. I do, however, use the Opera Browser ;o)
I hoestly don't know how folks can engage in rationale discourse without using links. I myself have posted numerous links to the 2010 census, the Federal Reserve's balance sheet, Wikepedia, etc in order to give people the factual basis for my arguments.
Without links, our discussions just become an exchange of opinion, and there is a LOT of unsubstantiated opinion behind many of the ideas people advocate here.
I honestly don't know how we work through all the ideas flying around in here if we don't post links. I suppose, perhaps, the risk of infection is the cost of rational discourse.
I just saw something today that had been done a number of times in the last year where malware was used in the link. I took the initiative to warn others because lets me honest here this is the world wide web and there are plenty of infected links and websites out there. Also there are a lot of trolls and disengenous people on this board who hate this movement and everyone involved with it.
All I am saying is be careful. I didn't say anything about not sharing links.
Someone mentioned last week about a sub-forum for trolls and all those who write hateful and inflammatory post. That would be great if they could automatically be directed there.

Bofl, read their guidelines before you post. Every site has guidelines that you need to adhere to so don't demonize OWS for enforcing theirs.
Any threads on this forum that violates these guidelines will be deleted. OWS just wants people to focus on the issues on hand. This movement needs laser like focus.

Yes, the laserlike focus required is impossibe in a "leaderless" democracy. That IS the point. The sleeping giant that is the American people are waking up to the truth that corporations own most of our politicians and that laws have been passed over the years to benefit the corporations is coming to light. Trust me, there will be a peasant revolt when more and more wake up to the truth.
I must say that even if this movement does fail, there will be others. As I said before people are waking up to the truth and are getting ready to take action. There are too many injustices (mainly out of control corruption and greed in D.C. and W.S.) out there for people just to sit on the sidelines and do nothing. HD-I ran across that link after spending a solid year stitching the parts together as i found them at dozens of separate sites (often mixed with copious disinfo). Just today there were a bunch of trolls posting about Charlie Sheen's death on this forum. They posted an old you tube link that had malware in it. There were numerous post by their fellow trolls with that same link attached to their threads. These trolls were called out on what they did.
Every forum has trolls that pull all kinds of crap. This shouldn't be a surprise.

This is my last post to you. These trolls were up to no good and I will stand by what I said since this bs malware attack keeps going on an on. It reoccured back in July and it will keep coming back.

Yes, I just don't get why people think that this can't be done. There are tons of spy/adware, tracking cookies, malware, malicious scripts, trojan horses and other viruses out there. Macafee and Norton's are constantly updating their virus databases.
There is no harm in being cautious in opening links and making sure your Spyware and Antivirus is on and up-to-date. People should not let their guard down when they are on the internet. I just hate this nonsense that goes on.
