Newt is trying to appeal to his conservative base in order to win the Republican nomination, but his arrogant remark will ensure that he loses the general election if he ever gets that far.

It is known that : the honest is oppressed; take bribes ; as trample poor law; the poor are despised. Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

I think he's trying to say the good and honest people remain oppressed while those that defy the law and believe they are above it, continue to take the brides to continue these practices.

The poorer we get, the more society looks down upon on.

Gingrich should have gotten out of politics a long time ago. He has been viewed a s nutjob since the 80s. He's more like a cheap knickknack from a garage sale.

Its sad that between him amd romney thats the best the republicans have. I am so fed up with politics, i dont know what to think of obama anymore but the republicans only offer an out of touch freak show. Its very disheartening. Twidle democrats and twiddle dumb republicans. La la out of touch. Playing partisan politics with the budget while the markets collapse... la la la out of touch
