In a blatant hijacking of the Occupy Movement, MoveOn.org (the George Soros-funded Obama campaign front group) sent an email to members requesting donations on behalf of #OccupyWallSt.
... You know, I was in the "let everyone who wants to lend support to the movement do so" camp. I thought and still think co-opting #OWS is not really doable.
But this is different. This is outrageous. Do they intend to disclose with perfect transparency exactly how much money they got and where it went? Cause if not, it's a scam. Will even a single penny go to a politician's campaign? Cause if so, it's a fucking con.
I mean, it's nice they want to film and all. But #OWS already has people doing that, and already has ways to collect donations. If they want to help, why not link to those? This isn't helping, this isn't supporting. This is profiteering.

I suggest reading Howard Zinn's book the People's History of the United States..
He points out numerous times that Change did not come thru the democratic party - 1st 'fringe' movements and parties from Eugene Debs(socialist party) and the Farmers Party etc popularized policies and then the main parties were Forced to pick up those policies.
Zinn showed time after time examples where fighting for change within the Democratic party was akin to throwing your Energies down a blackhole.
Read the book or simply look to 2008! Obama took his mandate for Change and then proceeded to hire the Exact Same jackals and predators that caused the Economic Crash - obama talked about ending NAFTA and then once in office pushed 3 new job killing Free Trade Agreements.
We cannot support OWS AND support One of Wall Streets biggest allies.
THAT is how we destroy this movement.
Notice that the Tea Party didn't just accept and support republicans - they threw Many republicans under the bus - including sitting members of congress -
By doing that they forced the debate to the right - the democrats lamely fell right in line -
Build the movement and THEN decide on candidates - and ONLY support those that support you ideas and ideals - meanng that Mr Free Trade aka obama - IS NOT to be supported until he actually matches his rheoric with some actions.
And saying the War Is Over but leaving over 200,000 no bid private contractors Turns that statement into a baldfaced lie.
Saying you are All For Jobs - and claimng you are 'pivoting' towards JOBS and then shoving 3 Free Trade Agreements down the throats of We The People , agreements that eveyone says will decrease JOBS, is EXACTLY why OWS needs to distance itself from the democrats.
Give them money and support now and you'll prove rahm emanuel's critique of Progressives - f@*^ing retards.
1st build power - Then yield power - selectively - And only to those Worthy - obama and the vast majority of democrats Are Not Worthy.
Ron Paul is not corrupt and cannot be bought....just sayin........hell, he was the only member of the House to vote against giving the medal of freedom to Mother Theresa....his reason? As great as a person she was, taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for something they may not believe in (the medal cost $10,000). He proposed that each congressman/congresswoman throw in $100 to cover the cost of the medal (like they can't afford it?). His proposal was rejected and the taxpayer money was used. Stupid Washington. Ron Paul 2012. Look him up, don't go by what you hear or how the media portrays him! We all know the media is controlled by the same banks we're against. These banks control the president and and all of the other candidates as well.
You think things are bad now, elect Ron Paul. Then you can watch your country turn into Biafra: Old people begging in the streets and babies dying of starvation. Imagine a country where the guy who owns the road you need to get to work decides he wants to charge you $100 a day (no regulation- he can charge whatever he wants) to get to work. Then imagine your employer says, you're not as cute a Ron, and I like cute, so I'm not paying you as much as Ron even though you do the same work. (No rules, employer can pay whatever he darn well pleases.) This would be your Ron Paul world. You still like it? Then you are either already part of the 1% fat cats or a fool. Ron Paul pays his trolls. You can recognize them by the fact that they always start their comments with his name.
Don't forget his son Rand Paul whom RP named after Ayn Rand. He wants to end the Civil Rights Act and allow Seperate but (un)Equal.

Ron Paul may have good ideas in regards to War and the Federal Reserve but his other social policies do Nothing but empower Corporations - EXACTLY against the desires of the OWS movement.
RP values Property over people. Hence his end the EPA in order to allow More pollution. End Medicare and Social Security - that is plan madness.
If we have to choose a member of Congress that 'gets it' then Bernie Sanders is that guy.

The email is only about MoveOn. They only mention in passing the OWS, but they clearly state that this money is only for move on.org not the occupy movement. They say that move on SUPPORTS ows and they don't talk about taking anything from occupy.

I got this same email this morning. I did not donate. I did, however, sign their petition to stop the park eviction a few days back. I'm not for or against Move on, as an organization. They can both help & hinder the 99%. Accept their help gracefully when you can-people want to be involved, & they can help with that. Deny their agenda when you can, as well, but be certain to do that with even more grace.

What I really found interesting were the comments. Lots of MoveOn people and so arrogant! One said this:

One of the original organizers of OWS has said the he was angry that MoveOn is trying to hijack this movement. He said he welcomes anyone's support but they do not speak for OWS. Now that MoveOn is soliciting money, fraudulently, I would imagine he's REALLY going to be angry.
