No no . . . .

that would be

Repelican Party Donkey Koch

That's right.

The repelican party

SUX

And in case you hadn't heard . . . .

Repelican

It is a term of approbation,

a proof,

derogatory in nature,

intended to shame and to ridicule

those who run for high office

upon a platform of lies before the whole world

and have not the decency to blush bright crimson.

they are reprehensible.

they are repulsive.

they are repellent.

they are

repelicans . . . .

.

repelicans

Whose a bigger fool- Republicans who think their party is about smaller governemnt, the constitution and less taxes?

Or Dems who think their party is about peace, helping the little guy, and holding coporatioins accountable?

I say you have to be a child to believe any of them...

[-] 1 points by JimBeam (152) 12 years ago

Perfect statement. Voting for any of them regarless of party is to vote to remain exactly where we are now. Dems will continue to do as much harm as Reps to this country.

[-] -1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

hchc - I dont ask anyone to believe any of them -
but I beseech - I demand - I require
that we all vote in such a way that ACTUALLY benefits our country
voting is not a time to childishly vent your anger
it may be a hold your nose moment
but if you can hold your nose and vote for the person that will damage America the least -
we wont get antother scalia-thomas-roberts and the affordable care act will not be revoked and GM will not be shut down

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

And that is exactly the type of thinking the people who fund both parties want us to believe in.

Thanks for clarifying that. I originally thought it had something to do with David Icke and his interdimensional reptilians theory. No joke. I met people at Occupy that brought that up.

They playing bad cop good cop

[+] -9 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

it is far more complicated than that. When you look at the voting record it becomes a little clearer.

Repelicans stand as a block against ending the bushite tax breaks for the one percent.

[-] 0 points by zoom6000 (430) from St Petersburg, FL 12 years ago

They are Republican corporation party lol

[+] -9 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

If you watch the movie Inside Job it becomes clear that a select few individuals engaged in a process designed to deregulate the financial industry - and they took over a decade getting it done.

Very clever bastards. And now we see the consequences, and it will be a long and difficult struggle to undo it - and that is just one issue.

One way is to protest right outside of the homes of lenders and investment bankers. The protests could be silent, or loud as hell - so long as there are no violations of the law.

Invest their own neighbors in the application of the rule of law as it pertains to fraud in the investment or lending industry . . .

But your god signed the NDAA. Or is that the republicans fault too?

[-] 0 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 12 years ago

And he wrote a signing statement that nullified it, made it unenforceable. Take your fear-mongering elsewhere.

[-] 0 points by JamesS89118 (646) from Las Vegas, NV 12 years ago

The fraker made a crib note in the margins of a law. That's the very definition of inept. The leader of the free world reduced to chicken scratches.

Only a 'community organizer' could be so pathetic.

epa1nter, I respect many of your comments but O is a coward. He did NOT submit healthcare and we got Obama-shit-care. He did NOT write the financial reform laws so we got the most corrupt institution in the world to write Dodd-Frank.

He refuses or doesn't understand recess appointments. Yet he's always on recess.

He had the Gaul to say "The Republicans won't play with me, so I'll just be over here doing presidential stuff and expect extra credit for doing so".

O has set healthcare back a decade in this country.

Reform? Change? Hope? WTF?

We better hope to the gods there's a third candidate or we all are going to be blowing red elephants next term.

[-] -1 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 12 years ago

I wouldn't argue with you about most of what you assert. I am no fan of the Big O.

But his signing of NDAA is causing a frenzy that is completely off the mark, considering that the signing statement de facto amends the law and eviscerates its enforcement.

(As to recess appointments, his recess has nothing to do with them, only congressional recesses do. Still, he has not taken advantage of them.)

[+] -10 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

that was absolutely priceless.

Have you checked to verify that clicking

  • reply

  • cancel

actually cycles a post to the top of the list?

It doesn't seem to work when I try it.

[+] -10 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

That is what I am doing now. I had pulled off your profile and started using those that you have listed.

[+] -10 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

leaving an actual comment does cycle the post to the top of the list of forum posts.

But when I hit

  • reply

  • cancel

I don't get the two minute warning before posting again, and the forum post does not get cycled to the top.

You?

Have you hit

  • reply

  • cancel

and then hit the forum link to verify that the post you canceled a reply to actually got cycled?

[+] -10 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I believe it is getting to the top, the first times I checked. I haven't checked for the past few. I am going to check now.

[+] -10 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

Apparently what Thrassy is doing is actually posting the comment, then hitting delete.

I don't think reply / cancel will do it.

[+] -10 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I am posting a comment then deleting it. Something silly like Okie dokie.

[+] -10 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

I haven't tried that - but it should work.

Unless we get the admin login and begin deleting the spam, and setting up filters to prevent future spam, there doesn't seem like a lot of point to it.

Because I have seen those - on TV.

But I haven't ever seen a FEMA camp . . . .

Zen, I enjoy how you infuse much humor and wisdom in every post.

Although I loathe repelicans, don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

they are by numbers 50 percent, and they are the dogs of the 1 percent. I hope they can be trained.

"training repelicans":
{say,, (R)s ..out loud and what comes from an (R)s ? }
I have a few friends who are strong (R)s
Their specific defense of their presidential choice ranges from concealed
racisim to :"I';m for Gingrich because the news media is against him:"
It is terrifying that such a large percentage of Americans are so blind.
I suspect it is also not wanting to work at coming up with a logical choice and the fact that these lemmings - by their very nature - and by their religious upbringing like to be told what to do and what t o think.
Consider torquemada - he did not light all of the fires - his lemmings did.
Consider hitler - he did not turn on the gas - his lemmings did.

[-] 1 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 12 years ago

fortunately there aren't many in my WA social circle. Sad that they were brainwashed by Reagan and Regan: "Capitalism: A Love Story" was on this morning. Great message, but Repelicans are brainwashed to hate the messenger, even if its in there own interest. I don't know if they're evil. Just inexperienced, though some who rule their party are evil. Much of them are in the military industrial system, I imagine. I don't know how to reach them either, except to conquer with kindness.

[+] -9 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

Cantor was on 60 Minutes this evening. He was clear that his policy is to provide incremental progress

and it is also clear that that incremental progress includes reducing the tax burden without paying down the debt.

Now how that makes any sense what so ever I just can't imagine.

the bastards are intent on breaking the government, and they should be held for sedition.

Well, you know - in my world view - I'd be happy to take some short cuts.

the bastards

[-] 0 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 12 years ago

I watched in disgust, but no surprises: Portrays himself as a regular joe the family guy, And he lies right on camera to the world, no conscience: a sold bodyguard and yes man for the wealthy. Number 1 objective: recall Cantor, as unfit for office.

[+] -9 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

What he is advocating

  • is self evident

  • sabotage of the government

  • through deliberately bad financial policy

  • it is willful - on his part, and on the part of those in Congress who support him

We should be able to construct an argument along those lines the NSA can get behind

and maybe then he and his friends can all have fatal car accidents

[-] 0 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 12 years ago

Here's a thought. the whole iowa republican caucas is determined with 120,000 people. what if it was an upset: a write in candidate: Rocky Anderson - Justice party. that would shake things up, get the issues on the table. If everyone called someone they know in Iowa, went to iowa, I heard you can show up and register right there, and wrote in an independent...or even there is that ex Louisiana governor, who wants money out of politics, but they didn't let him debate, but he's running...what if some out of nowhere guy ows guy won. Oh no, it's tomorrow night. Not much time to organize it.
