Calling all whistleblowers: This guy has crossed the line in his threats of violence and rape against GirlFriday. If his identity can be divulged he could, and should be subjected to criminal charges. Would anyone who has a wife or daughter protect the identity of this anti-social bastard. The only place he belongs is behind bars, and by God I want to see him there!

The disruptor "TheRapist" should probably change his/her name to "TheFBIRapist" or the "TheNYPDRapist". This is a standard COINTELPRO type attack on a forum or movement. It's an uglifying technique to chase away visitors, it gives a bad taste to any site. I've seen it many times.

Thanks, I think it should too, but I have been advised by someone of the leagalistic persuasion that if it actually is going to resort in criminal prosecution (which I hope it will) we should let the matter drop here in order not to inadvertantly interfere with that process. It appears that it would not be a felony and would be treated more like harassment. Historical cases show mostly probation as the end result. The problem is proving that the person who created the post is actually the person who owns the account. It appears that for the most part that is unprovable unless the person admits they did it. Good luck though.
