It is impossible to run an economy without money. You will never match supply with demand or get enough volunteers.

A better alternative is to use money and pay everyone an equal salary (in the US that amounts to $135k/year).

Also few will be interested in Jacque's simple dome homes. We can factory build any style home (google modular homes). And a better city design than Jacque's is what u find in gated planned communities in the US like RossBridge or Isleworth or any new town in Dubai.

How that would work:

No, a resource-based economy already exists here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45bzybQT8wM .

I see the equal money system as a good place to start in transitioning to an RBE, but the way our economy is setup now, it seems unlikely. The rich would still control their massive wealth, therefore inequality would still exist. Unless you plan to forcefully taking it from them.

Jacque's models are not the official blue-prints. The information and application of the scientific method is what we build from. RossBridge, Isleworth, and especially Dubai are not efficient city planning.

The video you linked to is blocked. Is there an alternate?

The purpose of equal incomes is not to punish the rich but rather to solve the problems the 97% have from lack of income. In a society where you are guaranteed a 6-figure income as a right, the problems that might arise from some people still having a lot of assets from the old system would be mostly insignificant.

What is inefficient about a place like Isleworth?

I'm starting to think this "moneyless society" shit is another form of propaganda from a sector of society that wants to disempower others. Get people used to the idea of not having any money. Of only being able to function in small isolated communities and most likely dependent on a wealthy and more powerful master or lord of the manor who has the "property rights" they've eschewed. I'm sure there are well-intended people who truly believe in what they see as the positive potentials of this, but I'm betting there are others who want to exploit the shit out of it. Folks, try to think critically and determine which is which. Generally, someone trying to cajole you out of all your money is to be met with skepticism, in varying degrees depending on how sincere you think they are.

I imagine the world without people.

Either one would be less stress on the Earth, but I'd rather see money go.

Nah, lets stick around for a while. We should become sane at some point in time.
