Dear fellow libertarians,
We are haughty and self righteous and we think we know better than anybody. Which we do but out attitude is just not being helpful to these kids. We are supposed to be educators but we are so stuck up that nobody can handle us.
We gotta back it off a notch and remember it takes 2-3 years of reading and debate for the smartest of us to formulate a position and these kids haven't had that benefit. Maybe it's time we put some humble back in our pie.
Believe me, it is not because people think you are stuck up. It is because what you advocate is ridiculous.
You advocate a dog-eat-dog, winner-take-all society ruled by the wealthy few.
It is the exact kind of society being protested against by OWS.
That kind libertarian thinking is exactly why the US is in the mess it is in now.
Some internet libertarians I believe are college dorm libertarians.
All theory, no practical experience. So it is one inexperienced group arguing theory with another inexperienced group.
Not to say all of you fit that description, but there are many like that when it comes to internet discussions.
