The arguments put forth by the opposing sides of the National Economic League are as current today as they were over a century ago. While one side favors democracy and the power of the People to serve their own best interests the other side un-admittedly favors privilege while openly favoring restriction to partisan representation that clearly doesn't work in the best interests of the People.
These battle lines have always been drawn and persist even on this, the premier Occupy Wall Street forum.
