The whole concept of using really mean and personal ad-hominem attacks while fighting over whether to use blogs or whether to use wikis doesn't seem ridiculous to anybody else?

The Butter Battle Book tells the story of a land where two hostile cultures, the Yooks and the Zooks, live on opposite sides of a long curving wall. The Yooks wear blue clothes; the Zooks wear orange. The main dispute between the two cultures is that the Yooks, who live on one side of the wall, eat their bread with the butter-side up, while the Zooks, who live on the other side, eat their bread with the butter-side down. The conflict between the two sides leads to an arms race, each competing to make bigger and better weapons to outdo the other, which results in the threat of mutual assured destruction.

IMHO you should just learn to appreciate the guy for the comedy entertainment that he provides. He's obviously really unbalanced. He's extremely paranoid and he calls anybody who doesn't agree with him a "con scam". He's almost single-handedly creating a HUGE wiki full of craziness that he thinks that people are going to read. If you're the latest con scam that he's railing against then just enjoy the free publicity, and free entertainment. I come to this site sometimes just to keep up with the guy because he's so entertaining. He was part of my first introduction to OWS, two months ago. Interacting with him formed an opinion in my mind about the movement that unfortunately never changed.

Personally I thought that one was hilarious. Almost as funny as imagining the mind of the kind of person who would engage in the whole concept of sock puppet mimicry. He's creating a movement of one in that wiki, using the word "we" a lot when he the only real contributor, and that's a third totally hilarious thing. Here's a fourth one: the phrase, "autodidactic aspie with 20 phds worth of knowledge". The comedy is there for you to enjoy, if you allow yourself.

richard is a con scam troll, trying to lure people over to his site, in order to marginalize them.
