Lets officially announce on our webpage that we support the boycotting of specific financial institutions, while offering alternatives. This will give them incentive to change. Any thoughts on who we should boycott and who to replace them with?

OK, if we were able to withdraw a few billion $, or even a few hundred billion $, the Fed could easily replace it at near zero cost -- computer entries. The source of the problem is the privately owned Fed which works for the banksters and which has wrecked the economy. The government should own the Fed and it should be responsive to the people. This would give us economic democracy. Without economic democracy, the money power rules our political system and everything else.

I agree. Great idea, but it's hard to hurt the huge financial institutions that aren't through hurting us. We are the bottom 99 %.

I do have something interesting to offer though pertaining to more disinformation and our crumbling economy. The London Gold Exchange closed permanently on the 26th of September. Some media is making this sound like they dealt in play money. Even Wiki offered little information. This is something important though because with a little digging around I found out that the Rothchilds once held a seat on The London Gold Exchange. Also, the banksters were shuffling the metals around really fast on the 27th. France banned sales of Gold and Silver over $600.

there are people with money In the bank. if they all transferred their money out of a certain bank on a certain day, it would mess up their reserves, causing them to have to keep a larger reserve. this is one of their biggest fears. hard to implement but would really bring them pain.

Why not instead of attempting to unite the nation to withdraw money from accounts on a certain day, we all just withdraw our money permanently, and try to get more and more people to get on board with this scheme. Don't trust the banks.

do you guys read the old threads? the last few times this was brought up we more or less decided that its not immediate enough, not feasible enough, and not meaningful. Boycott goldman sachs? as if any of us were going shopping there next tuesday? its a neat brain storm idea with in essence no practical application.
