About 8 months ago I predicted this whole occupy thing wouldn't survive more than a year. Guess what, I was right. You hippies haven't done anything worthwhile and it's time for you to protest something else so you have an excuse to not work and be a part of functioning society.

Heheheheh.

You clearly haven't been following this movement, nor the reflected actions of the corporats. Not that they would give #ows any credit for what they are being forced to do, by an increasingly aware public sector.

The LIBOR "scandal" will result in criminal hearings of the banksters. Not that it's news, mind you. Happened over five years ago, but heads must roll now that the public have been shown repeatedly that their banksters are really gangsters.

But, you just keep banging away on your keyboard, safe in the knowledge that we are all a bunch of hippies, barefoot and tie-died. Must give you a warm inner-glow.

They never do.

They have been here claiming it's demise since the site went live.

Since the MSM ignores it these days, they think it's gone.

The fact is, Shooz, that this site was meant for news dissemination. Sure there's been a slowing down of the hundreds of trolls haunting this place, and for that, I'm grateful.

It used to be a right pain in the butt having to wade through the crap they left lying around everywhere here.

Now, we are down to a dedicated group of information sharing people, and I, for one, am happy how that pans out for me.

.#ows has lit some fuses and kicked some arses (asses in you lingo).

Rattling cages is what the movement is all about. I love it.

Occupy exposed a fatal flaw in our system. That crack grows wider every day with every mind that is opened to the truth.

It was because of OWS that the country started discussing the inequity between the rich and poor. We created the real potent language of 1% & 99%.

Many issues are slowly moving forward based on our efforts. ALEC voter suppression has been challenged, Citizens united is being seriously questioned, The banksters are scared, Taxes will be made more fair.

We have made a difference, regardless of your demeaning opinion. All you gotta do is look at the efforts that the MSM at ignoring us. You only gotta look at Faux News and your republicans viciously attacking us to know we are a force.

8 months is nothing. Movements that matter take 10 years at least.

Keep laughin repub boy. We're just gettin started. We are the 99%.! Banks got bailed out, we got sold out! No justice no peace! Whose streets our streets.!

I don't think they are gone, they will be here for a while. They seem to have chosen a path that will lead to irrelevance though. A different protest each day and no thought of entering the political process to effect real change. It's already leading them to be co-opted as a sort of rent-a-mob by the groups that do engage with the system.
