Seems to me that the next rational step is a migration to the nations capital of 99ers from All across America. Something like the freedom rides with stops all along the way to plead our case to the people and beg for them to get involved. And a heavy emphasis on voter registration lets face it if 99% of Americans actually voted we would not have the inequality we have today.

Im definitely all for Capital Hill. Our legislatures are supposed to be how the 99% protects itself from wrong doing. In the constitution we are guaranteed a "republican form of government," decisions are supposed to be made by representation, not with money. I like to think of it like this. If someones walking their dog down the street and it bites you, its hardly the dogs fault. Its an animal. Its acting in its nature. You get pissed at the guy holding the leash. In this case congress. Its congresses job to muzzle Wall St. Lets pressure them to do it.

The center of all decisions lies in Congress on DC. The one who controls the Congress controls the country.

Right now, Congress is controled by Wall Street. This means Wall Street has ruling voice in country affairs. Thus any decision taken by a public servant in America is subject to wall street interests: police, army, intelligence, health, white house, education have to abide by it.

Wall Steet sees OWS as a threat and it will not hesitate to eliminate it. The only way for OWS to win this war is to take over the Congress.

It's pretty clear, this failed system has everyone talking. A lot of people I know don't have enough of anything. Losing their homes and not able to find work. I realize change has to start someplace. However, it seems we engage in trying to create a new path by using an old model. At some point this movement will eat its own and become something a shade different then what it started out as. Still, I put my hopes in the streets no matter how nutty it gets. I'm all for marching to D.C.

To be taken serious in DC you need at least 100,000 protestors. The tea party had 200 - 800,000

The focus is still Wall Street. The greedy Bank Executives are not in Washington DC. By bringing these crooks to account, it will make Washington's task of sorting out the mess easier.

Bring down the guys in DC protecting them and they will run like roaches in the light.

The Banks are not run by Washington. They are run by the Chairman of the Bank. Tell the Chairman that we don't like what his greedy Bank Executives are doing. Tell him they are not worth the 30 billion or so he is paying them, just in bonuses. Senior Bank people used to work for about $100,000 per year. Why can't they now? OWS wants to know. We used to have Assistant Managers of Banks with 100 or so staff. Now there are Vice Presidents, some of whom only have 50 staff working for them. The Banks have promoted these jerks so they can get filthy rich. The Occupy Movement has arrived to stop these greedy corrupt shirkers.

As citizens there is already a system in place for us to control the banks the problem is we dont really control that system. Even the tame finance laws that are passed are being unfunded by congress. Finance laws need to be strengthen and enforced. That's how the greedy bankers get away with their tricks. They have been able to stop and weaken oversight.

Laws don't work. These crafty charlatans pay Chartered Accountants and Tax Evasion Lawyers fat fees to get around them. Of course these fees are peanuts compared with their greedy Christmas Bonuses, which the gloat over when the poor 99% freezes in the cold.

By the way, they are not Bankers.

Bankers are honourable people who put up their own capital and are the owners of the Bank. These charlatans, the Bank Executives are merely employees who con the owners into giving them large bonuses for doing pratically nothing but working out how they can steal more and more from the Customers and Stockholders.

Then loop holes need to be closed and they only way to close them is find out what they are and have legislation written to close them. Eliminating tax break. Tax investor profits at the same rates that we tax income. All this can be done through our legislative system If we take control of that system.

What difference does it make how many people vote when the candidates are all pawns of wealthy contributors anyway? Politicians need to be called out on the policies they support on behalf of their wealthy campaign contributors. This is where efforts like wikileaks would be better focused - exposing pols who serve wealthy campaign contributor's interests rather than those of their constituency.

the candidates respond only to votes. Voting means the power to replace idiots we don't like. We Never should have had bush, and we should have replaced him when we saw how stupid he really was. I agree with you though we need to look at what these guys are doing call them out for it. Call out all the laws that have lead to the distribution of wealth problems that exist and change those law. But if we dont vote more we will no have the power to fix this mess. We can fix it but we must take over government with out votes. This is Lybia we can change who call the shots in our Nation NOv 2012.

Visit these two companies

http://occupywallst.org/forum/toshiba-is-raping-the-poor/

Toshiba uses UPS to help them commit warranty fraud by having you ship your damaged computer to Toshiba. Toshiba receives the computer and says the damage is not covered under warranty and if you question them, Toshiba says UPS did an investigation and determined you shipped the computer damaged. You call UPS and they say they have no record of a damage report but will not send you and written documentation. If you press UPS hard enough, Jamie Rogers of Legal will send you a generic letter saying they have no record of a damage report. If you try to contact Jamie Rogers, you can't because she is always out of the office and never returns calls.

UPS 55 Glenlake Parkway, NE Atlanta, GA 30328 404-828-4900

You should call UPS and ask to speak to Teri Plummer McClure. You can say Jamie Rogers knows Toshiba is using UPS' name to commit warranty fraud and she isn't doing anything about it. What are you going to do Terri?
