They don't see rest of us as Americans, they will not share the wealth with the undesirables, they will form social classes by oppressing people; because they have both foreign and domestic agenda, to divide, and to conquer, to control human kind. Socialism has always been the enemy number one, because there is no benefit to society from some people building mansions and ruling others. In real life, we owe our existence to all other life forms who occupy the world, none of us deserves more than others unless one makes other people lives better. Economics lied, it was the empire and the dollar which brought prosperity, now the empire is falling, and it is time to share the wealth, provide opportunities to everybody, so people can prosper. Nobody can own piece of this world, unless it is consented by the people that one person having piece of Earth benefits all human kind. It boosts the economy when everybody has a shot at becoming scientists, doctors, and lawyers. It is time to bring social justice! It is time to redistribute the wealth to create real equality and prosperity in this country. Otherwise we will become servants of the ruling elite when the empire is gone, and they have nobody to exploit but the American people.

The OP is a great example of why I have given up on OWS. Instead of focusing on reforms to defeat the nexus of corruption between wall street and washington, the movement tilts toward socialist fantasies.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

Because it is the solution. It is not possible to stop the corruption of wealthy and powerful without giving people voice, power, equality by redistributing the opportunities. Revolution is needed to bring balance of power which would dare to stop corruption and decline.

[-] 1 points by Kevabe (81) 12 years ago

It never was really about the issues we are all concerned with. The OWS chronies only used it as bait to push their socialist agenda.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

The purpose is harmonious productive and equal society whatever you call it.

[-] 2 points by barb (835) 12 years ago

They are not going to ever share their wealth with us since the only thing they do care about is the power that money buys them. They are destroying America and they are destroying our environment that we all depend on.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

The plan is not to share the wealth and power with the undesirables. Some people are growing in numbers and they are not seen as real Americans who deserve to be prosperous. These groups will become the servant class once the classes are formed and police state enforces it.

[-] 2 points by barb (835) 12 years ago

The plan is to obtain the last bit of money they can out of the masses so they can control them even more then they do now. This system cannot possibly manage this many people alive today without making them extremely poor.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

Earth population will stabilize and there is enough for everybody to enjoy education, culture, opportunity, equality, prosperity and give back to society. But some are planning to become kings and queens, not to share the wealth, not to provide equality and opportunity for people in the expense of 99%.

[-] 1 points by barb (835) 12 years ago

That is a misconception, there are too many people living right now and we are pushing other species to extinction. You cannot have the opportunity for growth or new ideas to form with this many people and that is why we are heading back to when there were Kings and Queens controlling the poor. The poor were ignorant then with no education at all and that is why now our education is becoming pathetic in that young people are not being pushed to learn more and are getting their degrees but still no nothing when they enter the work force that is dwindling anyway.

[-] 0 points by pinker (586) 12 years ago

Where do they meet to discuss this diabolical plan? Or is it an innate unspoken agreement?

[-] 2 points by barb (835) 12 years ago

The corporations own our government now and that is obvious. Both of these entities knew and were warned beforehand of what the NAFTA and GATT agreements would create in the future which is what we are experiencing now. They knew they should improve education and lower college tuition so more could attend college which they didn't do. The housing bubble was created on purpose before people felt the effect of all the jobs leaving our country and that is why it became a crisis. Then to top it all off they stuck us with the bill in a deficit that we must pay back in higher taxes.

This is just a few examples of screwing us over so what more proof do you need to believe what their intentions are?

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

Wizard of Oz, behind the curtain, robbing us off our wealth, sovereignty, and dignity. If we don't do anything we will end up in a global world of masters and servant. Many rights to dignity has already disappear in the U.S. I believe the master plan is a lot bigger than that and includes stealing the freedoms of all human kind.

[-] 0 points by pinker (586) 12 years ago

So it was an unspoken agreement or an actual plan? The plan was to create a citizenry of poor that were too weak to struggle?

[-] 1 points by barb (835) 12 years ago

Most likely both!

[-] 2 points by LSN45 (535) 12 years ago

In my opinion, we don't need "Wealth redistribution," what we need first and foremost is "Political Influence Redistribution." I'm not saying that those who have illegally obtained ill, gotten gains should not be pursued, punished, and have what was stolen returned, but I'm not for general redistribution (although some redistribution will happen automatically when the rich and powerful can no longer use their money to buy off politicians and slant our political process in their favor.) I have no problem with people making lots of money, as long as they do so without undermining our republic and disenfranchising the American voter. Here is my 2 cents:

There are a lot of improvements that need to be made. The list reforms people Americans want to see is long and varied depending on who you talk to. That said, I believe there is one reform that would provide the American people the best chances of seeing other meaningful reforms actually happen - that is REAL, loop-hope free CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM! I have seen others on this site calling this the "fulcrum" or pivotal issue. Right now the current legalized bribery, pay-to-play system of campaign donations and paid lobbyists has disenfranchised the American voter. Until this is fixed, any other reform the politicians may try to placate us with (be it a change to healthcare, clamping down predatory school loans, new financial regulations, etc.) will be about as effective as a farmer putting a new roof on his CHICKEN COOP, but still letting the FOX guard it.

We need to go back to the original political currency. Instead of the current system of who can collect the most money from corporations and special interests it should be who has the BEST IDEAS to EFFECTIVELY RUN THE COUNTRY (we don't need "Wealth Redistribution," what we need is "Political Influence Redistribution")!

For the sake our our children and future generations of Americans, we need to take back our democracy from the rich and powerful who are using their vast sums of money to "speak" as if they represent millions of Americans. This "Corporate Personhood" that has crept into our laws is allowing them to manipulating our policies in their favor at the expense of the average American (the recent "Citizens United" Supreme Court ruling is a miscarriage of justice and must be reversed. The $50 or $100 a normal American may give to a political campaign becomes meaningless when corporations or other special interests are handing our millions to buy political access to the decision making process.

For decades now the corporations and special interests have had our "representatives" bought and paid for (both on the right and the left). Concentrating our efforts on getting the money out of our politics is the best way we can create an environment in which further reforms can be realized. Until we end the current system of legalized bribery (campaign donations) and paid lobbying our politicians will continue to be the LAP DOGS of the corporations and special interests. What we need first and foremost is real, loop-hole free CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM!!!! If the corruption is not dealt with first, the chance of any other meaningful reforms becoming a reality is almost zero - the special interests will just use their money to buy votes and put forward bills that create loop-holes or otherwise twist the law in their favor. If we want our children to live in a country where there vote matters, we need to get the money out of our politics, otherwise they will increasingly become the 21st century version of the "landless peasant." Spread the word - End the LEGALIZED BRIBERY!!! CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM needs to be THE main goal of the protests!!!

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

I agree with all the facts, and I believe number one target is political equality based on vote, equal representation promised by democracy. However you are never politically equal with the guy who has a mansion around the corner and another one in Hawaii where he can entertain his quests. While I believe that a human being should be awarded based on his contribution to human kind on the one hand, I also believe everyone should have equality of opportunity on the other hand. Society is not politically equal, some people always have huge power on other people, whether you call it slavery, feudalism or modern peasantry. How can we bring dignity to people's lives and let them prosper? How can we stop evil agenda of some group of people to exploit other group of people whether it is capitalism, aristocracy or democracy? Democracy does not work when there is neither meritocracy or equality of opportunity. It does not work, as mentioned in your writings, when people and their votes are not politically equal. You will see change which you wouldn't believe because it was all lies. It was the empire and dollar. When it is all gone, you will see this country struggle to create productive and prosperous society because all theory was a lie. In real life you tax, redistribute so everybody has a change to become excellent in sciences, arts or in medicine, than you can prosper. We did not need an excellent economic system because we had an empire. The agenda is to keep undesirables down, to form social classes so one group can enjoy aristocracy when others become oppressed and powerless. They don't see rest of us as Americans anyway. Remember Obama is a Muslim and illegal immigrant we should get rid of according to some. Resources, wealth will be used to keep the empire, power and privileges because we are special, it will not be used to form meritocracy or equality. If we do not redistribute now based on the assumption that nobody can have piece of this world without contributing to society or without consent of humanity, our civilization will collapse in the very near future due to money we spend on wars, to keep the empire of the few.

We gotta come up with a means of trade before the dollar implodes. What will we use? Don't tell me gold cuz the same pricks that own these banks also have most of the worlds gold.

Reading a lot of George Orwell lately? One of my favorite Writers. Great Post!!! We all need to learn from the ones who helped shaped a generation's imagination & future back then; the ones who gave turmoil and hope at the same time; and also spellled out what could be our future; unless, we get a grip, and finally CLOSE the Wall Street Casinos! And we will FINALLY do it--Cheers to all!

Redistribute wealth by CREATING Occupy video systems, Occupy communications satellites, by creating Internet wealth distribution systems. Wealth can be distributed with Occupy alone, without the 1%.

[-] 1 points by nickhowdy (1104) 12 years ago

Wealth is a perception..The true wealth is that the people and their numbers know it for the con that it is and rise up together against the people who would be our oppressors.

They may have gold or money, but they cannot beat down the 99% unless we let them.

[-] 1 points by owsleader2011 (304) 12 years ago

I always ask this but never get a response.

IF OWS re-distributes the wealth, who will they send door-to-door to plunder? The COPS? THE same cops that now spray your face with chemical's?

H L Mencken had a great quote about Elections he said "ALL ELECTIONS ARE ADVANCED AUCTIONS OF STOLEN GOODS"

See throughout time all elections are based on one group promising to steal from another, when one party win's they follow through sometimes and steal and then pass the gains to their party constitutents, thus its TRUE all fucking elections are advanced auction of stolen goods.

THE OWS is making the BIGGEST NAZI promise in HUMAN history, its promising that if they get POWER, that they're going to ROB everyone, albeit to date they REFUSE to name who is going to be robbed. ALL so convenient for the day of reckoning.

Thankfully MOST people are not this stupid, only the children. Thus they'll go to the streets and die, and TRULY rich people, simply WIRE their money abroad where its safe in SWISS or SINGAPORE the only 2 true AAA currency's on earth.

It's all TRUE the USA is going down and hard, but promising to loot homes is an age old election promise, but most dictator's of past have named names or the very least they 'front load' the debate with rhetoric such as FORD did with jews some 10+ years before the Nazi's took power.

This will be a long war, and the OWS needs to DEMONIZE needs to find the new Jew, or HOMOSEXUAL, ... or Gypsy. To date they're quite careful NOT to blame cops, or prison guards or any unions, ... as they're smart enough to know that they're counting on the cops to do their future robbing of homes.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

What is destroying U.S. is the hypocrisy which claims the poor want to rob the rich where in fact the rich is exploiting the poor. Top 1% has half of wealth of U.S. and top 0.1% has the quarter of the wealth. It is time for revolution or we will face modern slavery in the near future which will come as a bundle with the police state and the big brother.

[-] 0 points by owsleader2011 (304) 12 years ago

Been this way forever, read 'richest man in babylon', in all populations in all human time the vast majority never save or plan, and the minority do, and in all history of civilization, all civilizations collapse because after a few generations just a few familys have all the poker chips, ... always been this way,

What makes you all so self righteous you can change human history and behavior?

HYPOCRISY? WHo really believes this SHIT? USA is #1, or USA is the the best?? Nobody in the world believes that shit. NOBODY.

HYPOCRISY? WHo believes that the USA is a democracy? Never was ever, read Tocqueville from 1880's he made it clear that US was never a democracy, nor would never be, all Europeans read this shit, how come US citizens don't even know their own fucking history??

It's NOT hypocrisy, its a NATION OF LIARS.

But getting back to the 1%, or 3%, this is true for all nations on EARTH, its a variable constant with human populations, 95% toil, 2-3% steal, and 2-3% save&plan. It's the same with rat populations or monkeys.

Once a few monkeys have all the food, there is war or riot or re-distribution.

The USA because of NUKES was able to rob the world, historically they would have been counter-robbed generations ago, ...

There are good books on civilization, ... "Decline of the West", ... "Rise and Fall of Rome", ... all written more than 100 years ago, and true then as now, on WHY all civilizatons for 2,000+ years collapse.

They collapse cuz their money becomes worthless. Once the money is worthless the food is no longer sent to the city's and the city's become ghost towns. This is the future for the USA and its happening before your very eyes in high speed. In no time in history has a currency collapsed so quick as the USA.

So re-distribute the wealth from the 1% to the 99% in what US dollars that NOBODY in the world will want?

The #1 problems with ameriKKKan's is they don't know about history, they're all just morons to be fed to the mercenary army

I agree that the dollar will collapse. Above video shows that 600 trillion dollars have already been created out of thin air. If we keep dollar, we will give these guys 600 trillion dollars because they somehow created it out of thin air legally. We will be slaves forever if we keep the dollar.

[-] 0 points by owsleader2011 (304) 12 years ago

No it was NOT created, but I guess that you could call a debt and they DO.

What they did was sell INSURANCE to cover all the worlds DEBT and that insurance sold covers $600Trillion USD, trouble is NOBODY has ever made a claim, cuz the money of course ain't there, nobody has $10T let alone $600T.

The Insurance companys that sold this insurance largely AIG & LEHMAN, and GS, well LEHMAN went down in 2008 and US government covered the bad bets to a tune of $20T out of the back door of the FED-RESERVE.

But what's happening now with the collapse of EUROPE, is that its another $30 T due, and of course uncle-sam ain't going to cover, and EUROPE can't pull money out of its ass like the USA ( just print the shit ).

The $600T insurance makes it possible to SELL debt to the world and call it 'AAA' rated of course the insurance companys collected the premiums and spent the money, but there never was any thing in escrow to cover the claims, so far whenever claims are made they have been covered by 'governments', which is why everybody is pissed off.

This time in 2012 nobody can cover which means everybody in the world loses all their money, as all government money in the world is 'invested' in these bad debts, which nobody can possibly pay back.

THE USA is in debt to the tune of $200 TRILLION dollars, and with a GDP of about $10T a year, it becomes a mathematical certainly that when interest rates go back up to 5% that all the money in the USA would have to go to pay the interest on the debt, thus this is WHY EVERYONE IS FUCKED.

Redistribution of wealth is not the answer and would never work, that is a fact that alot of people on here need to understand.

[-] 1 points by BigMoney (10) 12 years ago

Tim Tebow had no money. Now he has a lot of money. How did that happen? Probably by occupying Wall Street. He is both the 99% and the 1%. Woah.

[-] 1 points by Edgewaters (912) 12 years ago

It depends on what you mean. Limited redistribution schemes do work, such as those used in normal social safety nets across the Western world after the war - when the strongest economies and highest standards of living ever known in all of human history emerged. You can have a mixed economy and make it work. In fact, it works fantastic, especially if you want to develop a high-skilled workforce for a technologically advanced economy. Much better than primitive 19th century economies.

But the idea of a gift economy where it's all share and share alike is rather silly. It's one thing to provide benefits so the destitute don't starve to death, subsidize education, provide for the old and so on; it's another thing to start talking about everyone having the same amount of money no matter how much or how little they produce. Nobody would bother to produce anything. Hard work must be rewarded.

[-] 0 points by Tinhorn (285) 12 years ago

I agree with a possible limited redistribution, unfortunatly, the majority of the people on here are calling for a complete redistribution. One post even suggested that the mandatory wage for all Americans be $115,000. I asked if he/she would include inmates at our prisons the same and the answer was yes.

[-] 1 points by Edgewaters (912) 12 years ago

I wouldn't say the "majority" (how can we tell what a majority opinion is here?). But yes there is an element of unknown size proposing such things. But the way I see it, they don't matter. It's pie-in-the-sky stuff. If they ever get a consensus on their demands, it won't make it in. If, by some freakish chance it did, they would lose their broad base of public support and come crashing down and be totally irrelevant. So no matter which way you look at it, opinions like that are not important - except in the sense they could cause OWS to lose a great deal of support.

[-] 0 points by Tinhorn (285) 12 years ago

Ok, I say majority because those are typically the ones I engage about it. Maybe the wrong choice of words to use.

Socialism towards the bottom 10% keeps the undesirables from rioting.

The middle class is gonna get the squeeze of a lifetime...

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

Middle class will disappear, it will be the elite and the rest of us.

[-] -1 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

You are a menace. I hope you will take the time to study your ideas and imagine them in action. Try a commune or a agricultural co-op. If these work with any degree of success, then spread the word, offer ideas so other people can try similar ideas. Then make adjustments to your utopian ideas so that they might work in areas of industry, intellectual pursuits, medicine, etc. Once you do this, then expand and spread these ideas to other countries with different cultures. Once we see success, then perhaps I will listen. Until then, please quit talking about sharing the wealth. If you or your like were to come to my door, you would not get a piece of my wealth, you would get a bullet in the brain.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

It seems like you don't have anything to share with the society but your bullets. Please save them for yourself!

[-] -1 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

Actually, I do. I am a middle class citizen with a job. My job requires that I offer services to customers who walk through the door. I put forth 100% of my effort, not for altruistic purposes, but because it will benefit the business. No wealth redistrubtion there. I want to make a dollar and the customer wants service that will help them. That is a fair trade and the highest ideal that can be achieved in America. Wealth redistribution means taking money from the producers and giving it to the parasites and I will shoot anyone who tries that as I would shoot any criminal who breaks into my house. There are individuals with good ideas on this site. I am sorry, but you are not one of them if your statements are representative of your philosophy.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

I understand that you want to shoot people and you have guns but I do not respect that since my purpose is to give lives and opportunities to all human kind! Respect human kind and treat them with dignity, you will get a lot better world than this one. Human kind stays on the shoulder of giants and it is in really hopeless situation currently. We need to change things immediately before the planet is destroyed by the people who are armed and dangerous like yourself!

[-] 0 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

Which giants are you talking about?

[-] 0 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

Because my interpretation of "shoulders of giants" is the producers of wealth paying for a potential welfare state of the sort that promotes social equality

Redistribute your own wealth. Just because you are stupid enough to believe the lies in Das Kapital doesn't mean the rest of us are. Take your murderous beliefs somewhere else.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

It is really about a world without wars and murder where all resources of nature can be used to give people better lives!

[-] 0 points by MVSN (768) from Stockton, CA 12 years ago

No it is not. Marxism is the most murderous political system ever foisted upon the earth. Nazi's couldn't even dream of murdering as many people as marxists have killed.

[-] 1 points by ContinuationofEarth (220) 12 years ago

Please don't make the mistake of taking all these as Marxism. It is a social movement for equality and prosperity. It is about saving the future of this country as an equal and prosperous society.

[-] -1 points by MVSN (768) from Stockton, CA 12 years ago

By no means am I mistaking this whole movement? I'm referring to your original post.

[-] 0 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

[-] -2 points by tedscrat (-96) 12 years ago

There has not been a single successful social movent of your description in history. Cuba, USSR, North Korea, China. All of these nations have experimented with social equality and have all slid or are sliding into oblivion. The only reason China has not faded into the sunset is because it had to introduce capitalistic policies into its political agenda.

[-] 2 points by Shule (2638) 12 years ago

How about Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the majority of Europe, Venezuela, Canada, etc.......

All good examples of socialized economies in which the average person has a higher standard of living (and greater freedoms) than most folks in the U.S.A.

Unless, you have Big Bucks in the U.S.A., your petty life is pretty much dirt. Funny thing is most people living in dirt in the U.S.A. are too stupid to know they are living in dirt.
