Would anyone be interested in creating a few pages here that are dedicated to soliciting ideas from the entire nation for upcoming actions?
Obviously, the traffic here is extremely slow, so there would have to be outside soliciting. We can break up the nation into territories, and spread the word via twitter/facebook, targeting local groups in said territory.

All I'm saying is that this site gets a ton of hits, and if you would rather keep this as an opinion page of mainstream politics than fine. I'm sure you know which one is me at this point (green shirt). The one doing that specific video is an interesting story though (one that I didnt bother to get all involved with). We livestreamed the last (with Kulecki, who did a lot of stuff with OT) one and Anita is the lead organizer for MTA in Tampa/St Pete, in the foreground. Feel free to get ahold of her and ask her how I feel about CU. She's a public figure, not hard to find.
We'll be back at it at the end of February, I'll give ya shout out.

Ancaps have one serious problem- somethings like medical technology are so expensive, have such a short lifespan, that to think a community can provide for this without community involvement is pretty naive.
Now how you go about this- taxes through local government, fundraising drives, etc is another topic. But it needs community.

hchcadvertising.com is not a pr firm. Its really not much of anything besides me doing some projects for some small businesses. Everyone can go there and find out for themselves. If it was more successful, perhaps I wouldnt be doing odd jobs like painting houses to make some extra cash.
Don't get me wrong, I like marketing. I like sitting down with people and figuring out a way to help them. I like creating fun ways to advertise for them. I like setting up partnerships, finding good causes to support, etc. And honestly, its part of the reason why Im good at the independent political organizing/actions- we've done some really fun and cool stuff. That and the fact Ive been through a lot of shit from the age of 15- well, lets see... prob about 3 years ago life finally started to make a shred of sense to me (I'm 33 now).

Who Rocky Anderson? Campaigning heavily? Come one, I respected this site and kept it off of it, despite some constant attempts to bring it up (like here for instance).
As far as campaigning- its tough when someone doesnt take more than $100 of donations. Everyone- myself- is doing it for free.
I'm all about creating change, and when election season comes around I'll do stuff for 3rd parties. Is it the most effective means? No. Is is almost giving the system validation? Yes. Do I do it because I think it may help to give some people who are on the edge the dose of reality they need to break from the lies? (The free and equal debate was a great eye opening experience for many who were watching). Yes.
Did we try to create a 3rd party platform speaking engagement at the RNC? Yes. Would I have appreciated Gary Johnson speaking there? Yes. Did I manage to get ahold of the Jill campaign and find Cheri was in town and get her in too? Yes. Nader being there would have been great too. Did they turn the entire city into a warzone and hence make it impossible? Yes.

JGriff has a good point. This website is strategic. People interested in occupy come here because it is the most headquarter seeming website. This site, especially this forum, is a major turn off. That's why these people are overflowing it with trolls, it's strategic.
Occupy should have a website that's actually productive. Such as a forum for mass problem solving that's moderated based on categories. Something that isn't controlled by google (talk about evil).
I am well aware of all of what you said. That being said, going forward, there isnt reason to think we cannot change that.
I'm hoping that the shuffling going around will include a re prioritization of this section, for organizing and local updates as opposed to everyone's own personal beliefs in their favorite and least liked politicians.
This domain name means something, and while traffic is certainly down everywhere (not just here), people not terribly familiar with what occupy was about/doing (prob around 90% of the nation) this will ultimately be one of the first place they check out.
