We all exhibit these states of mind, though at some level it appears to be hard wired.

They are real, measurable differences.
How will they be using multi pronged marketing/PR to affect our behavior?
How will this knowledge be utilized?
Do you really think "they" haven't been manipulating all of us for decades already?
Giggle, giggle......There isn't enough room here to explain just how and how much "they" have done so.

I hardly see how starring at shit(fecal matter) for longer spans of time means you're more alert to threats. Maybe it means they are accustom to negativity or things that are unpleasant to say the least, so there is no repulsion to look away.
Though, this post is not nonpartisan lol. It reinforces the divide on a psychological level. It is none the less an interesting article and I think fun facts for both sides.
I found it nonpartisan as it dealt with the strengths and weaknesses inherent to both "sides".
The question remains as to who will be utilizing this information and for what purpose.
It could easily be put to nefarious uses.

It was very interesting. I especially found the fear factor bit illuminating. I have read a good bit of posts here about how things horrible, and not gonna get better, and that fear, defeatism, might indicate a more conservative persona.
