Adelo Rucker and Constance Jaso like taco trucks for the spicy, low-cost fare — and the service is faster than McDonald's, they said. They disagree, however, about whether taco truck owners should be telling customers they can't smoke. "If you are outside, you should be able to smoke," Jaso said.
Rucker was all in favor of a program for putting no-smoking signs around taco trucks in Stanislaus County. "It's an excellent idea," he said. "Secondhand smoke kills people, and it's worse than first-hand smoke."
Armed with a $450,000 state grant, the Modesto-based nonprofit DMC Foundation has convinced 15 business owners with taco trucks in Modesto, Turlock, Denair, Salida and Patterson to sign smoke-free contracts.
Democrats waste money. This is why the country is going broke especially here in California.
$450,000 dollars for no smoking signs to put up on 15 taco trucks that they could have bought at a hardware store for $10 dollars.
This is happening all over the country where democrats are just giving out huge grants for stupid stuff and just draining states all over America.
you can't trust democrats with money.
