Forum Post: Nader the Traitor.

Posted 12 years ago on July 13, 2012, 8:33 a.m. EST by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Nader the traitor has crawled under a rock,

It’s the only place safe from the things that he wort.

As millennia approached us, we had one last shot,

To keep the planet we’re on from getting too damn hot.

But Nader thought better his name should be heard.

And Gore was left standing with only his word.

Ten times ten thousand thought Gore couldn’t lose

And a statement was needed to make the world choose

Are we to be puppets and dance on a string?

Or will we be spirits and let our hearts sing?

December reality came crashing in

The Court has decided that Bush got the win.

Where was the outrage where were the cries?

Believers were muted they bought all the lies

How could they scream, how could they roar?

When even their ballots weren’t marked for Al Gore?

The Court burned the votes on that day

So it would be safe for the Royals to play.

Tax cuts are sweet

We love all the meat

But Bush had a fear

What if folks start to hear?

An appointment or two

And I give you C-U.

Yup. Citizens United was one of the lousy results of that mess, one of a hundred or more lousy results.

You see mid way down the poem I ask the question "How could they scream, how could they roar?" in 2000 5 million people who one would think were the most concerned about democracy were put in the position of how do we raise shit about a few hundred votes not being counted when we threw millions in the trash can?

It's 2016 but we still are fighting the wars brought to us by Nader and the Greens of 2000, will we allow the stupid people to divide us again and give the GOP the win?

[-] 3 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

I really wonder from where you got the idea that the GOOP will win in 2016. The white-cream-soap-opera party is in a secular decline because "A house divided against itself shall not stand." It proved before that it no longer knew how to govern.

However much you call my people stupid, they know very well that they have been betrayed again and again already for decades under duopoly. Non-governance can only go so far till my people awakens to the designer fountain on top of our backyard cesspool. When the white wool turns brown from the sprinkling benevolence, they will surely decide that they are not vegetables!

Nader lobbied for the car seatbelts and succeeded, saving many lives. He was a good shepard. Perhaps you were not old enough to know his lifetime consumer advocacy endeavors.

Remember Churchill's saying. My people are ingenious - hack till it drops.

Here's an update of the climate for you, I expect you don't look at the actual result of Nader's ego very often, http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

You severely overestimated the power of any single individual, even a President of the U.S.A. The effect on climate is cumulative of many factors. No one changes the climate by any significant amount but everyone Does make a difference, both positive and negative.

For a while, China was completing a coal-fired electricity generating plants every week or so. That had locked in China using coal for many decades because the huge capital outlays need to be recouped over the Long lifetimes of the plants. I talk about China mainly because it is politically authoritarian so it can and does turn on a dime politically, unlike the Titanic "Democracies" such as India and the U.S.A. Neither China, U.S., nor India took climate change seriously but China got it and did turn on a dime and had driven down the costs of solar panels greatly as well as going whole hog on renewable and alternative energy generation, so yes, our global fate may well be and probably unsurprisingly saved by authoritarian China.

The U.S. had reduced its CO2 emission, too, but that was more due to the self-inflicted Great Recession and using more fracked gas. Obama administration had a wakeup call to go with renewable and alternative energy but even free money was ineffective in enticing people to convert towards more sustainable energy production. Ambitious automobile mileage regulations had been past but the industry has already started pushing back. Given our press "3" for Tera eRex and press "5" for Mx. Cheese on our globalized helpline, business will win, again. Bye, bye, I'm going to my underground telephone booth to feed mushrooms and chat with God so good luck, everybody!

India wants to go backwards in the charge towards sustainable energy production. It's not a surprise due to its being relatively poor.

E.U., especially Germany, has gone far on the charge so yes, hopefully Germany can come up with some nifty breakthroughs sometime. I suspect that they would not really be glamorous like solar panels but boring and practical like co-generation and insulation.

Japan's per capita energy consumption is already low in the developed world so there isn't that much more optimization easily available. Notable is the coming-back of nuclear power generation even after the meltdowns. Japan may have rather few choices.

The Paris global climate pact is somewhat of a success at least verbally but it may very well end up as yet another empty-talk and no-walk deal like the Millennium Development Goals. Jill Stein is the only candidate who really gets the importance of the climate issue. Mx. Cheese will probably be better than Tera eRex on this issue but I just don't know how much I can trust her to do the right thing. She will support TPP once she has been elected. Tera eRex just doesn't get it at all. Can we really afford yet another in-office vocational internship for the Presidency of the U.S.A.? I admit that we have done it several times before so we may well be able to do it again but does Tera eRex really have the heart of gold, loving my people, so that he is "trainable"?

Hmm, is converting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to a brothel a good extra-money-making "business" idea? It's not that we haven't at least contemplated that before.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

Do have any concept of the impact of putting your name on the ballot?

You end with some vague reference indicating that you too are either a huge liar or stupid as shit as you have trouble finding a difference between Gore and Bush.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

Nader has done more to kill the earth than any other person for the sake of his ego.

Everybody said the GOP couldn't win in 2000 too.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

The stupid elect the GOP and allow the 1% to rule, we could kill the GOP and change the world but ego whores like Nader will always be there to fool the stupid.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

The stupid elect the GOP and allow the 1% to rule

Agree

we could kill the GOP and change the world

Agree

I think you are being a bit hard on Nader. He would have made a good president (imo). Gotta get back to the basic truth = "The stupid elect the GOP and allow the 1% to rule"

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

Nader was an ego whore who knew he couldn't win and he hurt the election of the one person, the one chance we had of actually doing something about climate change, the delays in action caused by Nader will cost the lives of millions, sorry I'm not sure one can be hard core enough about such things.....and nobody no matter how smart they are can be a good President without ever having held public office, again only an ego whore would think they could.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

Nah - Nader was an almost good thing.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

There was no almost, Nader did not win a single state, it was a pure exercise in vanity and it put W Bush in the WH. To forget is to fall for it all over again.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

If Nader had run as a dem (like Bernie) more people would have gotten to know him - to be honest if the voting public had been at all informed - the race would have been between Nader as independent and Gore as the dem and Shrub would have just been an also ran.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

"if" don't keep the GOP from winning....and Nader ran as a Dem in 96 ( maybe 92 not sure which) lost so took it out on America in 2000 because he is a sick ego whore, I think people who think themselves too important to hold any position except president are mostly full of crap

[-] 0 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

Thats so cute that you think the VP of the administration that moved all our factories to zero environmental regulation countries was our "one chance" to save the planet.

In reality, when it comes to great organizers, its usually the politicians who are the worst at it. MLK and X would be great examples of this. Alinksy and Marx could run circles around politicians when it comes to organizing.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

So turbo the con thinks W Bush was better on climate change than Al Gore, oh but he did pass a huge tax cut, maybe that's what you were thinking of.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

I think they are both so horrifically disgusting when it comes to the planet that neither is worth even considering.

Of course, Im not an idiot and fall for their crap either.

[-] 2 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

factsrfun is out of touch about the facts of the Clinton-Gore and the mega-Wiener adminstrations.

China got lots of jobs and technology transfers from the U.S. during the Clinton-Gore administration which became neo-con with the GOOP corruption contagion. How else do you think Mx. Cheese got onto the board of directors of Walmart, where everything there started to become "Made in China"? By selling out the American Middle Class! Yep, 你会说中国话吗? 对不起! Did you observe the Great Leap Forward of the Chinese Space Program? During the Clinton-Gore administration, China could not even launch a U.S. satellite successfully. To help with the outsourcing to improve profits, the U.S. leaked national security secrets to China. When those ICBMs come at New York and Washington, they will be guided by U.S. technological knowhow!

Oh, we were so very close to doing the same thing again with the Russians. Imagine the U.S. Con-gress funding Poo Tin the Great's rocket modernization program! $&£%heads of the designer fountain did wise up after Elon Musk had sued. Of course, the eelites will surely be gunning for Elon's ventures such as Tesla cars which use no OIL fuels that they control.

I am not sure how much Al Gore was actually responsible for the neo-con policies that sold out our people because VP is often a rather impotent position (except during the empty-suit mega-Wiener administration when the Con-dom was ruptured by the humongous oily DICK). Perhaps Mx. Cheese exerted more influence while lusting to get onto Walmart's board. Mx. Cheese has learnt how the favors tradings work, judging by the setups of the Clinton Foundation.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

Anyone that is willing to stand by and witness all of that as Mr Gore did and do it with a smile and lies is a total shithead imo.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

I know anyone that don't give you a tax cut is a shithead we all know that.

How liquid must a brain be to elect the GOP?

[-] 0 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

Very much, for liquidity is the essence required of any financially successful brain but I really cannot elect the GOP - the troglodytes under my protection do.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

turbo cuts his knees before the GOP

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

Don't be obsessed by fearing the GOP winning the presidential election - fear is very bad guide. Campaign for where your brain's reason and love tell you. I will not mind it one bit if Bernie Sanders run independently of the DNC later because it is prejudiced against his candidacy.

If Mx. Cheese gets the nomination and is indicted, Bernie becoming President can still pardon her. If the GOOP wins, it may well be the invasion of the alien cow pie in the sky for all. Imagine Mx. Cheese becoming the nominee and disqualified, Cruz becoming GOOP nominee and disqualified, and the matter going to the Supreme Court and there is a 4-4 split due to Antonin Scalia's close encounter with the music of the spheres.

Then GOOP pump becomes President with this baggage: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jeremy-nix/an-open-letter-to-my-frie_2_b_9293694.html?

Wow! Berlusconi's double schlongs will be superseded by the singular 1776-stratospheric TV-robotic schlong - the new Trump Tower. Amazing!

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

I know thinking is hard for you grapes, but do you really think W was all that great? you really think we are better off because of the pure shit that Nader pulled? Keep talking stupid while the 1% take it all.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8342) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 8 years ago

Yes, Loreley of Virginia did. Fermentation begins. This is just semantics. I want the singular 1776-stratospheric TV-robotic schlong - the new Trump Tower, erected. I like the premium brand of the U.S.A. refreshed, with a supermodel beauty on it, as Shule had wanted.

At least we'll have someone who can understand the languages, unlike our very stupid linguistic and cultural blindspot after 2001-9-11 attacks that might have allowed the erroneous invasion of Iraq in 2003 to proceed. Since the very inbred donkey has fallen into a coma, I'm looking forward to the formation of the less-inbred more-hybridized Neanderthal-, Denisovan-, enriched A.S.S. (die amerikanische Staatssicherheit).
