Common themes of trolls and government OEV sock-puppets: Canada, hippies, get a job, threats of violence, socialism, taking parks from my family, vandalism, etc.
Trolls I feel comfortable enough to call out, off the top of my head: Rivalry, dante44, happy, MikeyD
They will claim they are nearly dissenters with the right to free speech, by they are known by the fruit that they bare. Moderators, please shut down the onslaught of violence and threats of violence that some of these people are placing here.
I don't know. It seems to me that so long as someone tries to present a rational argument, no matter how much you disagree with it, discussing it can be a way of sharpening your own thinking and testing your own point of view.
I agree completely. What I am concerned with are the recent escalations which are threading violence. Just yesterday I was told we would be; fire bombed, gassed, mowed down by 5.56, run over, starved, burned, raped, need I go on? Oh and apperently now the Los Zetas are targeting OWS.

I have no problem with people of opposing views. Respectful discussions and disagreements are a part of life. But when death threats and vulgar speech become aggressive and systematic, it is safe to say there is nothing constructive that will come out of it. Something needs to be done because this forum is out of control

Pretty much. Opinion is a right of the individual. But if one cannot act older than his or her shoe size, it will never be taken seriously.
Wow, can't we talk about how many sexual and other attacks are occurring nightly at the camps? That is good clean FUN!
A cross section of the national population? Nice try but something tells me it is lower or on par with, but certainly not greater than national average.
The problem is that this movement is saying that they represent 99% of the people. That's a lot of people. Do you see the issue with this?
The issue is that unless you represent the 1%, or more specifically the 0.1% of the population who is using unfair political influence and corruption to garner favor and advantage,you have been affected. Whether you choose to voice your opinion or even recognize a personal injustice is irrelevant. This movement calls to attention injustices and corruption that has, and continues to occur. A child, who does not know it is not ok to be beaten, deserves protection regardless.
Just relax man...The more they talk the dumber they look...

As I just explained on another post, two days ago a well-known TROLL posted death threats against OWS members and supporters, including myself and refused to retract them or even apologize for them. Other trolls chimed in to DEFEND him!!! Are we going to let this forum turn into a madhouse?
