Is it your place to tell anyone to stay away, the administrators only do so after an extensive period of bumping comments from my understanding and your comment is far from encouraging that depends on ones perspective maybe you could rather than try just quit with encouragement and then we will bypass the answers because I can nearly guarantee they will be far from your liking.
I suggested a protest by withholding wisdom. Yeah. that's tricky. I think the only way to eliminate the trolls is by a concerted effort to ignore, not respond, not read, maybe downvote. But it is probably impossible to ban people based on their positions. Who would decide good and bad comments/users?

Hmmm. I would think 'too many cooks' logic could be applied. Perhaps the post 'owner' can be given the ability to flag a non thread comment, but not delete. A process then might be implemented where the mods must address all comments so flagged to render a decision (maybe removed offending comments). Might be too much work for mods but if they hired more mods it could be done. Whatta ya think.? Is that a reasonable compromise for you?
