Video done courtesy of yours truly. Was suppose to have an interview of him at the end speaking into the camera, but the campaign couldnt come up with it in time.

Gotta have the ask in a pitch. Gotta.

Also, a campaign without perks is a challenging campaign.

We are starting a national free conference call on Wednesday nights to discuss crowdsourcing for any minor political parties and social causes/actions.

If you are a Dem/Rep politician, well... Wall St gives you enough money already, so please don't waste our time. We are trying to shake things up, not shake down the public.

Peace.

Update: Because turbocharger continues to take part in a relentless stalk and markdown campaign against me even after posting this legitimate and relevant contribution to his page, I have decided to post more entries here with no regard whatsoever for topic.

A stalk and markdown war is being waged against me simply because I refuse to buy into this 'don't vote' crap. For as long as necessary, I will respond using alternative methods.

Part A:

Sen. Bernie Sanders released a report today directly taking on the Business Roundtable, by outing 31 banks and corporations who have dodged $128 billion in taxes.

According to the report, the 31 corporations and banks have dodged $128 billion in taxes by setting up offshore tax havens. They have received $6.5 billion in tax refunds, and $2.5 trillion in taxpayer bailout money. While stuffing their pockets with trillions of taxpayer dollars, the Business Roundtable has called for the deficit to be reduced by raising the eligibility age for Medicare and Social Security to 70, cut Social Security and veterans’ benefits, and increase taxes on working families.

The reason why congressional Republicans are adamantly opposed to generating new revenue through closing these loopholes is that doing so would force these tax dodgers to pay their fair share. For Republicans, the concept of fairness only applies to making sure the wealthy get more by doing less. One of the reasons why Republicans continue to lose elections is because they insist on protecting corporations and banks at the expense of the American people.

Instead of passing the burden of deficit reduction on to workers, seniors, the poor, and the middle class, how about we start with getting the 31 corporations and banks listed below to pay their taxes?

Campaign is going well, one week left to help out.

What this campaign is proving is that waiting until things are perfect to act is a failed strategy.

Just go for it, see what happens, learn a ton of shit, and make it happen!!

South Carolina Republican Wants The NRA In Charge Of School Curriculum For 3 Weeks Each Year

January 14, 2015 By Allen Clifton

It has been my long-standing belief that the National Rifle Association is one of the most detrimental organizations to society in this country. Not because I’m anti-gun, but because I think there’s a huge difference between gun rights advocacy and a group of gun-obsessed radicals who are basically just shills for gun and ammo manufacturers.

They make it nearly impossible for this country to ever sit down and have a common sense discussion about guns. No matter what the problem is, their answer is always the same: “more guns.” That’s always the answer for gun nuts. Even when a country like Australia or France (two nations with a small fraction of our gun violence) experience some sort of terrorist attack (Australia last month, France last week – 14 combined victims), these gun fanatics have tried to claim that more guns may have prevented these tragedies.

Meanwhile the United States, according to the FBI, averages around 24 gun-related homicides - per day.

I’m pretty sure Australia and France would gladly go toe-to-toe with the United States when comparing their “gun violence problem” with ours.

Well, now it seems the NRA may have a hand in directing school curriculum in South Carolina. Republican state Rep. Alan Clemmons has introduced a bill that would require schools in the state to dedicate three straight weeks every school year to the Second Amendment, with curriculum centered on guns that comes directly from the NRA.

And according to Mother Jones:

The law would also require that every December 15—the day after the anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook school in Newtown—be designated “Second Amendment Awareness Day.” To celebrate the occasion, schools will be required to hold mandatory poster or essay contests at every grade level, with the theme “The Right To Bear Arms; One American Right Protecting All Others.” The South Carolina Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus will be in charge of choosing first, second, and third place winners in both contests.

Yes, you’ve read that right. Not only does Clemmons want to dedicate nearly an entire month of the school year to NRA propaganda, but he also wants to exploit the horrific Sandy Hook shooting to set up a “Second Amendment awareness day” the day after the anniversary of the shooting.

This bill is just absolutely asinine. Though it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see it passed. After all, this is a state with a governor who thinks it’s okay for people to carry loaded firearms on them when they’re out drinking at a bar.

And while I would hope that there are at least enough sensible Republicans who would vote against this absurd bill, when it comes to guns and conservatives I never put anything past them. Because, yes, I fully believe there are millions of conservatives who think that teaching children about guns is more important than teaching them science, math or history.

David Barton Again Falsely Claims The Average Welfare Family Receives $61,000 A Year In Benefits

SUBMITTED BY Kyle Mantyla on Wednesday, 1/14/2015 3:07 pm

A few months ago, David Barton appeared on Glenn Beck's radio program, where he falsely asserted that the "average welfare family" receives $61,000 a year in government benefits.

As we pointed out at the time, this was an entirely misleading claim first put forth by the Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee back in 2012 that was, as the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities explained, derived by relying on "a series of serious manipulations of the data that violate basic analytic standards and are used to produce a potentially inflammatory result."

But just because the claim is false, that certainly is not going to stop Barton from repeating it, as he did when he appeared on Daystar's "Marcus and Joni" program yesterday:

Republicans love homosexuality - as long as no one knows they are the homosexual in question - and they love hurting and humiliating other people. If there are two overpowering traits that make a Republican conservative politician, I'd have to say those two are it.

I have nothing against homosexuality. But torture, hurting other people BECAUSE YOU CAN, well, it would be all right if they confined themselves to sado-masochistic hobbies but history plainly shows they want to inflict pain upon other people. Pain and humiliation (the gravy to pain). That's just not right, but it's totally Republican.
