This is a Diagram I made for a Occupy Hub/Wikipedia. This "Wikipedia" template is were people can work on an "idea(s)" through contribution. Building a business plan for a Revolution/Protest.

I Strongly suggest you take a moment to look at the Diagram, as a picture says a 1000's words.

Overly simplistic. Does not expand on anything nor does it add to communications as there are similar projects done very well. It does not go any further in networking with politicians and will not fix the root cause of apathy among the general population.

Sadly, our general population is too "cool" for politics, movement, or even giving a shit. "Cool" these days is code for mentally lazy and accepting of other people being mentally lazy. That's the "in crowd" of modern America, drooling idiots.

What is needed is a phone app that makes it cool enough and intuitive enough to get people to participate. Secondly, the app needs some form of direct communication or interaction with local, state, and federal politicians as well as current legislation for all of those levels.

DreamingForward, None of your projects go anywhere. Your idea for a new web is no different from this.

I couldn't enlarge it enough to opine but you should disregard the above opinion as it is overly negative.

Thanks :) Just to be clear increase the resolution?

Well I have a particular vision problem so for me it would be fine if I could enlarge it.

The resolution might help your normal vision people. But I gotta have a larger image.

Thanx.

(I feel stupid) It meets the basic need of process organization. It is frequently overlooked, but is critical to the success of any movement.

I can't say how OWS has addressed this need or how this could fit in. Seems this is a pretty high level (continental/planetary) so this may not exist yet.

Of course this type of chart is a living document and would be tweaked as more people "on the ground" adjust it to best serve their needs.

goodeffort. Luck! Happy thanksgiving.

Thanks, I did it as a pilot, before I put more effort, I have some new additions, but I want see the response first,

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Yeah we definitely need more organization and it is something that will be expanded on and used in many ways, like on OWS supporters smart phones for street level activism.

I add a bit to it every day, When I have a little more substantial I'll post. Street level app would be a game changer especially aligned with GPS properly and securely.

Then you can have the "avoid tear gas in real time app"...

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Yes. definitely. "groups have been split up by the police, meet up here" and many other useful directions.

Good luck

Aw, a little Disney moment :D

If you're done with your wiki lust, think about the phone app.

I would disagree to communication as it's all about communication.

What are some of the similar projects? I've found a couple with bad infrastructure/interface which were not user friendly.

As for the phone app what do you think about this? http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposal-a-tek-tool-to-fight-coruption/

It's completely different. this is forum based. the other is data based. It's much closer to Wikipedia. The difference is huge ?!?

There no contribution of data on this site?!? On Wiki I can change a definition/page if it passes a committee. There's nothing like that here at all
