What makes you think that they aren't paying taxes? Many homeless have jobs. Further, they purchase items. But, I don't think you are the slightest bit interested in any of that.

My comment was "income taxes" not purchase taxes. The issue is whether the 1% pay 37% toward the income taxes. Based on OWS postings, the 1% pay ZERO or nearly zero and use tax shelters to not pay ANY income taxes. If, indeed they dont pay the 37% and based on postings that the poor dont have jobs and MOST of Americans cant find jobs, then who is paying the income taxes that run this country? If the poor are not then by math,, it must be the 1%. Either you have to stand by the fact that the poor are unemployed, underpaid then they are not paying enough taxes to run America or they are employed at a level to run America or the 1% are. Which is it?
