Where did the message get so screwed up? I keep reading about people claiming that we are after the wealth they worked so hard to achieve! No one is looking to take away anything from anyone! We just want the rampant corruption and greed that has permeated every aspect of government and business to come to an end...period! People need to just read this site very carefully and come to understand that no one is looking to take away anything from anyone who has worked honestly to achieve their goals/wealth.
Being rich or wealthy does not make you a target. I would not view Warren Buffet in the same way I view Paulson, Rubin, Dimon, etc. Those are the people that perpetuate the corruption and greed that strong armed the government into bailing their asses out of the mess they created.

I agree! I don't want anyone's wealth. I can buy my own big screen TV, which I did after saving up for it.There's just no reason for the government to bail out a company that spends it's bailout money on corporate retreats and fatcat bonuses while charging customers extra fees.

Correct, but we do want a FAIRER TAX SYSTEM. Even some billionaires have petitioned Obama to TAX THEM MORE. Wouldn't it be great if OWS published their names and congratulated them for "getting it"?
We need to raise the capital gains tax and the carried interest thing. That's how these non-productive financial system parasites make all their money.

They're using it as a weapon. It's on.
Basically they don't want to pay high taxes like they used to between 1950s and 1980s. They are afraid the government will tax them and redistribute that tax money among the poor. So they claim that the majority will tyrannize the minority rich by taxing them. They are very afraid bunch of people.
Most of them have handed over their money to Wallstreet and Wallstreet people cause destruction using rich people's money and make commissions and profit as a result. The rich are not entirely to blame.
The rich people + Wallstreet = Total destruction of economy.
