What a joke, who could actually not see through this scam?

OWS will sell out to the left, just like Tea did to the right. There simply isnt enough energy in this country to do something big. Not enough. And that is terrifying.

The Democrat and Republican parties are too entrenched and powerful. This creates America's own version of over-centralization of power and enabling of status quo that have consistently brought down society after society in the past. New political forces that arise and might threaten the 1% are characterized as "Right" or "Left" in a divide and conquer strategy that enables the existing status quo system. Voters characterize themselves as "Right" or "Left" and become incapable of uniting and resisting the status quo. This 1% thing is nothing new. The 1% have gone through great society after great society throughout history, consuming them and moving on. America is just one chapter, and the "Right" and "Left" party politics are ridiculously irrelevant in light of the true danger.

Or, OWS could start something Independent and original.

Independent voters are the fastest growing segment of the electorate and there is no reason why OWS supporters should not perceive themselves as Independent of the corrupt two party system.

Independent and willing to use in more strategic ways the rules and restrictions that the two parties undemocratically impose on the electoral process. Do things like changing registration for the primaries to support or oppose a particular candidate. If there is a particularly creepy Republican then get a lot of people to register Republican for the primary and vote against that person. Or visa versa.

I am an Independent but I will register Democrat for the primary to Write-In Elizabeth Warren for president. Wall Street and the parties hate and fear her which makes her the perfect OWS candidate for president. I want to send the parties and Wall Street a message about corruption so I am encouraging others to take this action as well. I also really dislike Bloody Barack Obama and am angry that the Democrats refuse to give Americans a democratic primary contest for president.

These are ways to use the democracy in ways that the two parties hate. If OWS were to organize around creative alternative electoral tactics and candidates we could change the face of American politics away from the corrupt two party duopoly without campaign finance reform or needing to beg the parties to fix what they have intentionally broken, for their benefit.

Right or left, Politicians are bought and paid for by lobbyists!!!

OWS should start a third party, but until we eliminate lobbying and get the money out of Politics we are screwed!

I don't see Politicians giving up thier gravy train without a fight.

Cancel their cards. It's a no-brainer.

When your so-called representatives fail to represent you, you are well within your rights to cut them off the payroll.

Take control of your own destiny. Bankrupt a politician today.

Bankrupt them all. Better yet, just eliminate them...

Ows has the capacity to be many things. Failing to see that it refuses to be the one thing it was spawned to be (soros minionville) is to assist them in destroying what power is here. Review how we got here. We have some serious players coming on board http://occupywallst.org/forum/interesting-read-about-the-constitution-and-corpor/#comment-413890
