We know they worship money and the means to make it, let's put up a mirror and show them how ridiculous their greed looks to the rest of us.

On Sunday Morning gather around the bull for a 'Worship Service'.

Chant:

I sell my soul for the all mighty dollar I sell my brother for the all mighty dollar I sell my mother for the all mighty dollar I sell you for the all mighty dollar

Sacrifice a virgin?

Put on a good show, you can do it, it's NY for Christ's sake.

I actually think this is a pretty good idea. My only concern is that some people don't understand satire. Some people think, for instance, that Steven Colbert is Republican Right Wing talk show host.

Perhaps the signs would have to be really "obvious". So people are not confused. And think we are talking about wealth redistribution, ya know?

Well, if you could get a writer from SNL or the Daily show, that would help. I would recommend you keep it as campy and ridiculous as possible. Have an audience. Pause for laughter. You know. There should be some talent down there.

Someone write a sermon. About the same amount of time as the intro bit on SNL,..3-3 1/2 minutes. Preach a sermon how,..'Greed id Good'. You know that one. Write a funny benediction. (Here's a bit,..."We should get rid of the minimum wage,..hey,..it's working in Mexico,..am I right people?" lol,..hahaha

How about: "Hey, would you rather be Lewinskied, or Bernanked?"...

You can do it. Your OWS, your New York City,...

I'm so proud, I'm gonna plotz.

Do you think the CEO's of the banks and the guys running the sock market care about a bunch of dorks doing performance art next to a bull? That's going to be the catalyst for change? This movement is going nowhere, fast.

and that will accomplish what exactly?

It's just another form of protest. Performance art and civil disobedience to get a point across to the people who don't understand.

I think the only point you'll get across is that you're very strange to say the least.

They already think we're strange. Seriously, guys riding stationary bikes, echoing, drums and twinkling fingers. Does it really matter anymore??

Wow. These ideas and tactics are really making huge changes in our Constitution and financial system. How do you come up with these highly effective plans? That has to work.

They DO worship money, or if you prefer, MAMMON, the god of money that Jesus refers to in the Gospels. "In Greed we Trust"!

I didn't mean to inject any religion into the the movement. By all means, we should be tolerant of all beliefs and even the lack thereof. I am agnostic myself, but I like I am sure most people in this country are at least somewhat aware of this story of the Israelites. There may or may not be historical fact, it may be mostly embelished parable, and most people can live with that. But, even I recognize the universal understanding of the story.

I would hope it would use a forum and method people can relate to to tell the story. People will get it through it's absurdity.
