Hillary’s Secret War by Andrew P. Napolitano, July 02, 2015

I am often asked by colleagues to review and explain documents and statutes. Recently, in conjunction with my colleagues Catherine Herridge, our chief intelligence correspondent, and Pamela Browne, our senior executive producer, I read the transcripts of an interview Browne did with a man named Marc Turi, and Herridge asked me to review emails to and from State Department and congressional officials during the years when Hillary Clinton was the secretary of state.

What I saw has persuaded me beyond a reasonable doubt and to a moral certainty that Clinton provided material assistance to terrorists and lied to Congress in a venue where the law required her to be truthful. Here is the backstory.

Turi is a lawfully licensed American arms dealer. In 2011, he applied to the Departments of State and Treasury for approvals to sell arms to the government of Qatar. Qatar is a small Middle Eastern country whose government is so entwined with the U.S. government that it almost always will do what American government officials ask of it.

In its efforts to keep arms from countries and groups that might harm Americans and American interests, Congress has authorized the Departments of State and Treasury to be arms gatekeepers. They can declare a country or group to be a terrorist organization, in which case selling or facilitating the sale of arms to them is a felony. They also can license dealers to sell.

Turi sold hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of arms to the government of Qatar, which then, at the request of American government officials, were sold, bartered or given to rebel groups in Libya and Syria. Some of the groups that received the arms were on the U.S. terror list. Thus, the same State and Treasury Departments that licensed the sales also prohibited them.

How could that be?

That’s where Clinton’s secret State Department and her secret war come in. Because Clinton used her husband’s computer server for all of her email traffic while she was the secretary of state, a violation of three federal laws, few in the State Department outside her inner circle knew what she was up to.

Now we know.

She obtained permission from President Obama and consent from congressional leaders in both houses of Congress and in both parties to arm rebels in Syria and Libya in an effort to overthrow the governments of those countries.

Many of the rebels Clinton armed, using the weapons lawfully sold to Qatar by Turi and others, were terrorist groups who are our sworn enemies. There was no congressional declaration of war, no congressional vote, no congressional knowledge beyond fewer than a dozen members, and no federal statute that authorized this.

When Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., asked Clinton at a public hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Jan. 23, 2013, whether she knew about American arms shipped to the Middle East, to Turkey or to any other country, she denied any knowledge. It is unclear whether she was under oath at the time, but that is legally irrelevant. The obligation to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth to Congress pertains to all witnesses who testify before congressional committees, whether an oath has been administered or not. (Just ask Roger Clemens, who was twice prosecuted for misleading Congress about the contents of his urine while not under oath. He was acquitted.)

Here is her relevant testimony.

Paul: My question is … is the U.S. involved with any procuring of weapons, transfer of weapons … buying, selling … anyhow transferring weapons to Turkey … out of Libya?

Clinton: To Turkey? … I will have to take that question for the record. Nobody’s ever raised that with me. I, I…

Paul: It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that they may have weapons … and what I’d like to know is … the (Benghazi) annex that was close by… Were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons … and were any of these weapons transferred to other countries … any countries, Turkey included?

Clinton: Senator, you will have to direct that question to the agency that ran the (Benghazi) annex. And I will see what information is available and … ahhhh…

Paul: You are saying you don’t know…

Clinton: I do not know. I don’t have any information on that.

At the time that Clinton denied knowledge of the arms shipments, she and her State Department political designee Andrew Shapiro had authorized thousands of shipments of billions of dollars’ worth of arms to U.S. enemies to fight her secret war. Among the casualties of her war were U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three colleagues, who were assassinated at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, by rebels Clinton armed with American military hardware in violation of American law.

This secret war and the criminal behavior that animated it was the product of conspirators in the White House, the State Department, the Treasury Department, the Justice Department, the CIA and a tight-knit group of members of Congress. Their conspiracy has now unraveled. Where is the outrage among the balance of Congress?

Hillary Clinton lied to Congress, gave arms to terrorists and destroyed her emails. How much longer can she hide the truth? How much longer can her lawlessness go unchallenged and unprosecuted? Does she really think the American voters will overlook her criminal behavior and put her in the White House where she can pardon herself?

It will be incredible to watch how many so-called liberals endorse a proven wall st war criminal over someone else who at this point is only a likely one.

"We'll take the proven sociopath over the lunatic businessman."

What an absolute joke of a system.

to You Hag Haters, do you call men by such demeaning names? Of course not. What is not being stated in this article is the fact that Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, are all in NATO and allies of the U.S. Hillary Clinton was just the SOS during these times, the real problem is that Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are our allies yet they have seem to sympathies with some of our alleged biggest enemies, such as ISIS, Al Queda, Nusra, you name it. The one conspiracy theory I have heard that I find interesting is that anytime there is challenge to the U.S. dollar as the exchange currency of the world, the U.S. hunkers down with its allies to destabilize the region that is attempting to dethrone the dollar. It's an interesting theory and makes it somewhat futile to try and lay the blame at one person's feet.

Of course the Hag just a Hatchet Lady for the real king pins who are bankrolling her, but a hatchet lady (or rather hatchet bitch) the last thing we need to have in the white house.

Keep in mind the Hag along with her Hubby have been instrumental in helping the rise of the 0.1% in the U.S. to the demise of all the people in the rest of the world, creating war, loss of jobs and all kinds of other strife in the world. Do not let these creatures wearing people suits fool you; they are nothing but coagulations of psychotic proteins.

As far as the name calling goes, there is nothing wrong with giving public entities doing evil well deserved, descriptive fitting names for getting people's attention to avoid making a big mistake on voting day.

How long will Obama and the military command go uncharged for war crimes in the blatant killing of innocent civilians (also referred to as collateral damage) in the pursuit and prosecution of the drone war on terror (or is that the drone war OF TERROR ?). And yes this does not start with the Obama administration but it does continue under it.

I understand Trump said that if he is elected, he'd have the Hag put in jail. Wow! Good reason to go to the polls and vote for Trump next November. Maybe he'll get Obama and Bush too,,, along with Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and the rest of the Wall Street/Washington crime gamg.

Here's another viewpoint...http://www.willhillarywin.com/2015/07/02/5-things-we-learned-from-hillarys-emails/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=FeedPress&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+our-view+%28Will+Hillary+Win%29

Need something to read over the holiday weekend? Well, you’re in luck as there’s a new batch of Hillary’s emails that was just released by the State Department.

On June 30th, the State Department released batch one of Hillary Clinton’s emails. While 23 words were marked “secret” and handed over to the F.B.I., the other 3,000 pages are available to the public. Dig in and you’ll find a close personal view of HRC following her day-to-day life as she traverses the challenges of Secretary of State.

Some parts are mundane, others funny, informative, or revealing. There is certainly a lot to be gleaned from the stockpile of correspondence in the days and months to come but after reviewing the data dump here are 5 things we learned.

  1. Offices everywhere are the same.

It doesn’t matter if you are a low-level intern or the Secretary of State – there are some days when the struggle is real. From her apparent lack of a printer to missing memos on cancelled meetings, there is no one who understands this better than HRC. Seriously though, who hasn’t had an epic battle with a fax machine on hump day?

  1. Hillary is a (gasp!) person.

Whether you love Hillary or hate her, there is no question that she is a famous and respected figure around the world. She has a superstar quality that no other politician can match and, as a result, she often seems larger than life.

However, the emails reveal a very different side of her life. She gets thirsty and wants an iced tea. She’s nervous about not being included in the right meetings. She has inside jokes with close friends. Hillary might be former First Lady, New York Senator, Secretary of State, and future POTUS, but she’s still a person, just like the rest of us.

  1. Huma Abedin is unbelievably badass.

For two decades, the name Huma Abedin has been synonymous with Hillary Clinton, but just how close are they? The answer – VERY. From holding meetings on her behalf to juggling a busy schedule, Huma sees it all. One email from Hillary to her aide even reads, “Just knock on the bedroom door if it’s closed.” As Michael Feldman, former advisor to Al Gore, explained, Hillary’s 2016 campaign is only expanding Huma’s role:

At this point, Huma’s role is so important that they are now baking that into the process of the campaign. She provides the judgement, perspective, and institutional memory that literally can’t be replicated. When you have someone who can be a surrogate not just externally, but internally, that saves a lot of time. It becomes a glue that holds things together.

  1. We can expect to see more of Sidney Blumenthal.

Sidney Blumenthal was an aide to President Bill Clinton, but his connection to Hillary didn’t end there. Although she was unable to get him a job alongside her at the State Department, they corresponded frequently. While his advice was “unsolicited,” he provided Hillary with everything from speaking points to insight on foreign affairs. It’s clear from the emails that Hillary not only trusts Blumenthal but enjoys his company – no doubt, we’ll be seeing more of him as her campaign progresses.

  1. Hillary knew exactly what she was doing when she asked that her emails go public.

While the G.O.P. thought the release of Hillary’s emails would be damaging, the exact opposite has been true. She asked time and time again for the State Department to make her emails public, and it’s no small wonder. As long as you search and scan the emails, there is nothing to be found but a hardworking woman, fighting for a better America.

So, if you have some spare time as we celebrate the birth of our country, take a peek. Never before have we had such an in-depth look into a politician’s life, but then again, there’s never been anyone quite like Hillary.

The Hag Hillary is but a prostitute for the wall street 1%.

a two dollar street hooker is worth more.

This is just not true. Hillary Clinton lost the 2008 democrat nomination because Wall Street wanted Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton was against parallel foreclosure, Barack Obama looked the other way as over a million homeowners were foreclosed upon. And Bernie Sanders, he doesn't even know what parallel foreclosure is. lol.

Why are you such a minion for the progressives and neo cons? the use of the word HAG, what equivalent word do you use for males, you misogynist weiner. Republicans simply IGNORE their congressional subpoenas, so to allow a republican to excoriate any democrat becomes meaningless as does trying to validate on this site.
