Bad day?

Ha ha...I would tell you to let it out but I see it is all out there

Well he is the gateway country music...one minute the thunder rolls next thing you know you could be hee hawing to some serious twanging

He is not my battle...more serious fish to fry but we all have to have at least one case of unexplained hatred for at least one person out there....but Garth? Ok

Though celebrities are wealthy I tend to think of them like people that won the lottery and honed a talent innate with a skill above norm from most...they weren't scheming and fucking over the system stepping on throats (well other than maybe competitors) sometimes they use their public position as a voice for others (like what Obama was supposed to do but doesn't)...I haven't seen this Garth story though but I'll take your word it might not be wholly selfless

Two more examples involving five well known FAKE HUMANITARIAN celebrity pigs which prove they are not the altruistic angels they make themselves out to be. Two more examples which PROVE that it's all about getting PAID.

The first subprime loans were issued in 1994. It was a gimmick to sell more homes, artificially inflate the market, sell more homes at higher profits, foreclose on those who could not pay when the ARM rates readjusted, take their homes leaving them with nothing to show for their payments, resell the homes at a higher profit and so on. It was a cruel and calculated plan to sell more homes and artificially inflate the market. Those loans were incredibly profitable for well over a decade before the house of cards finally collapsed. In the meantime, bankers got richer along with the richest one percent who made off with higher dividends. It was a sham.

The biggest player in the game was Countrywide. Endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, and Dr Phil. If you have their shows from '04' to '06' on tape, watch them again. All three were paid millions specifically to endorse Countrywide by name. The biggest sub-prime player in the game. They issued more ARM loans than anyone else. Foreclosing on those who could not make their monthly payments when the rates suddenly went through the roof. It was a cruel and calculated plan to sell more homes, artificially inflate the market, foreclose, and resell for a higher profit. The sham worked like a charm for 12 years before the house of cards finally fell in.

At this approximate time, the final batch of worthless paper was sold to unsuspecting investors.

Oprah, Ellen, and Dr Phil were paid millions for their endorsements. Ch'Ching!

They have always had their ignorant love-sick fans eating right out of their hands. This alone is irresponsible. But to stand there and tell their ignorant love-sick fans to run out and get a loan from the biggest rat in the industry. That's just sick.

These three pigs are not naive little uninformed twits like Paris Hilton. They are educated, informed, and extremely savvy mass media juggernauts. They knew damn well about predatory lending. It was a common phrase by then. Still, they stood there and endorsed the biggest sub-prime rat in the industry.

Bono is no humanitarian. In fact, he made millions from a shady deal with Live Nation in which other investors were made to subsidize his multi-million dollar stock options regardless of market value. The stock tanked BIG TIME, Bono unloaded, and those 'other' investors did in fact take giant losses in part, so the filthy disgusting rich multi-hundred-millionaire 'humanitarian' Bono would not have to.

Ch'Ching!

Just another rotten immoral disgusting trick perpetrated in the name of greed.

Madonna secured a similar deal with Live Nation. Ch'Ching!

If you still doubt my allegations regarding celebrity pigs and their FAKE HUMANITARIAN crap and utterly predictable publicity stunts, then read on.

You could also check the web to see what big movie premiers, concert tours, Broadway shows, ect are in the works and then just sit back and wait for the respective events, incidents, and circumstances to make the news. I can promise you they are being planned as we type to coincide with upcoming commercial promotions.

By the way, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, and at least another half dozen big name performers have also used cancer patients to promote their new albums and concert tours. Not to mention dozens of similar stunts involving the NFL, NASCAR, TV and Hollywood. I'm not exaggerating that one little bit. DOZENS OF THEM. All timed perfectly to coincide with the promotion of new concert tours, movies, TV shows, game seasons, ect.

It's all done for publicity but it's even more calculated than initial self promotion. It's also VERY BIG BUSINESS to affiliate with the healthcare industry. EVERY major media outlet is closely affiliated with healthcare and virtually every public figure. It's called 'cross promotion' and it's corrupt as hell. It's sort of like politicians doing political favors for campaign donors. But instead of taking advantage of tax payers, celebrities and their affiliates take advantage of consumers by dumbing them down in order to 'cross promote' products and services within the umbrella of corporate affiliation. Health care, at 17% of GDP is a juggernaut industry and the largest commercial sponsor which is why virtually all celebrities promote it but almost none of them have a single word of criticism for the industry.

Rob Schneider is a rare exception. He will pay dearly for the comments he made regarding the suicide of Robin Williams. He has already been chided by several public figures that I know of. All sold-out pigs. But if you read the comments made by ordinary people, it's like night and day.

http://www.newsmax.com/TheWire/rob-schneider-robin-wiliams-suicidal-parkinsons/2014/08/19/id/589535/

By the way, I don't know how rich Rob Schneider is or was but I will not make any excuses for him either. The very concept of extreme personal wealth is evil. Not because those with it intentionally cause harm but because they all refuse to acknowledge the harm they do by concentrating too much wealth.

I can promise you that Garth Brooks has inadvertently caused death simply by concentrating hundreds of millions of dollars. Suicide and crime rates in particular, are both directly related to wealth concentration.

[-] 3 points by elf3 (4203) 9 years ago

I think you are really mad at the media...for giving such credence to the most frivolous facet of society. I wish you'd focus the annoyance where it should be. Talking head s are the biggest asshole losers sellout suckholes society has ever produced...the entire notion of "reporting" is now a sham. We need to not only separate entertainment and art...we need to separate entertainment and news/ reporting. It has never been this bad either...the consolidation of media outlets and telecom is just plain dangerous. They are information empires. And since nazi germany have we ever seen such corrupt agenda piercing directly into so many people. The very idea that backers pay them and control what they dish out threatening to pull spots is just scary. The fact that net neutrality is endangered and without it we certainly wouldn't be having this conversation or even this website...since Comcast and Verizon want to package it all off like cable...paying for packages of sites as well as giving large payers faster connections while the smaller people will be like dial up ...waiting. in society information is everything ...it is the ultimate control and access to the ultimate spread of agenda and propaganda. Its why corporation are winning and why society is worse than ever. The counter culture is bleeding through though...as much as ws tries to crush us - our message is spreading.

[-] 0 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

Yes, I am disgusted at the media and for exactly the reason you stated. I appreciate your position but I still see those public figures as a plague. I will do everything I can to offset their efforts to make people stupid. Nothing but brain-dead consumers.

That is the best explanation of net neutrality, I've read. If the pigs have their way, then we will lose what little influence we do have on the web.

We better damn well win this one.

Try to imagine how you would feel if you had a distant cousin who would show up predictably every single time your senile grandmother got her Social Security check and put on a fake smile, tell fake jokes, pay fake compliments, and make fake promises while accepting money from that senile grandmother every single time they show up.

Try to imagine how you would feel if your grandmother really couldn't afford to hand out money but did so because she was under the false impression that your distant cousin adored her. Try to imagine how you would feel if your distant cousin spent the money given by your senile grandmother on fancy clothes, jewelry, ect while your senile grandmother could just barely make ends meet.

Try to imagine how you would feel if you were the only member of your large family who didn't appreciate your distant cousin taking advantage of your senile grandmother. The others thought you were crazy or jealous or both.

Multiply your frustration by 7,000,000,000.

That's how I feel about celebrities. They are taking advantage of the whole fucking world in order to maintain their lavish lifestyles. Unfortunately, I am one of very, very, VERY FEW who see them for what they truly are. To say that it's frustrating would be a colossal understatement.

I am not imagining this. I've been paying very close attention for a very long time.

I read once that the thing you hate most in another is secretly the thing you hate most in yourself. This would indicate your greatest fear about yourself is that you are selling out or deceiving others in earning a living? I've got friends in low places...and the beer chases my blueues awaaay....to make you feel better have a listen to Don Maclean (I think garth used to)

[-] -1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

That doesn't make any sense to me. Otherwise, the obese would hate the obese. I'm not a sell-out and I never will be. I still appreciate the advice you posted 8 hours ago.

I do hate what society has become. It's more commercial than ever, more corrupt than ever and the masses are dumber than ever. I want out of it desperately. But I would probably just shut myself out of it to the extent possible before taking my life. If I get too close, I'll just take another long break. So don't worry about me. I'll be fine.

[-] 2 points by elf3 (4203) 9 years ago

I totally agree about society...but it depends where you are as well and if you can find a niche doing something that makes you happy you will feel more purpose and care less. But I think too it has always been this way....artists have been railing against the system for ages. I almost think what would they do without this system that wholly conflicts with their values ...would all the angst refocus on something else? Or would creativity flourish? Find your thing...and you'll find peace. The angst turns into a fuel instead of drowning you when you have purpose and passion.

[-] 2 points by elf3 (4203) 9 years ago

That's because they are sell out suckholes ...generally the public frowns on them you aren't alone...despite what msm would have us all believe ala Hunger Games ...think about this though: as much of a fishbowl little planet we live in you and I have the luxury of going anywhere and being anonymous. We can start fresh in a new city and reinvent ourselves. Celebrities will never ever have a fresh start or privacy again...the must live in a smaller fishbowl in the fishbowl. I can't imagine a greater torture. They probably start selling out once they make real wealth because all that private security to keep stalkers and paparazzi away costs shitloads to maintain. So being that they are followed and stalked ...anywhere they go short of the moon they are trapped in a vicious cycle of endless asskissing, schmoozing, selling out, and trying to keep from killing themselves when they realized it isn't really what people crack it up to be. They just followed a passion for something natural to them and got ensnared in a great big trap. Poor fuckers. And then you have celebutants (whole other category) I don't feel so bad for them. Useless whores.

[-] 0 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

Garth Brooks had it made already with a huge estate and a fortune of several hundred million dollars. He didn't pull this crap out of necessity of any kind. He just wants more.

That pretty much sums up the current generation of celebrity pigs. They are every bit as greedy and corrupt as politicians and CEOs. The only real difference is the packaging.

[-] 1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

I just read a headline making reference to a 'free concert' for veterans. Sounds real nice doesn't it? Oh how noble those performers must be to sacrifice their time and effort for the veterans right?

Not so fast. On a hunch. No, on a CERTAINTY, I did a quick check. Every single performer mentioned in the headline is promoting a new album. and by 'new', I don't mean within weeks of dropping. I mean within DAYS.

As usual, AS ALWAYS, the celebrities involved can't do a God damn thing without an ulterior motive. All three of them just saved a fortune over the cost of traditional advertising. ALL THREE OF THEM.

That's right. They just got their names plastered all over the media along with plenty of praise for their idiot fans to lap up, and of course, PLUGS FOR THEIR NEW ALBUMS AND TOURS.

There are no more excuses to be ignorant. After all, I'm not making repeated reference to a curious pattern. I'm making repeated reference to an ASTONISHING pattern.

Big celebrity. New product. New publicity stunt. PERIOD.

[-] 1 points by Narley (272) 9 years ago

Damn, you need to chill. Do you hate all successful and wealthy entertainers; or just Garth? Maybe it's just country music stars you don't like.

In any case your anger is other the top. Not to mention that it may not have been a stunt. I mean maybe it was a sincere act of kindness. Would that change your mind?

For what it's worth Garth was a bouncer in a cowboy bar in Oklahoma when he started singing. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. I'm not a big Garth fan, but your slanderous comments are too much. You should apologize for even posting such a thread.

Man's got him down...this is a place for malcontents right? Hard not to be depressed ...to prozac or not to prozac? It evokes images of soma for me at least...any positives ? Feels like rolling over and playing feed the pharmaceutical industry but I suppose there are worse fates ( like being a celebrity!) Or being unable to see beyond all this? We do have to take care of ourselves take breaks and support eachother too. Maybe we need a health check...sound off ? (Mental mic/ mans got me down forum) occupy takes stamina...it is a mind set and living outside the matrix. It is a lonely place to be . Unless you have friends...this should not just be a place to cry fowl ...we should be a kind of home base support for like minded people.

[-] -1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

Gee what a shock. More grade school psychology. No it doesn't have a damn thing to do with the style of music. It's got everything to do with Earth shattering greed and the deliberate dumbing down of society.

No it wasn't sincere. It never is with celebrities who pull this crap. I've been paying close attention for nearly a decade. There have been dozens of stunts like this arranged by celebrities and their agents. They always, always, always, always, ALWAYS take place just as they are promoting a new movie, TV show, DVD, Broadway show, new album, new tour, Vegas residency, fashion line, book, ect.

It's too late for Garth and his agents to change my mind but I will delete this page if and when he acknowledges the fact that his 'cancer victim' just saved him MILLIONS over the cost of traditional advertising and gives that money directly to her. I'm not kidding. She just saved him at least $10,000,000 by getting his name and image plastered all over the media worldwide along with glorious praise and plugs for his new celebrity pig fake cowboy tour.

There is no way in holy hell that he would ever do that but my guess is that he will do something in order to counter this criticism sometime relatively soon. Occupy isn't what it used to be but this is the official site and we are still being watched. All big celebrities have agents, publicists, and commercial advisers to help craft and maintain their commercial images. All of them without exception. In this case they arranged the publicity stunt in order to promote the new tour and probably as a favor to the healthcare industry (all big celebrities and all major media outlets are closely affiliated with heathcare.). Of course, they are gauging the effects as we type in order to plan any budget adjustments for advertising. If they aren't aware of this page and my own already, they will be soon.

My guess is that something will be done to counter the criticism. It may be material or monetary in nature or he may order his people to keep track of the 'cancer victim' and wait for some excuse to cancel a show and fly off to give the illusion of 'priority'. That would be somewhat costly and inconvenient but it would pay for itself in the long run and give my critics something to throw in my face. Not that I would be phased. I know how these pigs think. They are incredibly calculated. and before you run with another assumption, let me type this for the record. If ANY celebrity or ANYONE for that matter EVER tried to pay me off, I would get their sorry asses on record and make it public.

The day I sell-out on the most important issue to me and that threatening society is the day I end my life. Period.

I don't care what the fake cowboy did when he was still a real person. He isn't anymore. Greed ruins everything and everyone. No exceptions. Look what it's done to Obama. He is nowhere near as noble as he was 6 years ago. McCain, Kerry, Bono, ect. You name the public figure who once had real character. If they are filthy rich now, it's gone.

I won't apologize for a damn word and it's not slander. I am sick of filthy disgusting rich wealth concentrating celebrities and their daily barrage of publicity stunts. But I will delete this page if the fake cowboy acknowledges the MILLIONS he just saved over the cost of traditional advertising and makes it right by giving it to her so that she and/or her family won't have to worry about the OBSCENE PROFIT HEALTHCARE CHARGES for years to come.

and don't feed me some crap that she can't handle the truth or that it shouldn't be suggested. She doesn't need the fake love of a fake cowboy multi-hundred-millionaire celebrity pig. She needs the genuine support of her family and friends. They love her. Not the fake cowboy promoting his new tour. anyway, I'm not doing this for one person. I'm doing it for society. The masses desperately need a wake-up call. Their world is going to crash in a big way because of greed.

By the way, why the hell did you join this site? It sure as hell isn't to support the cause otherwise you wouldn't be defending a multi-hundred-millionaire so passionately. So why did you join?

[-] 2 points by Narley (272) 9 years ago

Did you know Garth’s mother and older sister died of cancer. Did you know Garth gave half a million dollars to the hospital where Garth’s mother was treated so they could build a Women’s center. And the hospital used the money on something else, so Garth sued and got his money back?

My point is I’m inclined to believe the cancer victim incident at the concert was a sincere gesture of kindness.

To link Garth’s money to the greedy 1% is a stretch. Having money does not automatically make you a robber baron. Some people actually honestly earn their money. No, I’m not apologizing for the greedy 1%, but you seem to be saying having money makes you evil. That’s just not true.

I am concerned when I see threads like this that just go off the deep end. I believe fanatical hate speech is part of what caused people not to follow OWS. No one will follow crazy people.

[-] -1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

I knew that his mom died of cancer and it makes no difference. Well, actually it does if you consider the timing of the $500,000 publicity stunt and the lawsuit refund. Garth's claim in court was that he wanted a new building to be named after his mother who died SIX YEARS PRIOR in 1999, in other words, after a figure tied directly to him, the big celebrity with the same last name and a new product to promote. Actually, an entire catalog. That was the year of his big Wal-Mart deal. Yes, that 'gift' or 'contract' according to Brooks was carefully timed as well. They always are.

With an entire catalog released by Wal-Mart that year, the $500,000 publicity stunt paid for itself many times over. The effects were calculated in advance. Otherwise, it never would have been given. Again, his mother died SIX YEARS PRIOR. The timing makes no sense whatsoever until you consider the multi-million dollar Wall-Mart deal. Then, it makes perfect sense.

Why pay an advertising firm six or seven figures plus more for ad space all over the world to promote your name and partial comeback? Just make a well publicized 'gift' and let the worldwide media do it for you. Later, once the effects wear off, you can sue to get your money back (funny how the deal was never put in writing) and use that story to promote your HUGE Vegas residency deal. Ch'Ching!

By the way, Brooks kept the refund. He has been one of the richest celebrities on Earth for years but he has NEVER made the 'most generous' list. Not even once. Not even close enough for an honorable mention. Fortunately for Brooks, his fans have always been too stupid to do the math.

Fast forward 2 1/2 years to the next carefully timed publicity stunt.

If the multi-hundred-millionaire FAKE COWBOY celebrity pig truly cared about the cancer victim, then he would have given her the $10,000,000 or so that she saved him over the cost of traditional advertising just by showing up at his commercially motivated request.

If your mother was fighting cancer and you had the money to spare EASILY MANY TIMES OVER to cover her OUTRAGEOUS bills for years to come, would you pony up and cover her bills or would you just sing her a song that you were being paid to sing anyway?

Having money does not necessarily make you a robber baron. Having several hundred million dollars does. You can not 'earn' that much money in a lifetime. Not by any moral or logical standard. If you intend to claim otherwise, then I challenge you to answer the following questions:

How many children would a firefighter have to save in order to 'earn' several hundred million dollars?

How many lives would a paramedic have to save in order to 'earn' several hundred million dollars?

How many cops dying in the line of duty would it take to have combined 'earnings' of several hundred million dollars?

Again, you simply can not 'earn' several hundred million dollars. Certainly not by donning a $500 fake cowboy hat and strumming a guitar.

Having money does not necessarily make you evil. Having several hundred million dollars does. Again, extreme wealth concentration causes actual hardship, economic instability, social instability, and death. Those who don't have the courage to admit this, have a giant conflict of interest. It's called extreme personal wealth and it damn well does make you evil. Not for intentionally causing actual hardship, economic instability, social instability, and death but for concentrating obscene wealth regardless.

My hate is damn well justified. If more people felt the way I do, then our Nation's wealth, hell, our WORLD'S wealth never would have become so concentrated to begin with. The same goes for life sustaining resources.

Extreme personal wealth is the single greatest obstacle between poverty and prosperity, War and peace. Death and life.

It's gone way too far and I will not tone down my attitude for you or anyone else.

[-] -1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

UPDATE: Gee what a shock. Brooks just couldn't settle for the $10,000,000 or so the cancer victim had already saved him over the cost of traditional advertising. He arranged for her to appear with him on ET as well in order to sell a few more tickets. Ch'Ching!

Still no sharing whatsoever of the $10,000,000+ that cancer victim has saved him (so far) over the cost of traditional advertising.

You should live as bad as things get you won't get to see if they get better...anything can happen. Sometimes life turns as quick as that. One minute it is not worth the bother...the next you would take all of that bad just to have the life that was around that corner. You could end it ...but why not wait and see what's the harm...everyone is going to die...may as well wait and see. It would be a shame...if you were days away from something great. The world is screwed up...but you have to live what's gonna happen if all the people who realize that decide to die? Live for you...follow your heart - that's what you can bring to the world because the world won't change only you can and when others see you living authentically they may too. Don't let anyone (least of all Garth) get you down.

http://www.gossipcop.com/garth-brooks-sued-lisa-sanderson-lawsuit-fraud-money/

I'll note that Brooks won the lawsuit. But then again, it doesn't prove a damn thing. After all, OJ and his team of greedy pig attorneys beat the state of California on a murder charge. Michael Jackson beat child molestation charges. Afterward, several members of the jury said that he was probably guilty but that they weren't absolutely sure. There have been a number of high profile cases in which charges were beat on technicalities.

I've personally witnessed this sort of injustice. As an eye witness a few years back, I knew first hand what actually took place. However, the most compelling evidence from another eye witness along with video footage was thrown out on a technicality. This sort of thing happens all the time. Criminal and civil. The party with more money or in the case of celebrities, commercial image influence, always has the advantage.

I already know that Garth Brooks is not the altruistic angel he makes himself out to be. My guess is that the allegations made against him were true.

Type what you want about me. But I've just been proven right again.

I'm telling you for the thousandth time, we live in a world of greed, corruption, deceit, and outright fraud. Your precious and beloved celebrities are no exception.

http://www.mail.com/entertainment/music/3202548-vanessa-mae-banned-fixed-olympic-qualifiers.html#.7518-stage-set1-2

Type what you want about me but I'll never be one of the IDIOTS who say "How could this happen? How could my favorite celebrity be involved?"

I'll tell you how. Greed. My guess is that it's a bit deeper than one celebrity pop star hoping for a trophy to show off. It probably has more to do with potential ratings and endorsement deals.

I'm telling you for the thousandth time, we live in a world of greed, corruption, deceit, and outright fraud. Your precious and beloved celebrities are no exception.

Next.
