"“Were this contest to end, you know, by Secretary Clinton, or us getting out—certainly if the Secretary were still in the race, she could expect months and months and months of immediate, and vicious, and very personal attacks from the Trump people,” Weaver said. “So I don’t know if that’s necessarily healthy for her.”"
Thats really all you need to hear. Never before have 95% of superdelegates (the fact the Dems have this is disturbing enough) pledged before the elections started. This has been a set up since day one.
Both parties win. Sanders got to expand his brand, and Clinton gets to collect on all of those registrations and emails from the Sanders camp. There will be an endorsement from Sanders at some point, stressing the importance not of voting for a corrupted, Wall St war criminal, but keeping Trump from the whitehouse.
The people will line up and do as they are told as usual.
