Subject: Tell Reid and Pelosi: Don't cave to Republicans on Keystone XL

Dear Friend,

The fight to stop Keystone XL is far from over.

President Obama may have delayed his decision on the pipeline, but Republicans have redoubled their efforts, and could be dangerously close to forcing its approval.

House Republicans said Friday that they are planning to push a bill to force a decision on the pipeline and strip the President's authority to make that decision. Worse, they will attach this poison pill to the President's payroll-tax and unemployment benefit extension package -- considered a must-pass piece of legislation that contains crucial help for our long-term unemployed.

I just signed a petition to Leaders Reid and Pelosi telling them not to make a backroom deal allowing Republicans to force this pipeline on Americans. Learn more and sign here:

I classify you now as a troll and desist from further answering. I don't understand why you're in here!!!

I am here

because I am mad.

The whole world has gone mad,

driven into madness by the madness that is M.A.D.

YES I am mad.

. . . . and it's clickable . . .

I believe

One person can make a difference

I believe that.

And if that is true, just think what all of us can do, together.

And so I plant my flag

right in your turf

I raise it high

and why?

because . . . . ... ... ... we all have hills to fly them on

and I'll fly mine on yours . . . .

there was no grace, no elegance in the manner in which you avoided the question.

And so I will repeat:

You're a though one. If you corner me then you will have to do the same with the rest of those in the Global Revolution Movement too. They're not happy about what's going on and they want to change it. I'm not the only one to want to challenge the status quo because it doesn't meet the expectation of the moral majority and they're fighting back. I'm all for it. Obviously, you have no objections with the ruling oppressive political system and don't have a need for change. I understand and ,if this is the case, I have no right to question your motivation. However, there are millions out there whot want change desperately and, as far as I can see, they're doing a good job and all without any violence. Very admirable. The fight, this time, will go on until we have a real government by the people for the people. I would like to add that am White, I would say, reasonable conservative, not necessarily Republican, actually registered now as independent, because I have enough with both parties.I'm flexible,I know that there are areas of nobody's business, not even the government. I hope that you come around and see a need for total change in this Country. From a patriot and activist...all my best.

moral majority

Is there such a thing?

If there are areas that are no one's business, then how will you determine morality, and if there is such a majority?

Neither a man's religious philosophy, nor his skin color, picks my pocket, I say. Nor does his or her choice in partner.

GRM - sounds like a gremlin to me.

Certainly if BONER passes legislation that moves the Keystone XL pipeline forward, this would be one example.

Yet I say here is an opportunity to prevent yet another bad law from being passed.

This is debatable. I recognize that I'm versed in diplomatic expression. As for which laws I would like to change: all of them because they're too restrictive and punitive and lack our consent. This system had to be changed.

The reason why we are in these miserable economy it's because of our politicians and all their evil laws.

and which laws would that be, exactly . . .

Hi, well all of them at the State and Federal level as none of them has had the consent of the governed to be passed into law. We have a dictatorship here and not a Republic as established by our forefathers and that's a fact. What I have suggested is that we become political, organize our own political party, start a membership drive right now and eventually have thousands of our people running for all the available political offices from Villages,Towns,Cities and concurrently at the State and Federal level. We have to kick all those skunks out if we want total changes as there will be no changes at all if we leave the present rulers in place. I'm happy to see that this movement has branched out to reach into many areas of social development: housing, need for the poor, etc. etc. in just over a couple of months.

Reid and Pelosi, whether we talk about these two democrats and or any other republicans it's time to kick them all out. They're just not good. Makes no sense to tell them anything. They can care less about what we have to say. Have you ever written letters to members of Congress or other politicians? What did you get as an answer? Just a acknowledgment letter if at all. What about what you asked them to do for you? Nothing isn't it? Well, my programs which I have advocating for the past 35 years is that we should go to Washington,D.C. and give those skunks, not all 535 of them, but close to it except a few, 48 hours to get out of town. Then we can take care of those in the State Houses. If we want to go the slow way then let's organize our own Global Revolution Party and start a membership drive. We have the numbers and other millions will soon follow. Then we can run our own people for all of the political offices at the States and Federal Level. The reason why we are in these miserable economy it's because of our politicians and all their evil laws. We have to kick them out.

Arent Reid and Pelosi mega-rich 1%?

[-] -1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

they may be, but it is not pertinent to the issue of stopping the pipeline. They are in a position to act, and as such, this petition provides us with the opportunity to incentivize the behavior we wish to see them initiate.

It is pertinent. This country is split down the middle. it is obvious which side of the fence the OWS movement is on. OWS is not changing the red vs blue issues.
