The same old, tired stuff recycled continuously-no innovation, same old attacks on those who are least able to defend themselves, bullying, bravado, lies and denial. They are stupid, cowardly and clueless. And just a little less than half the American voters are their loyal supporters. The only people who benefit from Republican policies would number only about 1.5 million so I can't understand why they still get millions of votes in every election, including the TP victories in the last midterm Congressional elections which have done nothing but terrible harm with no benefit of any kind.As the middle class shrinks and shrinks, they keep on voting for the party which is far more aggressively against them.(???????)

Just in: Advisers to the Romney campaign have announced that his administration will create a new cabinet level position of Gun Affairs to be headed by George Zimmerman.

The new Gun Affairs department will not increase the deficit since it will be placed in the open building to be vacated by the old Department of Education. Responsibilities of the new department will be managing the anticipated spike in mass shootings by crazed unemployed racist PTSD whackos in the new economy. Spokespeople for the campaign are touting this creative development which is designed to make the best of unfortunate circumstances.

Mr. Zimmerman commented, "Too much has been made of the tragic side of these shootings. We intend to see that the shootings become a positive side of the New America, sad events that bring us together, to honor the heroism of those who die so that white men don't have to sacrifice their phallic symbols."

Rise to the challenge. It's only superficially boring. Can you do justice to the absurdity, the corporate globalist leading the small town yokels down the very path that will dissolve their treasured past fastest?

Allow me a suggestion or 2. Watch with the sound off, the gestures, the background, the pacing.

Let the ideas fade and watch for the gendered understory, the spontaneous phoniness. First Ladies are one of the great unexplored topics in American life.

Specialize in the measured fake neutrality of the network presenters. Did you ever read White Noise?

There is a rather large difficulty with writing fake satirical news items for the internet. It is actually difficult to come up with a narrative so absurd that people would be immediately aware that it is a fabrication-and this is especially true when the subject is Democrats&Republicans. Many a great piece has had to be held back because it it might be believed to be true and turn into a Wild Internet Rumor which could end up causing harm.I have to admit a certain fascination with Ann Romney's relationship with Rafalco and I hope to come up with a suitably outlandish narrative on that soon.

In Raleigh, the NC Supreme Court ruled that the state had to extend a program for subsidized pre-school for needy 4 year olds. The repubs predictably went on a 'nanny state' rant and I pretended to join them by posting (on the daily paper - News and Observer) comments to the effect that these endless welfare programs wasted on multi-cultural indoctrination were bankrupting the country, undermining the military, and causing our boys serving overseas to do without needed equipment. Al Qaeda was the direct beneficiary of wasting money on pathetic babies, all on the poor excuse that these babies are the future. Well I hope you liberals are happy when Al Qaeda has us living under Sharia Law and Santa Claus is banned.

For that I got banned. I'm still not sure whether it was because they thought I was serious about Al Qaeda taking over or whether it was because they knew I was ridiculing the austerity mind set.

Tea Party Activists Brawl With Striking Workers At Ball Game-A brawl had to be broken up by police today at the Jonas Bragg Memorial Ball Park in Durnton,Ohio.According to witnesses,a group of striking workers from Pinchnutte Abrasive became enraged when they were showered with a foul smelling, yellow liquid from somewhere above them in the bleachers during the third inning of a baseball game in progress at the time. They accused a group of Tea Partiers seated in the upper tier of the bleachers of urinating on them.According to the witnesses' accounts of the incident, the fight broke out when the Tea Partiers loudly denied urinating on the workers and told them it was raining. One of the accused Tea Partiers,Ted Buttkopf, stated,"We never told them it was raining." Samples of the liquid were collected by police for testing. The workers at Pinchnutte recently went out on strike after contract negotiations that have been ongoing since 2003 collapsed.

I think Americans are like horribly spoiled two year old children. When they can't have something they want, they will pitch The Mother Of All Temper Tantrums.Wait and see.

Where in process of spoiling a child does it acquire the callus temerity to insult 300 million people?

Obama has been in office fot 3.5 years and do you really think the eonomy has improved.

I mean give me a break - 15 million people still looking for work - over 8% unemployment, no jobs to speak of and still lots of uncertainty when it comes to businesses wanting to expand.

How will he change that in another 4 years - he won't because he didn't know how for the first 3.5 years.

Did he take Brain pills to make him smarter - what has he really done to show that he knows how to improve the economy other then speak the same rheotric he has been speaking when he was running for office.

Anti Obama partisanship!

So...

Pres Obamas policies created almost 5 million jobs. As soon as his recovery plan (watered down by your repubs) passed we went from losing 750K jobs to job creation.

Recovery has only been weak because your repubs have obstructed every Dem policy to create jobs.

So yeah the economy is much better than Bushes great recession and would be better if we replace some anti OWS conservatives with pro OWS progressives.
