Well the "right" wing WAR on public school teachers and their unions, has temporarily halted, not even Rush himself has used the term THUG to describe them lately.
Even that bastion of hate FLAKESnews has laid off, in favor of other forms of lunacy, like suggesting they should all be armed, although I'm sure they don't want to pay for the arms nor the constant training it takes stay proficient in their use..
No, we should NEVER forget the lives of those union teachers and the next time the ALEC attacks them we should be strong in our support for these teachers that gave their lives.
Because you know in your heart, the next time the corporations want to attack teachers unions they will completely ignore the facts, once again.

Unions or not, what are we going to do about the schools? They are horrible. Ive seen plenty of stats that say we are sub 20 on the global scale.
Start by firing the Texas school board.
Then completely cut all funding to any school teaching creationism or the whole anti-global warming agenda.
Get that done, then let's see where we are at.
Also DEMAND full support of public schools at State and Federal levels.
And for Christ's sake DEMAND support for teachers unions.

I would make the school system completely horizontal like OWS, with no interference from the globalists in DC whatsoever. I would raise teacher pay and make standardized tests at the beginning of the year, as a measure, not as a means to get programmed teachers for the year.
If the Texas school board is still supplying the books you'll be even dumber.
