no money for us to buy presents or a nice restaurant dinner with friends no money to buy a nice Christmas tree no sleigh rides in the snow through the country side No jolly ole St. Nick just $2 in my pocket and that won't even buy a Christmas card for my Mom Thanks 1% for a Great Christmas ho ho ho

i worked for some money but it just paid my rent. guess my 50$ limit for my kids has shrunk to what the church will give them.
hey, at least you're not starving. Lots of people in the world hard. Tell your kids to study hard at school.
lol so they can go to college and be in debt for the rest of thier lives. i tell them to study for the wealth of knowledge not the wealth of a job. i also teach them that every man is the same no matter if they are rich or poor. isnt that what ourcountry was founded on. however i think the politicians have forgotten that
I graduated not 5 years ago. Paid much of my way through college. No debt now and making 6 figures. So I am not sure why you are so down on your kids. You should give them hope, not put down their ambitions. Every man is the same philosophy isn't going to help them when they are bums on the street. Better to work hard and get rich.
sorry my values arent based on money. my values are based on beeing good to your fellow man. i dont want more on my dinner table than any other man. i do tell them if they work hard they can be anything and have anything they want. just wondering how did you go through college without haveing any debt. i did it in 93 and still had over 20k in debt. of course i come from a poor family who couldnt help me.
Your values don't have to be based on money in order to make money so that you can provide a good lifestyle for your family. If you don't want more than your fellow man, try moving to Africa and living on less than $5 a day, which most of the world does.
This lack of ambition and settlement for mediocrity is what is killing America.
I worked part time jobs concurrently and worked hard in high school to get scholarships. I said I paid much of my way through college - not entirely.
If you boycott the retail aspect of Christmas, then we win. No black Friday, no Pagan Christmas trees. No lights. Just spirit, family, food , friends, that's it. Maybe simple present between you and the misses, and simple for kids. Bring them up that it is BS. They will get it. No presents. My family and friends have reformed....No more getting upset and not having a "good Christmas" They do not win if you do not play the game. It was engineered and exploited as a "retail" holiday. It is BS Remember what its all about, the memories and some celebration. Disconnect from the retail brainwashing and go back to basics. Money or none, I am done
Yeah, it's pretty sad when you are told as a child that Santa gives the good kids the best presents. Then you see the spoiled rotten bullies at school with better toys and nicer clothes when the new year comes around. It's enough to make one question weather it really is more beneficial to walk all over everyone else to get a step ahead of game of greed. But I always feel better when I am helping others and trying to do what I think is right. Even if that means letting people think they are taking advantage of me. Because the more trials God puts me through, the stronger I become--both inside and out. And when it's time for a real fight...I'll be prepared.
I am one of the creators punching bags myself - I accept it now. And as god's observer we will be rewarded with ascension. Only fight and defend when absolutely necessary. I have diffused a carjacker by words. When I was told to get the F out, I said man its cool , get in I'll give you a ride....He hesitated, I said its cool, I am in trouble if I let you ride with me. I do not care what you did. Calm down and get in....He thought I was a cop at first.... I diffused him, and asked him where he wanted to go....I told him if I let you steal the car, your panic will get you caught or in an accident so calm the f down I will help. He had a gun. I showed no fear. Someone else may get hurt, and you will get caught. He spilled his guts to me and after a couple of hours asked me to bring him to the station to turn himself in. I did as he asked. He previously robbed a store at gunpoint. Nobody got hurt, but I got to his core and he realized what he did was wrong....I really think I have a power that helps the world, and the fight is always in the mind. Resist, or show fear and you become prey. Show none, "make friends" and you will be surprised how much influence one can have. I think of this as my faith rewarding me. I have been assigned to a mission beyond my comprehension. I am succeeding. Good luck to you and all love my brother.
