I think those who are naive are those who actually believe that the president has any real power in America. The laws of America are bought and sold by the corporations that run all governments worldwide even America. The president is just a figure head that is allowed to pretend he is running this land as long as he doesn't step on the toes on those who are really in control. A simple solution to the American problem is divide the country into new countries which will be governed by the laws that the people in those new countries elect to have above them. This way those who support the corporate welfare system that runs this land could live in Maryland, while those who hold natural resources sacred could live out west. Divide and conquer could be better summed up as divide and live free from the regulations of the corporate run government.

we wouldn't need new countries for that, we have states and thats the purpose of having them, for what you describe to take place we would just need to abolish the federal government and give states the power to govern themselves

Obama has an ego that would make Charlie Sheen look humble. 60 minutes did a piece on him and even the Mrs. said she had to work to keep his ego in check. He is also very inexperienced in the political arena having only served less than 200 days in the US Senate. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that someone like that is not going to be able to come into office in an entrenched bureaucracy like D.C. where working relationships count for a lot. How many long-term working relationships can you achieve in less than a year of work? The sad reality is, that although his intentions may be sincere, which I believe they are, he is in reality a puppet. Biden probably has a lot more influence than he does and to be quite honest I believe Michelle has a lot more on the ball than he does.

Obamas' 2012 Finance Director is the son of BANK OF AMERICAS former CEO.... the guy who got us in this mess!!! Keeping it all in the Family

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

And your point is What???

[-] 1 points by kingearl (141) 12 years ago

the one percent (1%) still control the power,

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

To think that, you have to believe that the Finance Director is in charge of the Government, and not the President.

I don't think so. The President is the Boss here. The Finance Director may be able to give him advice, but I am absolutely sure that the President makes up his own mind. He is without a doubt the smartest guy in the room. To believe that he is niave or inexperienced, is to believe a Republican talking point that bears no relation to fact or reality. Let us not forget, Obama got Bin Laden! This President will never have say "I am the Decider!"

Of much greater importance is the fact that The 1% control more than 40 votes in the Senate, a super majority in the house, and five seats on the Supreme Court. (It is a testiment to Obama's abilities that he was able to get anything through this hostile Congress) That is much more troublesome to me than any percieved conflict of interest that the Finance Director may or may not have.

Obama does no wrong!

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

And, the Republicans do no right.

[-] 1 points by gerdahl (2) 12 years ago

The GOP is blocking the doorway while the house burns, and "alwayzabull" thinks it's a virtue to ignore this. I suggest he is a plant, in any case he puts the umb in dumb.

To paraphrase Ghandi - First they ignore you Then they ridicule you Then they fight you Then we win

Occupy Denver!

[-] 2 points by alwayzabull (228) 12 years ago

Vote for Obama again and you'll get the same results. Good luck! And no I am not a plant, just someone who prefers not to be owned by a political party. I voted for Obama and it ain't working out so well.

[-] 1 points by freeme (15) 12 years ago

I'm with you! I also voted for Obama but I won't get fooled again. He just gives mealy-mouthed recognition to this movement with no mention of the police brutality. I will not vote for anyone from the two major parties.

[-] 1 points by gerdahl (2) 12 years ago

I'm satisfied with what he's done for the most part. As for the economy, well, when the leader of the Senate Republicans clearly states that their number 1 objective is to make Obama a one-term President - not fix the economy mind you - and then reiterates that objective, then you should know that the GOP do not mean well for America. Once again, they are blocking all the doors to our burning house, and we're trapped inside.

So send a message to them to get out of the way and let Obama in with the hose.

I would like a viable alternative to the 2 parties to make them more honest, but until then I back Barrack.

Predatory Republic?

or democratic equality

I thought Robert Reich would have been a good challenger. One of only a handful continually talking about the need for job creation.

[-] 1 points by JFK88 (17) 12 years ago

ignorant and not worthy of the presidency is what obama is and will remain. Get someone in office who will change things, get away from the status quo.

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

naive and corrupt, yes.

powerless, not quiet. he has a lot of leverage over the system as i will explain shortly.

empty-headed, possibly. there is no reason to believe he is interested in helping, so it is hard to gauge whether he is capable of doing so if he desired.

what is obama's power? he is third generation CIA, selected by Brzezinski as the covert operative who would play bin Laden in the Af-Pak theater. this revelation shatters the 9/11 fairytale and anyone's ability to have confidence in the current regime.

In September 2007 during a speech on the Iraq war, Obama introduced Brzezinski as "one of our most outstanding thinkers,"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvJ3lRElnEo

textual summary with some commentary and a little bit of additional info:

Barack Hussein Obama and the Left-Right False Paradigm

Who is Stanley Dunham? Stanley Dunham was an OSS officer, which is the agency that was turned into the CIA shortly after the end of World War II.

Barrack Senior meets Stanley Dunham (One of Obama’s grandfathers) de-boarding in Hawaii.

Obama Senior is the first foreign black Harvard student and takes Russian with Stanley Anne Dunham at U Hawaii during the height of cold war.

Stanley Anne Dunham goes on to marry Lolo Soetoro shortly after her divorce to Obama Senior. Lolo Soetoro is known to have been a general in the CIA backed coup in Indonesia.

Obama junior works for known CIA front company, Business International Corporation.

Obama junior not remembered during the 80s and 90s in USA, as even Trump admits on mainstream media.

Obama junior Travels to Pakistan in ’81, which was designated a state sponsor of terror (prohibited as a place of travel) at the time, therefore he was not traveling on a US passport (except possibly with intelligence agency approval)

Most likely travels on Indonesian passport (admits to stopping in Indonesia on his way to Pakistan in his autobiography), where he makes affirmative act of allegiance as an adult by renewing his passport to continue to Pakistan.

Dual-citizenship was prohibited by Indonesia at this time and US code required compliance with foreign policy, therefore his renewal would constitute a forfeiture of US citizenship. – See Pastor Manning interview of Wayne Madsen

Islamic prophecy has it that a tall black man with the sign of the Imam Hussein will rise in the west by way of deception – See Steve Quayle

Conclusions

Obama is third generation CIA, worked as a covert agent in the Af-Pak theatre during the 80s and early 90s, see youtube video comparing facial features of Obama and Osama

Then realize … oBSama bin hidin … in the White House

… and the Republicans and Democrats both know but neither say because they are controlled by the same puppet masters.

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

Yeah right, and the next thing you're gonna tell me is that his Birth Certificate is fake! Please. Take off your Aluminum foil hat, and find something that is real to complain about.

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

I have plenty of other posts completely unrelated to the O(b/s)ama con. It is important information though.

Would you like to dispute any of the facts offered? Or just deflect with name calling?

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

Please! you wouldn't know a fact if it came crashing through your windshield. And, I have yet to call you a name.

[-] 1 points by SocialJustice (7) 12 years ago

So you think President Obama is Osama, that must be some powerful KoolAid they have at FAUX!

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

Also, I highly resent this left-right paradigm BS you are pushing with the "FAUX!" crap. MSNBC and Fox are both funded by the private Federal Reserve and are nothing more than state-sponsored propaganda. My post specifically rejects both parties.

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

Do you have any reason to believe he isn't, given his family's three generation history in the CIA, their physical resemblance, his childhood in an Islamic state, travels to Pakistan when it was designated a state sponsor of terror, etc...?

[-] 1 points by SocialJustice (7) 12 years ago

You really are misinformed

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

Care to elaborate?

[-] 0 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

I couldn't scroll past this particular load of Conservative garbage and let it go unchallenged.

Alwayzabull (Could you possibily be a Stockbroker???) is obviously confusing President Obama with President Bush. The President is neither naive, corrupt, powerless, or empty headed. Bush was.

This President, our President is in fact smart, honest, thoughtful and effective. (He killed Bin Laden didn't he?) If he is unable to make any real difference in the power struggle between the elite, and the people, it isn't for lack of trying. It's because the Elites like you are very powerful.

You act like the congress went along with everything he proposed, and it didn't work. the fact is that the Republicans got everything they wanted, and that didn't work. How is that Obama's fault?

The reality is that Conservatives run the Government. They control the Senate with a veto proof fillibuster minority, they have a clear majority in the house, and five votes on the Supreme Court! It's a miracle that Obama was able to get anything done.

President Obama is in fact the only thing standing in the way of a full blown Depression. The only people who are naive, corrupt, powerless, and empty headed are those who don't understand that fact.

[-] 3 points by alwayzabull (228) 12 years ago

I am as middle class as the come. Obama's choice for head of the Treasury department, Timothy Geithner, speaks volumes. Sorry to burst your bubble but Obama is just Bush 2.0.

[-] 2 points by eric1 (152) from Corona, CA 12 years ago

Yep, sad reality. Not to mention keeping Bob Gates on as Defense.

[-] 1 points by marsdefIAnCe (365) 12 years ago

Why would anyone think a CIA agent with three CIA parents (one step-dad) and two CIA grandparents is on their side?

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

I don't think so. You can be middle class,(According to you) and still work on the Stock Market. You haven't said anything that would disuade me from thinking that. You're a Conservative apologist who just parrots what Fox News says. I don't believe you ever voted for Obama. Because the only people that care that he appointed Tim Geithner to the Treasury are Stock Brokers.

[-] 1 points by alwayzabull (228) 12 years ago

Vote for Obama again, it's your right. He's got you wrapped around his pinky finger.

[-] 1 points by Eugenius (42) 12 years ago

Yeah, and the Koch Brothers and Ruppert Murdock have you shoveling Garbage for them. They crap, and you tell them what color it is. And, don't even try to deny it.

And yes it's true, Me, and the 200 votes I control (I'm a Community Organizer!) are going to Obama. Which one of the seven dwarves are you voting for or is Michelle "Snow White" Bachmann the one for you???

END THE FED!(CENTRAL BANK)

"A government that governs least governs best"-Thomas Jefferson

"The refusal of King George to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution."- Benjamin Franklin (referring to the Central Bank of England, which like our Federal Reserve is a private corporation owned by banks that prints money OUT OF THIN AIR. The Federal Reserve is the USA's third central bank, abolished twice, yet back, does that not make you wonder why we have one and understand the persistence of bankers?)

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency(They control it through the Federal Reserve/Central Banks and control all of europe through this mechanism), first by inflation, then by deflation,(The Federal Reserve increased the money supply 5 fold since our current financial crisis, so inflation is going to hit hard and will hit virtually overnight) the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs".-Thomas Jefferson

'Give me control of a nations money supply, and I care not who makes it’s laws" -Amschell Rothschild Central Bank Chairman, England Chapter

Not since Lincoln has a president faced an alignment of forces against him within the country. You appear to be part of that.

While you BOM (bitch and moan) at Obama, you've let the bad guys get their way...again. What good is it to have a hose ready to put out the fire, but then find that your neighbor is blocking the door while he blames the flames on you.

Get yourself a moral measuring stick, and then try it out on the GOPSOB's.

[-] 1 points by alwayzabull (228) 12 years ago

Ha! Thanks to your kind, the media is framing this movement a leftist protest.

[-] 0 points by silentxzero (8) from Avondale, AZ 12 years ago

The Obama hate worries me, the Bush hate worried me as well, it shows ignorance. I don't know how a movement can succeed with such little knowledge on the office of president. At least you threw in powerless, but you're only half right.

[-] 0 points by SocialJustice (7) 12 years ago

I sincerly dont believe he is corrupt. Im not sure he could have ran such a qualified campain if he was naive. Perhaps when he gained the presidency he was made privey to information that made him recognize how powerless he is. Since the new congress has come into term President Obama has been having a difficult time with messaging. The president needs to stop reading the poles and start making them. He is our President, the Peoples President and not the exclusive property of the wealthy. If he would get behind us then we would get behind him. So far though he has only gotten behind the people with words, yet when we need him to do something big he lets us down. We the People We our the true Government in this nation and we need to stay vigilant until the people in Washington begin to recognize who they where designed to represent.

I voted for Obama because I couldn't dry heave anymore with the Republicans in office and couldn't face Palin as a VP even though she's pretty to look at. Now I'm stuck between voting for Obama the puppet, Romney the establishment pukester or Ron Paul, who gets no credit from the media's major influences. We need to get this message out to the zombies before Rick Perry is elected. That scares me.
