Clintons backing & appearances failed the majority of Democrats running for office.....................................failed absolutely !!!

Even in the Clintons home state of Arkansas they failed, they failed again in Kentucky, again in Colorado, again in Massachusetts, etc, etc.

It is the "Absolute Time" to move past the Old Political images and personalities of the past.....the Nation has shown before they don't
want them not in 2008 nor in the future, 2016. It is the absolute time to move forward with the "Next Generation" ....let them Lead.

Their failure the Clinton's .. where of ethics .. "the Blue Dress" The "White Water Real Estate Scandal" were individuals died or went to prison. Their sell-out to the George HW Bush factions in Jackson Hole WY in the Summer of 1995. Clinton signed in 1999 the "Financial Services Modernization Act" destroying the Glass-Steagal Act....which protected our financial banking systems, then Clinton failed to carry out any oversight of the Act he signed, which was written by GHW Bush crony Tex. Senator Gramm. Again Clinton in March of 2000, the then Chairman of Goldman-Sachs Henry Paulson illegally defrauded billions from his Small to Mid. Cap. Investors when he, Henry Paulson and other executives at Goldman-Sachs and Top Investors "got out from the TOP".....we watched Paulson do this over a 3 day period....his goal to assist GW Bush ascend to power .... in political terms .... "leveling the political playing field" by destroying the Tech Boom economy thus the Economy for Gore, Clinton failed to prosecute Paulson, Goldman-Sachs,etc. Even the S.E.C. Chairman under the Clinton,Arthur Levitt sold out and failed to prosecute Paulson. Both Clinton and Levitt had 9 months from March of 2000 to launch an investigation, leading to the prosecution of Paulson-Goldman-Sachs, Merrill Lynch and even Charles Schwab himself, but both Clinton and Levitt failed to Protect Our Nation. Then Hillary Clinton failed to win her own party's nomination in 2008. As Senator failed to demand the prosecution of the Bank HSBC for in-powering global Drug Cartels through illegal money laundering...thus leading to deaths of thousands in the U.S. by drug cartels and over 40,000 deaths in Mexico....Senator Hillary Clinton did nothing to stop any of it or to convict The Banks Owners (the Windsors), Directors or Managers....Matt Taibbi of the magazine "Rollingstone" stated in his article about the Racketeering by HSBC that HSBC's cut of Drug Cartel money laundering was 20%, an estimated $200 billion. Yet Senator Hillary Clinton did nothing, Obama did nothing.....criminal corruption, criminal negligence, criminal racketeering on a global scale and nothing.....!

It is way past time to end the Clinton B.S. and their great buddy's George HW Bush...as well...together these Families can be tied to Why We are as a Nation Where We are Today..... Corruption, Violence, Financial Failure, Ethics Failure, the largest continuing poverty rate in U.S. History........to have the Clintons in the White House would be a disaster.

The Clintons didn't fail, they're just getting away with it...

Time to dislodge these creeps and creeps like them from the democratic party, and politics in general.

We are intoxicating ourselves as a society with the concept of extreme personal wealth and then asking our elected representatives to somehow rise above the corrupt influence.

Don't praise the rich. Don't forgive the rich. Don't try to become rich.

The concept of extreme personal wealth must be made socially unacceptable.

No? You want to keep making excuses for certain public figures?

Ok then. Forget about reform and start apologizing to your kids.

The Greater Depression will be underway by 2020.

Administration closing Obamacare hospitalization coverage loophole

Yes the ACA is so much less than what it could be - but I found this article interesting for that very same reason. BTW - I have a nephew in florida that would not have any sort of coverage - if not for the ACA.

I was all for ACA, and still am in principle, until it hit me personnallly. I used to have 100% no questions asked "gold plated" health care from the company I worked for, until, as I understand it, some ultra-liberals, of all people, started complaining that gold plated plans for some and not for everybody is "unfair" (please keep in mind I was also paying gold plated premiums,) and sought to eliminate tax incentives to those companies that offered gold plated plans to their employees. So with the tax incentives gone, so gone too where the gold plate plans. I ended up witth the "standard" plan; the problem being the high deductables (like $10k+ for me.) With these standard plans, if one gets sick only once in a while, one ends up paying a good chunk of the bill because of the high deductable, but (here comes the kicker) if one really gets seriously sick, although the insurance picks up most of the tab, the part one still pays (unless one is really loaded) is enough over time to financially wipe you out! (Imagine having to pay $10k+ for a number of years when one is out sick not working.) One may as well not have any insurance whatsoever.

As for yor nephew, kudos for him, but I bet he has some high deductable too which will put him under if he really gets sick. He was probably better off without insurance and going to the emergency room .There he could throw his hands up, and put himself to the mercy of the Docs who would then not take his very last dime.

I wonder where those gold plated premiums I was paying all those years while I was young and healthy disappeared to?

BTW - my nephew has an auto-immune disease where his marrow has stopped making red blood cells - he is receiving treatment for a pre-existing condition that He couldn't afford coverage for before.

[-] 2 points by Shule (2638) 9 years ago

i wish your nephew my best. Sounds like he was one a the few fortunate ones that benefited some. I hope he has better coverage than I 'cause otherwise the payments will eventually catch up to him.

That is why the ACA needs to be improved/strengthened/expanded And the private insurance business reigned in or done away with. To much money being taken out ( exec pay - off-shore hoards ) and not enough put to work.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 9 years ago

That is good to hear. The entire thing wasn't bad, just most of it, and unfortunately, I fear that with insurance companies more empowered than ever now, the rates for preexisting will start to creep up sharply soon, as everyone's else has been for some time.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Yes the ACA as it currently is - is not very good - but it has been established - and now can be made better - this includes making changes to private public providers and how they run their business.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 9 years ago

Its managable on a small, decentralized level. But to put some organization in charge of managing 300 million people is a near impossible task.

[-] 3 points by Shule (2638) 9 years ago

I don't care how its done. I just want some no joke health care.

Up to about five years ago I was 100% covered. (So I know it can be done.) Now I'm getting screwed.

Ya, I got a letter that my coverage that I pay for is being ended, but Im lucky because they have "a ton of great plans to choose from" ... a bunch of shit I dont need.

Gotta love how the fascist model works.

People have noticed the Clinton association with problem politicians and reversals of campaign promises is the proverbial tip of the iceberg. It's what you DON'T see....
