I thought this might be a good place to share this video. I might ask, why doesnt Obama suspend all Federal funds to the NYPD until they investigate this matter? I think that sounds fair.

Yeah! Do you mean like "do something about that melanin!" What a tool.

No, not at all. The color of the skin should not be a factor in our society. I don't like any discrimination. However, I believe that not congregating with others in the streets, being inside at certain time in the night and having a friendly attitude toward the Police, will go a long way in abating confrontations. We need the Police in order to maintain law and order. They need our understanding of what they're doing for us and, if we do, they certainly will reciprocate. I don't think that deliberately the Police, or better White Police Officers,if this is where you're getting to, will want to harass minorities or even others out of malice.

"war on Blacks and Latinos" ?????? Please understand that the term "Latino" relates to a language and culture and not to a race. It's in fact the language and culture coming out of Italy and not at all from Spain. Latin American is only a geographical location and cannot be changed into "Latino". The people in this post have to find a name which identifies their different races but " Latino" is not the one. The real Latinos are: Italians,French,Portuguese,Spaniards and Romanians.

Coming back on topic, there no war going on against Blacks and Ibero-Americans ( hispanics). I just don't see it. Perhaps, these people should control their behavior as not to be too visible to the Police. Got it?

In closing I would like to remind the participants in this uprising that this is our " Revolution". We are the ones who are suffering. Just look around and see the destruction in our society. I don't want to see this movement being infiltrated by detractors and who have all the benefits handed them over by the government. We got nothing. Sorry, but we have to take care of ourselves. This is our revolution.

Bloomberg has declared war on children, too. He says if it were up to him he'd fire half the teachers and double class sizes. Great guy!

I agree with you, but unfortunately, you'd probably have to investigate every police department in the nation. The only people I ever see pulled over in my town are African Americans and hispanics. I had an African American friend (who has since moved) who was an executive for a big pharma company who was pulled over several times. I was more outraged than he was. I think he was used to it. Disgusting. Unconstitutional!

0.01%er Bloomberg's NYPD = NOT Your Police Department and its Not just a "war on Blacks and Latinos" who actually comprise many OF The Police.

Thus an attempt at any 'racial narrative' is ultimately inaccurate, superficial and capricious and has all the depth of a puddle in a car park ...

spero meliora

Pot is a different issue then whats being discussed in this video. The issue is that Mike Bloomberg, Ray Kelly and the NYPD have declared war on Blacks and Latinos.

Yea nevermind the fact that they were breaking the law.

It's the cops breaking the law in this matter. That's why after lots of protest the NYPD now at least officially no longer does these frame ups of African American and Hispanic residents. (if you believe them).

Dont blame the whole department for people being framed, nevermind actually proving it.

You know nothing about this. Your comment shows your lack of knowledge about this topic.

There were investigative reports done on stop and frisk.

This was official policy, not "a few bad apples" per audio recordings and the testimony of a whistleblower/cop.

Sounds like profiling is actually working then, imagine that.

By the way, my comment was about people being framed up, which I doubt is official policy. if this is the way you people sort things out, then its no wonder your so easily brainwashed, you totally leave out facts and real statements to jump on some obscure point you wanted to prove after talking to your buds today and before even actually reading what I said.

If I am wrong please provide information about the offical NYPD policy to frame black folks, and youll have my apologies.

Why oh why did Kelley have to put out a memo to all cops to cut this shit out? If you don't read a comment you ought not reply to it. See you at Dunkin's?

Oh, and I thought the video showed how cops in NYC illegally frame up for petty marijuana beefs mainly Black and Hispanic people.
