As Im sitting here, home, hung over as all hell ( It's football season honey!!) trying to watch TV......being bombared by campaign ads......

A poster here always wants to know my positions on Florida. Even though I've broken it down before, lets do it again.

It can be summed up in four words. The system is fucked.

Kathy Castor, is an absolute disaster. Who in their right mind would vote no on auditing the Fed? She's a Dem. Total waste of space, and ultimately run by criminals further up the ladder.

Rick Scott? Total disaster. Ads claiming he's helping the education system. He's not. He's part of the problem. Get the fuck off my TV Scott. He's a Republican. Total waste of space, and ultimately run by criminals further up the ladder.

Bill Nelson (D) vs. Connie Mack (R). Two morons battling it out on TV. Total smear campaign on each side. Nelson is an establishment hack, voted for the right for the gov to kidnap whoever it wants with no rights. What a piece of crap. Mack would be no better. Two idiots who are ultimately run by criminals further up the ladder.

Bob Buckhorn and the entire City Council. All Dems. What a spineless group this is. Talk about pandering to the criminals up top. The RNC was an absolute disaster, total hack job of organizing. Total failure. Now they are saying they aren't taking down the cameras from the convention, all 60 of em. Fuckin shocking. All useless pawns in a corrupted, money driven system.

You will never be happy with your reps because they don't have the power to do anything. In order to change anything, you have to get the people who disagree with you to change their mind - that is an impossible task!

In order to implement Left policies, you need to get the Right to go along with it and vice versa. Since the Right is never going to implement Left policies and the Left is never going to implement Right policies, nothing changes.

There is a better way.

Instead of trying to convince your ideological opposite to adopt your policies, what we should do is just tell your ideological opponent that they can have everything they want if they allow you to have everything you want.

Instead of having one monolithic system that everyone has to agree on, what we should have are multiple systems to satisfy our multiple ideologies.

The Right, Left and Center should each get their own economic system.

This would work just like medical insurance plans work. Each business will decide which Plan they want to join. And then each Plan would compete against each other for your membership.

You will now freely decide which Economic Plan you want to participate in. And when you sign up to an Economic Plan, you will work and shop at the companies that are part of your Economic Plan, just like how medical insurance plans work.

So if you want Left economic policies, now all you need to do is join the Left Economic Plan. You no longer have to convince the Right to adopt Left policies.

.

EVERYONE WINS

This is the only rational, sensible way to organize society. Everyone wins. The Right gets what they want. The Center gets what they want. And the Left gets what they want.

Forcing Republicans to live in a Democrat system or vice versa serves no useful purpose whatsoever. It is tyrannical and just causes conflict.

Monopolies do not work. Freedom of choice and competition works.

When we adopt this, nearly all of society's problems will come to an end. There will be no unemployment or poverty or financial struggle, which are the root cause of nearly every problem in society. Because when a Plan has to actually compete against other Plans for your membership, that competition will force them to make sure their system truly delivers the highest standard of living for its members.

.

IMPLEMENTING

Since most people are currently not getting what they want, and most people never will get their ideal society, I think it would be very easy to get most people to back this plan. Because this finally enables them to get the ideal society they want.

So we should be able to build a large enough coalition to get this idea implemented.

To enact this idea, the federal government would just set the rules for starting an Economic Plan (perhaps a ballot initiative that gets a minimum amount of votes since an economic system needs a minimum amount of people in order for it to be viable which would likely be 10-20% of the population) and then officially charter that Plan by giving it its own central bank.

The federal government would then get out of the economy entirely. It would now only provide a common justice system that protects life and property and enforces contracts.

if interested, you can read more about this idea here.

Not only will this actually solve nearly all of society's problems, it is something we can actually get nearly everyone to agree on.

So that pretty much sums up Fl. And Im guessing it pretty much sums up your state too.

Is there a point in trying to work within a system that is dominated by two money grubbing parties?

Yep that pretty much sums it up.
