But is the configuration of the boxes similar
to something you have in your bathroom?
And what do you put in it?

Here is the 2010 tax return

"His return offers a partial snapshot of his vast personal fortune."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/documents/romney-2010-tax-return.html

All his 2011 tax return is going to show is that he is insanely rich, pays insanely low tax rates for how rich he is, gets insane write-offs... and this is already common knowledge.

Also unless you owe money to the government... you have up to 3 years to file a claim.... it might even be 4... I don't quite remember. I know that because I usually file my taxes a month "late."

I don't get why people focus on this issue. It's common knowledge Romney is an out of touch elitist... maybe you could spend your time talking about how Romney wants to start a war as soon as he takes office... or maybe that he doesn't believe in equal rights... or that he wants to deregulate the banks further which could cause more financial collapse... or that if he wins he will have the ability to assassinate Americans without evidence and command drone strikes. A Romney in power is a scary Romney.

Also I only suggest talking about other Romney problem issues because you post on Mitt and his 2011 tax returns on this forum all the time.

Romney is much worse than his 2011 tax returns. He is a warmonger. I'd be more concerned about who he wants to bomb over his 2011 taxes that expose nothing but what people already know about him..

I think people focus on it so much because he acts so damn guilty when it's brought up. It's probably as much "what are you hiding" as "how much did you pay."

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

He is damn guilty. lol

He probably just needs more time so his accountants can figure out more write-offs to bilk the government out of money... as well as have his campaign managers read over it and plan spin techniques for when he gets called out on it.

I doubt his 2011 taxes will be much different than his 2010 taxes.

Also where's the probe into his SEC filings back in his Bain era days?

They're working hard on it, for sure. I think it's also being used as a smoke screen, to bide his time, so he doesn't have to start talking about his stand on the big issues. Jobs, etc. Keep throwing out one distraction after another. Spitzer made a good point tonight after Romney brought the tax issue up again. The media had moved on to his VP pick, so why bring up the taxes again? Milk it, baby! Milk it!

Are there still journalists who will call - BS?

CNN Actually Fact-Checks A Politician; Hilarity Ensues

Soledad - YOU - GO - GIRL !!! Share some of that backbone around - there are many needy journalists. {:-])

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

If you watch MSNBC - you will see Rachel & Lawrence & Ed and others use the words LIE & LIAR on almost every show!

I have seen some of those - but this was a stellar moment.

  • And there are plenty of journalists that need to find a backbone.

I think he put 23 years together for McCain in '08 seems those should be available to the American people, since he was willing to show them to the Republican people, or are they not Americans.

I would like to see more about how you get the kind of returns he has gotten over two years with completely passive investments, people I know are lucky to get 2% and yet it looks like Romney is nailing over ten on a regular basis, maybe everyone trying to save for their retirements would like to know how to do that.

I think the big story here is how these Republicans that are trying to get all the Social Security money into the market would rather people not see how good people like Romney is at sucking it all up for his families trust funds, leaving yours to starve.
