I walked in on my mom watching the View and heard Woopie Goldberg talking about people occupying the Thanksgiving day parade. She was going on a little mini rant about it being for the kids and it's free and doesn't cater to the 1% and I agree with it, but I haven't heard ANYTHING official about this at all. Are people really planning on doing this? I know a bunch of people want to do something for black Friday but that's about it.

It's a bad idea. The workers of the parade volunteer their services. The parade is for children. I enjoyed it a great deal as a kid. You want public opinion to bite you in the ass... go ahead and follow through with this tactic.

Don't do it. High winds are already jeopardizing the parade. It is the worst idea imaginable. Occupy Wall Street attacks children will be the headlines. You will definitely be arrested. Just enjoy it and have fun. @OWSJoyfulWitch. You don't want to be Occupy Scrooge.
