I've been on this site (by one name or another) since the beginning. But there really isn't much gloating over the whole repelican/conservative/right wing/filthy old white male defeat of the cause of all the worlds/ problems by the Left. Many of the regulars here worked for the democrats and Obama. So where are you? Your side won. Now lead us to utopia!
Are you sure that you didn't create an imaginary war with about 75% of the regulars?
There is no gloating, because there is nothing to gloat about, even for the folks (like me) who did vote for Obama. We know what Obama is, and know what Obama is not. There was no win or loss, but just a move in a much larger game. Plain and simple, for many of us a vote for Obama was not a vote in support of Obama or any of his policies, but rather just a cold hearted chess move.
Now that that ugly specter of election is over, we know there is a lot of real serious work ahead of us to truly change our political and economic system, and our Nation's policies for the better. Let's stop whining and complaining about "the other side", but rather let us get together, and get to work.

You're mistake perhaps is applying the nasty characteristic you conservatives exhibit to us.
And I met no one here "working for Dems". Most in fact acknowledge the Dem weakness of frequently supporting the conservative policies that are at the root of ALL our problems.
So Dems may have won, but we ALL must pressure ALL pols for change that benefits the 99%.
No time to gloat. No real reason to gloat. Definitely time to refocus our efforts on growing the movement, on anti foreclosure protests, on rolling jubilee, on Sandy suport, on greentech, on bankster prosecution, & so much more.
Gloating is too negative, We strive for positiveness.
And your inability to grasp that simple fact is why you fail.
Peace, open your mind, & your heart, your human family needs you now!
I suspect most people know we'll all be in bread lines soon. Not much to gloat about.
