The GOP Plot To Sabotage US Economy ~ Treachery if not Treason

Fri Jun 08, 2012 at 08:15 AM PDT Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan & Kevin McCarthy: Plot with Frank Luntz

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/06/08/1098434/-Eric-Cantor-Paul-Ryan-Kevin-McCarthy-Plot-To-Sabotage-US-Economy-with-Frank-Luntz

(Sorry kiddies, it's a Partisan Politics World After All, & Cons R Evil!)

On January 20, 2009 Republican Leaders in Congress literally plotted to sabotage and undermine U.S. Economy during President Obama's Inauguration.

In Robert Draper's book, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives" Draper wrote that during a four hour, "invitation only" meeting with GOP Hate-Propaganda Minister, Frank Luntz, the below listed Senior GOP Law Writers literally plotted to sabotage, undermine and destroy America's Economy.

The Guest List:
Frank Luntz - GOP Minister of Propaganda
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)
Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA),
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX),
Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX),
Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI)
Rep. Dan Lungren (R-CA),
Sen. Jim DeMint (SC-R),
Sen. Jon Kyl (AZ-R),
Sen. Tom Coburn (OK-R),
Sen. John Ensign (NV-R) and
Sen. Bob Corker (TN-R).

Non-lawmakers present Newt Gingrich

During the four hour meeting:
The senior GOP members plotted to bring Congress to a standstill regardless how much it would hurt the American Economy by pledging to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation.

These Republican members of Congress were not simply airing their complaints regarding the other party's political platform for four long hours. No, these Republican Congressional Policymakers, who were elected to do 'the People's work' were literally plotting to sabotage, undermine and destroy the U.S. Economy.

Mitt Romney, who has hired most of Bush/Cheney Policy Advisers, and the GOP party believe they can defeat President Obama, take control of the Senate and maintaining control of the House of Representatives so long as the economic recovery stalls. So they are actively trying to make it happen ... and that's what hate-propaganda Minister Frank Luntz had in mind when he organized the January 20, 2009 covert meeting.

Republicans do not pay Frank Luntz to offer ideas for good policy to help America, rather, Republicans pay Luntz' to devise lies that will keep Americans dumb and ignorant to facts on policy. For decades Republicans have paid Frank Luntz to tell them (Republicans) what to say in order to brainwash 'the People' with lies and hate to destroy policy.

Luntz does not use words to merely have Americans "change their minds." Rather, Frank Luntz uses words intentionally to dumb-down Americans and fill them with lies and hate so as to brainwash and program Americans to hate a given policy.

Frank Luntz, like many Hate-Propaganda Ministers, loathes the notion of honesty in debate. Also, like many Hate-Propaganda Ministers, Frank Luntz wants total control ... total control even it if means destroying America. So, Luntz uses the tactics similar to Joseph Goebbels: spread hate, lies and fear in order to gain control. (More on Frank Luntz at the end of this Diary).

Remember, for months prior to January 20, 2009, America had been losing over 750,000 jobs per month because of policies these same elected Republican lawmakers had enacted and their goal, their goal that night, was to plot ways to sabotage and undermine any and all legislation that would pull American families up and out of the economic calamity they [lawmakers] had helped create.

Two months after their covert meeting where they plotted to sabotage the US Economy, in March 2009, Rep. Pete Sessions said Republicans should follow the model of the Taliban in its battles against President Obama.

In the March 2009 interview with National Journal Rep Sessions said:

"Taliban Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban. Insurgency is the way they went about systematically understanding how to disrupt and change a person's entire processes. And these Taliban -- is an example of how you go about to change a person from their messaging to their operations to their frontline message. And we need to understand that Insurgency may be required when [dealing with] the other side"

~Rep Pete Sessions, March 2009 to National Journal

Rep Pete Sessions went on to say:

"If they [democrats] do not give us those options or opportunities then we will then become Insurgency ... I think Insurgency is a mindset and an attitude that we're going to have to search for and find ways to get our message out and to be prepared to see things for what they are, rather than trying to do something about them"

Also, at their meeting they plotted to suddenly stop supporting any Stimulus Legislation, even though, they all supported Bush/Cheney Stimulus legislation.

At the meeting, Rep Kevin McCarthy said,
"We've gotta challenge them on every single bill."

"Show united and unyielding opposition to the president’s economic policies."

Remember, these same Republican members of Congress supported the very Bush/Cheney policies that caused America to teeter on the brink of the 2nd Great Depression and caused the 2007 US Economic Meltdown.

Here's how they all voted:
-- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney January 2008 Stimulus
-- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney bailing out Bear Stern
-- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney bailing out AIG
-- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney TARP (sept 2008)
-- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney TARP (oct 2008)

And these same Republican members of Congress:

RepubliCon, do nothing, Laissez Faire government, yes.

Dem government without Con sabotage will actually get things fixed and repaired still in ruins from the Bush-Cheney regime.

Might even get some Cons indicted for war crimes and treason.

The RATpublicans want America to be a third-world country. Then the corpoRATS can rule supreme.

In fact the whole policy of the Ratpublicans is to free the looters to loot. It is insane and unAmerican.

The dems are very different from right wing repubs. It was Repub appointed supreme court nominees that found in favor of citizens united and have created this unlimited obscene amount of corp money to buy our elected officials. The dem appointed judges voted against citizens united. Thats a real difference isn't it?

[-] 0 points by camams (7) 1 year ago

But it was an ignorant Dem or should we call him a lib Pres POS that ran up the deficit higher than any other Pres

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

The current annual deficit came from Bush. This Pres has added very little to the deficit. He tried to cut Bushes deficit but your repubs have obstructed the effort. Got it?

Whoa!. such hostility. Are you against civil discussion? Are your arguments so weak? name calling and schoolyard bullying tactics are the methods of your candidate Romney. Do you think that citizens united does not matter? Do you disagree that dems are against it and your repubs are for it? Perhaps as a republican you support it. Thats ok. your allowed. You might be more comfortable on a tea party web site. They do a lot of nasty insults too.

[-] -2 points by shadzworth (-394) 1 year ago

" Do you think that citizens united does not matter?"

I'm fine with citizens united it's you that does not matter.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

Then we disagree. If I don't matter why are you responding to my post? Maybe I do matter. maybe you don't want me to effectively illustrate how your republicans are anti 99% and puppets of the 1%? Maybe you don't want to see the truth about how the Dems have tried pushing the agenda of the 99% but have been obstructed by the treasonous republicans who have resolve to destroy the economy because they don't want the recovery to occur during a democratic presidency. That is it isn't it?

[-] -2 points by shadzworth (-394) 1 year ago

Maybe I just want you to know what I and many others really think about you? It could be just that simple.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

Nah. Your just pissed cause I don't buy the crap that the parties are the same. Take an issue and it is clear! few weeks ago the House defeated the ndaa2013 repeal. repubs voted for ndaa, dems voted to repeal. There IS a left and right wing. Americas left wing has lost it's way, but with our help we will correct that. Support OWS. Vote out pro citizens united politicians, LMFAO

[-] -2 points by shadzworth (-394) 1 year ago

I don't recall ever posting that there is no difference, the Dems are mostly responsible for the present economic hell and should be defeated and driven out of the country with you in tow.

[-] -1 points by salta (-1104) 1 year ago

No i dont speak him , he spoke for himself when he voted not to give medical assistance to any babies that survived late term abortions, when he was in the illinois senate. as for them being illegal, it depends on what state you live in. it's called partial birth abortion.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

The GOP Plot To Sabotage US Economy ~ Treachery if not Treason

Fri Jun 08, 2012 at 08:15 AM PDT Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan & Kevin McCarthy: Plot with Frank Luntz

Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan & Kevin McCarthy: Plot To Sabotage US Economy with Frank Luntz

The Guest List: Frank Luntz - GOP Minister of Propaganda Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) Rep. Dan Lungren (R-CA), Sen. Jim DeMint (SC-R), Sen. Jon Kyl (AZ-R), Sen. Tom Coburn (OK-R), Sen. John Ensign (NV-R) and Sen. Bob Corker (TN-R).

Non-lawmakers present Newt Gingrich

During the four hour meeting: The senior GOP members plotted to bring Congress to a standstill regardless how much it would hurt the American Economy by pledging to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation.

At the meeting, Rep Kevin McCarthy said, "We've gotta challenge them on every single bill."

"Show united and unyielding opposition to the president’s economic policies."

Remember, these same Republican members of Congress supported the very Bush/Cheney policies that caused America to teeter on the brink of the 2nd Great Depression and caused the 2007 US Economic Meltdown.

Here's how they all voted: -- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney January 2008 Stimulus -- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney bailing out Bear Stern -- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney bailing out AIG -- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney TARP (sept 2008) -- "Yes" to Bush/Cheney TARP (oct 2008)

And these same Republican members of Congress:

Fact: Bush's peek unemployment was 6%. Obama is over 10%, nearly double. Fact: Unnecessary regulations proposed and passed by Democrats cost the private sector billions every quarter. Fact: Wall Street has given more money to Obama than the all of the Republicans, so you can't say they are pro-corportation. Fact: Democrat-controlled areas like Detroit and LA are in the worst economic situations whereas places under Republican control like Arizona, Texas, and Georgia are experiencing economic growth. Fact: GOP is in favor of repealing entitlement programs (which consist of 60% of the budget) whereas Democrats want to expand them. Fact (though somewhat unrelated): The KKK was founded by DEMOCRATS and the Jim Crow laws were passed by DEMOCRATS.

[-] 0 points by JS93 (-321) 1 year ago

This Zombie’s fallacious and insulting slapdash assortment of so-called “KKK facts” do nothing to negate or answer to the actual horrible reality of Traitorous Republicon Sabotage by an Evil Cabal of exclusively GOP Traitors in Congress and key Republicon Gurus of Republicon plotted: sabotage, treachery, fraud, espionage, perjury, malfeasance, subversiveness, wreckage, causing: massive job losses, homelessness, massive losses of worth and wealth, poverty, illness, divorce, rampage, drug addiction, alcoholism, overdose, murder, suicide and death. All for political gain!

On January 20, 2009 Republican Leaders in Congress literally plotted to sabotage and undermine U.S. Economy during President Obama's Inauguration.

Heres your plot to destroy the ecomomy.

WASHINGTON -- A critical document from President Barack Obama's free trade negotiations with eight Pacific nations was leaked online early Wednesday morning, revealing that the administration intends to bestow radical new political powers upon multinational corporations, contradicting prior promises.

The leaked document has been posted on the website of Public Citizen, a long-time critic of the administration's trade objectives. The new leak follows substantial controversy surrounding the secrecy of the talks, in which some members of Congress have complained they are not being given the same access to trade documents that corporate officials receive.

"The outrageous stuff in this leaked text may well be why U.S. trade officials have been so extremely secretive about these past two years of [trade] negotiations," said Lori Wallach, director of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch in a written statement.

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) has been so incensed by the lack of access as to introduce legislation requiring further disclosure. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has gone so far as to leak a separate document from the talks on his website. Other Senators are considering writing a letter to Ron Kirk, the top trade negotiator under Obama, demanding more disclosure.

The newly leaked document is one of the most controversial of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact. It addresses a broad sweep of regulations governing international investment and reveals the Obama administration's advocacy for policies that environmental activists, financial reform advocates and labor unions have long rejected for eroding key protections currently in domestic laws.

Under the agreement currently being advocated by the Obama administration, American corporations would continue to be subject to domestic laws and regulations on the environment, banking and other issues. But foreign corporations operating within the U.S. would be permitted to appeal key American legal or regulatory rulings to an international tribunal. That international tribunal would be granted the power to overrule American law and impose trade sanctions on the United States for failing to abide by its rulings.

The terms run contrary to campaign promises issued by Obama and the Democratic Party during the 2008 campaign.

"We will not negotiate bilateral trade agreements that stop the government from protecting the environment, food safety, or the health of its citizens; give greater rights to foreign investors than to U.S. investors; require the privatization of our vital public services; or prevent developing country governments from adopting humanitarian licensing policies to improve access to life-saving medications," reads the campaign document.

Yet nearly all of those vows are violated by the leaked Trans-Pacific document. The one that is not contravened in the present document -- regarding access to life-saving medication -- is in conflict with a previously leaked document on intellectual property (IP) standards.

"Bush was better than Obama on this," said Judit Rius, U.S. manager of Doctors Without Borders Access to Medicines Campaign, referring to the medication rules. "It's pathetic, but it is what it is. The world's upside-down."

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative insists that while broad standards require many medical patents and IP rules that would increase the price of medications, the U.S. intends to work with countries involved in the Trans-Pacific talks to ensure that the agreement does not restrict access to life-saving drugs.

USTR was not immediately available to comment on the newly leaked investment chapter of the Trans-Pacific deal, and has previously stated that it cannot comment on the terms of an allegedly leaked document.

That statement is belied somewhat by recent American efforts in other international negotiations to establish controversial medical patents that grant companies long-term monopolies on life-saving medications. Those monopolies increase drug prices, which impede access to medications, particularly in developing nations. The World Health Organization and dozens of nonprofit public health groups have objected to the standards sought by the Obama administration. Two United Nations groups recently urged global governments not to agree to trade terms currently being advocated by the Obama administration, on the grounds that such rules would hurt public health.

Such foreign investment standards have also come under fire at home, from both conservative sovereignty purists and progressive activists for the potential to hamper domestic priorities implemented by democratically elected leaders. The North American Free Trade Agreement, passed by Congress in 1993, and a host of subsequent trade pacts granted corporations new powers that had previously been reserved for sovereign nations and that have allowed companies to sue nations directly over issues.

But while the current trade deal could pose a challenge to American sovereignty, large corporations headquartered in the U.S. could potentially benefit from it by using the same terms to oppose the laws of foreign governments. If one of the eight Pacific nations involved in the talks passes a new rule to which an American firm objects, that U.S. company could take the country to court directly in international tribunals.

Public Citizen challenged the independence of these international tribunals, noting that "The tribunals would be staffed by private sector lawyers that rotate between acting as 'judges' and as advocates for the investors suing the governments," according to the text of the agreement.

In early June, a tribunal at the World Bank agreed to hear a case involving similar foreign investment standards, in which El Salvador banned cyanide-based gold mining on the basis of objections from the Catholic Church and environmental activists. If the World Bank rules against El Salvador, it could overturn the nation's domestic laws at the behest of a foreign corporation.

Basic public health and land-use rules would be subject to challenge before an international tribunal, as would bank regulations at capital levels that might be used to stymie bank runs or financial crises. The IMF has advocated the use of such capital controls, which would be prohibited under the current version of the leaked trade pact. Although several countries have proposed exceptions that would allow them to regulate speculative financial bets, the U.S. has resisted those proposals, according to Public Citizen.

Trans-Pacific negotiations have been taking place throughout the Obama presidency. The deal is strongly supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations. Obama's Republican opponent in the 2012 presidential elections, Mitt Romney, has urged the U.S. to finalize the deal as soon as possible.

So this a Bush era trade deal, that the right wing Chamber of Commerce and Romney want passed. But you suggest that some leaked document of an unfinished agreement is proof that Pres Obama is trying to sabotage the economy. Are you a little slow. It's ok. Maybe your young. Or just didn't do well in school. In any event maybe we should protest against this supposed secret affront to the economy. That should be enough. I guess your repubs are the ones who will vote to ratify in congress so lets start there.

I don't care about politics. That's why I joined OWS. I don't think we can solve today's problems using politics. We need to build from the bottom up. If I cared about politics I would be joining a party or promoting one.

I just noticed you posted a whole lot and figured you must be the website's owner. Usually, people who post the most are. I wanted to ask a question to the owner, so that's why I asked.

Are you addicted to this forum?

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

Politics does not necessarily refer to the American duopoly we live under. Even a bottom up, horizontal, ideal, anarchistic system would be considered politics since at it's roots simply means how people interact with other people. My politics are left, and progressive. That has nothing to do with the 2 parties. But on the issues I support positions that benefit the 99%. In regards to the American political system of 2 party monopoly I support changes to allow 3rd party success, open primaries, expand House reps, eliminate Electoral college, mandatory voting for all eligible voters, and such.

[-] -2 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

We can play with definitions all day. By politics I meant the current political system in US. You can spend time working with third parties, voting, etc... I think it's useless. The system is corrupted to the core. Any new parties will also get corrupted if they play within it. Nah, we need to working outside of that framework.

[-] 3 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

I want to rebuild America for the 99%. With a firm foundation in left wing progressive beliefs. From the ground up preferably, but by any non violent means necessary! I also believe we cannot let right wing politicians (repub, or Dem) win any more elections. It is the right wing policies that have crashed the world economy and continue to prey on the 99%. What do you and I disagree on? can you say without a childish insult?

[-] 3 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

I've been out protesting with OWS dozens of times. With several different groups of friends! You don't define "the whole point of OWS". The people I meet and protest with at OWS believe the point is to correct the wrongs against the 99%. The vast majority I meet/hear/see @protests, on livestream, and rare MSM coverage believes the Dems have moved too far to the right, and have caved in to the right vast majority agree OWS is about Rebuilding the left/progressive from the ground up preferably, but by any non violent means necessary!. Of course I'm not a bother to this great movement. I embody. I speak up for it andf the 99% against all Anti OWS pro 1% lackies. Is that you? You are trying to push my buttons with your unfounded lie about me being paid by the Dems.? LMFAO! I am registered independent, Liberal/progressive. Vote out right wing wacko politicians!

We're not here to rebuild the Democrats my government lover friend. We are here to rebuild America using new ways, ways that don't rely on the crooked politicians you still believe in.

[-] 3 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

You don't speak for me! I don't subscribe or submit to your simplistic view of what I am! I believe OWS embraces all supporters of the 99% agenda, you quote non sense about politicians/representatives/republicans/bottom up. Distractions all. You takeno stand on no issue that affects the 99%! Support OWS! vote out pro citizens united politicians! money out of politics.! you support that!

[-] -3 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

Read the front page of this website. WE DON'T NEED POLITICIANS. That's the whole point of OWS. We can organize things ourselves. That's how we the 99% take power back in our hands, instead of leaving it to our corrupted representatives in office.

Anyhow, it's not like you're a bother to the movement. You're just at home using a forum. I doubt you protest much considering your on this site 24/7. Some guy, anarkos, said you were a paid democrat plant.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

You don't define me. I don't submit or subscribe to your childish simple insults. I recognize our govt has been stolen by the right wing 1%. I acknowledge the dems have moved right for 30 years and have failed to stand up to the right wing policies that have allowed the 1% to perpetrate the largest transfer of wealth from the 99%. So I agree the govt sucks. If I could see a way to live wothout govt I would support it. You seem only to be upset about my accurate labeling of the right wing as our enemy. I guess that means you support the right wing. Right? wing?

[+] -4 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

I don't want to define you. I'm just saying you're a government lover. No big deal. Do what you have to do. I'm working on creating a better world from the bottom up without the need for politicians.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

I've read plenty. I would embrace any republican who supported the positions that would help the 99%. They seem to attack progressive agenda, as such I must challenge them for the benefit of the 99%. Believe it or not there are some people who come to this site to attack, tear down, because they are afraid that this movement might succeed at helping the 99%. Do you want to help the 99%.? Would you embrace a republican who supports the agenda of the 99%?

[-] -3 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

Like it says on the cover of this front page - We don't need politicians. Even if there was a republican on Occupy's side we would not need him. We can build a better world by ourselves, from the bottom up. No need for representatives.

I'm a radical dude, not a government lover such as yourself.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

Sure. And in so doing we must take a stand for the 99% against the 1%. We must weigh in on the issues that hurt the 99%. This should allow us to garner more support amongst the 99% and obviously grow the movement from the bottom up as you elude to. In the meantime, the in between time I for one will not surrender anymore ground to the right wing wackos whose policies have created the current destructive system. I will agitate for reform, and I will support the bottom up efforts. OWS embraces all political persuasions, and all non violent tactics.

[-] -3 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

If OWS embraces all political persuasions, then why are you fighting against the republicans since that would just be another persuasion OWS embraces? Do you favor in-fighting?

Sorry, but OWS does not support all political persuasions. It does not even support politics. Read the main page - We do not need politicians.

Yeah I agree we should rebuild from the ground up preferably. but should we build a right wing, conservative government.? You can't say the right wing is the problem. [-] -2 points by shadzhairart (-357) 1 year ago

Why would we want to rebuild if it's to build something we already have now?

I think the corrupted government is the problem. Both the democrats and the republicans are corrupted.

This is an anarchist founded movement. The OWS is anarchist oriented. What leanings are associated with anarchists?

You sound very much to be Right Wing oriented - what leanings are represented there?

Currently who is standing up for the people?

The Right Wing ? or The Left Wing?

Look at those in government right now - and who is standing in the way of public/people prosperity?

There is a big group jumping up and down shouting Fuck you people.

Then there is also some sort of secret agreements going on that don't look to good for the people either - pacific trade agreement.

But if you were to look at the actions of both Houses - the actions of the members of both houses. Who has supported legislation for the people and who has supported legislation for the CorpoRats.

You Brucie and your sock-puppets spew shit.

You sound like an old star trek episode. So then you don't agree with these issues. Left, right, talkin points or not. These are the changes we must agitate for. If you don't agree, then what do you support,? what are you against.? Which issues.? Is it simply wing talk you want to silence. Seems silly. Take a stand, or stand aside.

[-] -2 points by GDFJsbVbw (-20) 1 year ago

You've made your stand with the Democrats, you are not of the body, you are a "left wing" shill.

"star trek"? Is that some "left wing" propaganda?

Numbers and circling birds

conservatives want to conserve tradition

human culture perpetuates by imitation

one human builds a wheel; and every human around builds wheel

children repeat the action of there parents

this creates a stable social order

following the methods of the past

we preserve rule/ideas that have been successful in the past

this gives a lasting permanence to human culture

You are yet another shill, but YOU shill for the conservatives and Repuglicans....All you are not of the body,......NOT OF THE BODY....OWS!!!

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

I am proud of my left wing principles! Just as anarchists reside on the left of the political spectrum, OWS resides on the left as well!. The 99% will benefit only when left wing principles are implemented!. The Dems have abandoned the left. They have moved right for 30 years! Dems have lost their backbone when confronting right wing policies. I believe dems should be challanged on this. And believe they can be co opted, dragged back to their natural left wing principles, and made to serve the 99%. Ain't nothing wrong with my position. You don't have to agree. I am more critical of the dems because they have betrayed the left. I expect the repubs to serve the 1%. They trumpet it proudly. The difference between left and right is stark. But the dems have been left wing (decades ago) and must be dragged back, and made to serve the 99%.

[-] -3 points by GDFJsbVbw (-20) 1 year ago

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 1 year ago

Yeah it's left wing propaganda! I stand with OWS! I am the 99%. Do you support immigration reform, living wage, unions, penalizing outsourcing, rewarding onshoring? Take a stand, or stand aside.

[-] -3 points by GDFJsbVbw (-20) 1 year ago

It is you who stand with the "left wing",it is you who are promoting the Democrats and Obama,it's too late for you to try and deny. You have been shilling for Obama for weeks on this forum the proof is all over. You should be banned along with you fellow shills. Traitors all.

The dems who vote for right wing policies are more corrupted than repubs. We expect the repubs to serve the 1%. They proclaim it proudly. Dems have betrayed the left wing.

And these same Republican members of Congress:

(CONTINUED:)

Supported Bush/Cheney keeping cost of two wars out of the Budget.

Supported Bush/Cheney spending $4Trillion while giving Top 1% Tax Cuts; ignoring the fact that taxes pay for wars.

Not only did these Senior members of Congress plot to destroy the American Economy more than it already was destroyed? They actually carried out their mission:

Every one of these Senior members of Congress have threatened Government Shutdown over things like:

- Funding planned parenthood,

- Raising the Debt Ceiling which, in-and-of-itself, would cause US Economic turmoil.

... oh, and stay current, these same House GOP members of Congress are still, today, threatening a Government Shutdown again over the Debt Ceiling.

Last year, during the Debt Ceiling negotiations, Eric Cantor and Sen. Jon Kyl abruptly walked out of negotiations and refused to renew discussions with Democrats. As a result, America's credit rating was lowered which put a smile on Republican's faces.

Senators: Jim DeMint, Jon Kyl, Tom Coburn, John Ensign, and Bob Corker have:

- Filibustered more Bills (over 300) than any Congress combined in US History.
- Voted NO on every single piece of Legislation brought to the Floor including:
NO on Al Franken's Anti-Rape Amendment,
NO on Lilly Ledbetter,
NO on Fair Pay Act,
NO on Anti-Outsourcing Bill (2010)

How in the hell could any thinking American be against those Bills? Seriously?!?

Representatives: Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, Rep. Pete Sessions, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra and Dan Lungren have voted NO on every single piece of Legislation including:

NO on increasing FEMA during natural disasters.

These same failed Congressmen have been on tv constantly chanting the lie that they were guilty of ... the lie that "President Obama's policies undermine the US Economy."

Currently: Republicans Using the Transportation Bill to Sabotage the US Economy:

If the current Transportation Bill expires June 30, there will be no funding for transportation projects and 1.9 million construction workers would lose their jobs. Eric Cantor and Republicans in the House are refusing to act because Republicans would be overjoyed if almost two million Americans were added to the unemployment rolls this summer before the election.

Other Legislation used to sabotage US Economy

Republicans in Congress refused to negotiate or even discuss passing President Obama's American Jobs Act that independent economists claim would create 1.3 million new jobs. God forbid Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan or Kevin McCarthy support an actual Bill that would put people to work building needed infrastructure and provide funds to pay to rehire hundreds of thousands of teachers, firefighters, police officers and other public service workers that have been laid off in droves by cash-starved states.

Republicans are gearing up block President Obama's 2012 Anti-Outsourcing Bill - which is a Bill to discourage the outsourcing of American jobs, which is due to come to the Senate floor around the fourth of July.

The Washington Post reports that Republicans have made it clear that the Federal Reserve would face fierce Republican criticism if it takes further actions to stimulate the economy before the election. The Washington Post wrote that,

Republicans... have expressed deep concern about measures taken by the Fed to support the economy -- and could be doubly upset if new efforts goose the stock market and are perceived to work in favor of President Obama's re-election.

Frank Luntz

Like I said above, Republicans do not pay Luntz to offer ideas for good policy to help America, rather, Republicans pay Luntz' to devise lies will keep Americans dumb and ignorant to facts on policy. For decades Republicans have paid Frank Luntz to tell them (Republicans) what to say in order to brainwash 'the People' with lies and hate to destroy policy.

Luntz is so good at lying, he even lies to himself. In order to blur reality and not take responsibility for his devising the spread of propaganda through hate and lies Luntz told Matt Lauer

"I focus on words that cause people to change their minds, change their behavior even change their attitudes."

~Frank Luntz 3/2011 in interview with Matt Lauer

No, Luntz is not using words to merely have Americans "change their minds" -- Luntz is using words intentionally to dumb-down Americans and fill them with lies and hate so as to brainwash and program Americans to hate a given policy.

Luntz has been the Republican Hate-Propaganda Minister since at least 1993 and his list of words to stop policies that help America are vast:

Don’t say “oil drilling.” Say “energy independence.”

Don’t say “inheritance tax.” Say “death tax.”

Don't say "Capitalism." Say "Economic Freedom."

Don't say that the government 'taxes the rich.' Say Government "takes from the rich."

Don't admit Lobbyists are Collective Bargainers for Corporations. Say "Union Collective Bargaining steals your tax dollars."

Luntz says people hate government so:

Don’t say “healthcare reform.” Say “government takeover.”

Don't say "Public workers." Call them "Government workers."

For the 2012 election, Frank Luntz is training his failed co-harts in the Republican party on what Luntz says are "the three most powerful words to use" to con people is: "I get it."

Luntz says:

Don't tell Occupy Wall Street "you don't give a shit." Say "I get it."

Don't tell struggling Americans "you're on your own." Say "I get it."

Don't tell Occupy Wall Street "you should protest Wall Street." Say "You should occupy the White House."

Yes, it is true, the House Republican Leaders: Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy met in secret and plotted to sabotage and undermine the US Economy ... I call them TRAITORS TO AMERICA.

So, the next time you hear the GOP say "Obama wants to destroy the economy" or "Government Shutdown" ... remember ... as Newt Gingrich said after their four hour dinner on January 20, 2009 "You’ll remember this as the day the seeds of 2012 were sown."

   To Translate GINGRICH:
"You'll remember this day as they day we became Traitors to the United States."

My hope is that Americans and all members of Congress are reminded via twitter, facebook and all other forms of media over and over and over:

Republican Leaders in Congress literally plotted to sabotage the US Economy on January 20, 2009.
