Poor people depend on the honesty and generosity of we rich people to pay taxes. If taxes are raised, we will simply under report income, and there isnt a thing that can be done.

Hey dumbass rich goof, answer this: are you in the 1%? Do you really think so, cause I doubt they would spend time here.

I can't believe this guy thinks 99% of the population fuct up. This isn't rich vs poor, it's 99 vs 1, and he doesn't even know what side he's on.

[-] 6 points by beautifulworld (23769) 11 years ago

Right. It is actually the rich that depend on and exploit and steal from the poor and middle class.

[-] 0 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

51% fucked up. You arent too sharp with math. I pity you.

[-] 2 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 11 years ago

What math? All I calculated is that you are a goof and in denial like a huge number of comfortable 99ers.

[-] 4 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Well, here is the deal, you want all of the rights but none of the responsibilities. GTFO. Really.

Pack your shit up and GTFO. Nobody is asking you to do anything more than what has been done before. If you can't handle it then go to some other country where they might be persuaded to treat your ass like royalty. You can pose for the paparazzi. People will fawn over you and yours. I doubt very seriously that you are rich.

[-] 4 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Amen to that GirlFriday.

TR_oll is burning up inside with the knowledge that he's got another four years to worry about that five hundred bucks he's got stashed in the hollow log down by the duck run.

No way is he gonna tell anyone about that money. He's just gonna look that welfare man in the eye, and keep right on lying about it. Shoot, it's worked before.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

I actually laughed out loud.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Eggsellent.

I can go to bed feeling like I've achieved something worthwhile.

LOL. ( I laughed out loud writing it.)

[-] 4 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

What difference to your taxes would a smaller military make? What proportion of your taxes goes on the massive war machine? How much of your taxes went to bail out the banks? And never lose sight that it is the rich who depend on the poor!

[-] -2 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

How do the rich depend on the poor?

[-] 8 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

In the same way that a tapeworm depends on a host!

[-] 5 points by Buttercup (1067) 11 years ago

The rich depend on the masses to eat their supply side, trickle down, the wealthy are the job creators bullshit, that enabled their tax rates to get so low in the first place. I don't know where you're at on the economic scale. Don't know. Don't care. But yeah, you're clearly brain fucked.

[-] 3 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 11 years ago

Sick. Try being without your wealth for a day. Think you are in the 1%? If not, you're one of us and in denial. Police are all, every single one of them, in the 99%. You're a fool.

[-] 3 points by Buttercup (1067) 11 years ago

So if you don't like your tax rate, you'll just cheat? You're one sick bastard aren'tcha.

Actually you're wrong. Don't worry. Poor people don't need you. The country doesn't need you. We've identified the problem and it's you. Crawl back under your rock.

[-] -2 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

Yes, I will cheat if I judge the burden unfair and there isnt a thing you can do. You absolutely depend in my honesty and the honesty of all affluent people.

I pay $2520 per month in taxes plus another $20000/ quarter for estimates. With the careful stroke of a pen, that $20k can be $10k. The $2520 I cant massage but the $20k is EASY to stroke. Think about it.

In my opinion, this movement should not be about how the "pie" is divided, but rather about how to produce more pie for everybody.

The reason why there is less to go around is because we have adopted an economic system that progressively benefits fewer and fewer people, that is free trade/globalization, which are other names for imperialism/colonialism.

If its kept in place, its likely that your children, or your grandchildren will eventually feel the pinch, as society regresses towards the feudal mode. The answer is to dump free trade/globalization and to go back to what worked for us previously, that is, the American System of economics:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_System_%28economic_plan%29

This system provided productive jobs for the many, and a growing economy for all.

[-] 3 points by Buttercup (1067) 11 years ago

'Yes, I will cheat' - Just because you can doesn't mean you should. But if that's what makes you feel good about yourself you go ahead and do that. It says more about the person you are, than your stinking $20k is worth. Keep your $20k. Really.

So your argument is - we should keep tax rates on the wealthy at historic lows so they won't cheat? Wow. Just wow. That's some kinda crazy shit. You're a real piece of work. You think about it.

Lets throw out a reality: 75% of black babies are born out of wedlock, I raised 4 kids who are now productive members of society. Why should I be responsible for the offspring of people blatantly irresponsible?

Its a very serious question.

[-] 3 points by Buttercup (1067) 11 years ago

There will always be some people who make poor choices. That affects not only themselves, but others/society, as well (ahem - Wall Street).

But the amount of money you are contributing for foodstamps or housing assistance for 'black babies' born out of wedlock is relatively small. Much more is spent for the elderly, disabled and the working poor.

So how about you tell me why the richest country on the planet should not be able to afford some amount of basic food, housing and medical care for the the least fortunate? In a capitalist society which is nothing more than a Darwinian system of winners and losers. Because you're a sick ignorant bastard is not a good enough reason. Because you may have been one of those 'winners' - 'fuck all the rest of you who lost because I won' types. You could not have 'won' without the losers losing. Think about it. Asshole.

Now, you can focus on 'black babies', but it simply highlights your ignorance. I don't know. Maybe you're just uneducated or poorly educated. But how you can even say that and the next sentence claim that it is a 'serious question' - wow. That just tells me you're a piece of shit. Which has little to do with your education or lack thereof.

You're like the person whose house is burning down and you're worried about the crumbs on the kitchen floor. There are serious problems with the economy. There is absolutely no serious economist on the planet that believes 'black babies' is one of them. Honestly, do you have two brain cells to rub together?

Do you ever read? Try to educate your sick small little mind.

This isn't "some people" - it's the overwhelming majority - and welfare dollars are just "charity on demand."

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

to specify color just reflects racism. You do know most poor people in America are not black right?

[-] -3 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

Let me take that back. 33% of all babies are born without a dad. What is my responsibilty to them? I say zero. You say?

[-] 2 points by Buttercup (1067) 11 years ago

So you're saying an innocent child should be punished for that? You are one sick selfish fucked up poor excuse for a human. Is this you Paul Ryan?

You clearly have no idea what it means to be part of a humane civilized society. We're all connected. Subhuman Neanderthal.

Let me see if I've got this straight. First you cheat on your taxes 'if you judge the burden unfair'. In order to advance your agenda of starving babies?

I think Neanderthals were a more advanced species than you. Really. Get some help.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I say we as a society have a responsibility to search out and prosecute deadbeat parents.

I say it is in our best interest to also ensure that poor people have access to good education/job training. Poor parents should have access to daycare for there kids.

Poor people can be moved into the middle class and will if we deal with appropriately.

Most petty crime is committed by poor people, so that is the savings/investment.

[-] -1 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

I have never been the victim of a harsh petty crime. Any investment in trying to prevent petty crime is far outweighed by my tax savings if i ignore them.

So I am unclear of your answer. I raised my kids, turned out 4 very accomplished productive citizens. I honestly cant be empathetic to some losers bastard kids. My job is done, time for the loser to shoulder his burden.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I understand. "the hell with everyone else I got mine!"

conservative = "you're on your own"

Progressive = "we're in this together"

Peace, Good luck in all your good efforts.

In Germany if you run over a chicken, you pay not only for the chicken but also for every egg that chicken would have produced in its lifetime, and also for every egg of every hen of every egg that would have ever been produced. One chicken, thousands of dollars.

Same here with Africans, I think.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

WHAT??? WTF kinda comment was that?

It's the truth; don't run over a chicken in Germany. And it appears in America, the same is true of Africans - in the above comment, we are not just paying for the babies born out of wedlock but for every successive generation thereafter. And all because our tenth g - grandfathers ran over their ninth g-grandmothers; it's bizarre.

Take your hate somewhere else. To Therapy.

[-] -2 points by Brython (-146) 11 years ago

I don't care much for chickens, either.

The leaders of this country are not generous or honest, further, i don't believe that anyone who is living a life of leisure would endanger themselves by risking criminal liability by intentionally under reporting income. This sir, is a conspiracy

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

calculate the wealth i the system than take that from those that have

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

What does that say about your people when you can't even win an election with a bad economy and not so good voter turnout? It means people generally don't like you. What is your next plan? I heard Costa Rica is nice.

[+] -4 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

Thats just it, I dont need you to like me. You need me to like you. i can shield my income from you because I self report. There isnt a thing you can do, you depend on me to be honest.

[-] 3 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

All that money but you're so unhappy all the time. What can we do to help?

[-] 3 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

You're funny. Go ahead, sit on your money and jobs and fuck up the economy some more. Now you get to argue with these middle class community organizers for another 4 years about jobs and taxes. Oh, and you have Hillary to look forward to. Sucks to be you eh?

[+] -5 points by TheRazor (-329) 11 years ago

Uh, I live large. First thing I am going to do is stop all charitable donations. Its now up to charities to go to Washington for help.

Saves me $60000/ year.

[-] 3 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

Impressive. Any other plans?

[-] 1 points by gsw (3407) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 11 years ago

since you are another 1 percent who cheats on your taxes--that is not new.

people want to expose this, how the 1 percent cheats, and you make it kind of easy.

http://www.mindmined.com/publiclibrary/nonfiction/davidffeudalismaka_capitalism.html

are you really a job creator, then you have a get out of taxes free card, like you say.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

never ever made that much when I was working

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

The lower class does that too. I don't even file a return anymore. We know what to look forward to for the next 4 years now. The middle and upper class will whine about taxes and there will be no job creation. The lower class will try to hang onto what they've gotten from Obama. They might raise minimum wage a bit but not near to where it should be. They might not even bother to do that.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

Have you noticed how the vast majority of people here dislike what you stated know and think you are cruel and hateful?

That's the problem with people who are not successful, when it comes to other peoples money, want to take it away from them and know exactly how to spend it.

You never heard of a person who works hard, is successful, makes a decent living telling someone else what to do with their money.

However, you always hear from people who don't want to work, who don't understand what it takes to become successful, and make a decent living, continue to bash success always want tell people who are successful what to do with their money

What does that tell you about what's going on with todays society - bunch of losers and whiners - couldn't survive if their life depended upon it.
