The duopoly Democrat/Republican political system in this country is a total mockery of democracy. How gulllible a person must be to STILL support this fallacy. It is unforgivable. How many lies and how much punishment will it take for these dolts to wake up?

It's no different than WWF professional wrestling. Each side role plays and parrots the prescribed act. Each is allowed by their masters(TPTB) to rant about wedge issues Ad nauseam, the 3 G's (God, Guns and Gays, etc). The population believes these fervent wedge battles demonstrate our leaders are passionate advocates of the people. The masters do not allow the political system they've paid for touch their wealth generators). Such as Wall st, Banksters, Fiat monetary system, Money's control of politics, Free trade, Globalization, Military industrial complex, etc. This was clearly demonstrated by the recent financial collapse, our corrupt puppet politicians are powerless to act against their masters.

Of course their corporate owned journalism/media bolsters this fake, corrupt political system by constantly driving false narratives and propaganda into the public's minds. These "journalists" are so inept at covering the news, they run court trials for weeks on end, ignoring ALL other news! A completely illegitimate press, that is a mouth piece for the establishment.

Additionally our law makers use a corrupt practice of gerrymanding political districts. This allows for lopsided voting blocks. This little trick assures a congress with a 9% approval rating can get re-elected! Another trick is writing legislation with "excuses" for voting for/against a law i.e."I couldn't vote for that bill that supports workers rights, because it also was against puppies, kittens and butterflies.

The trained talking heads on the corporate owned media are already rolling out their new establishment vetted puppets for our next "hope and change" president.

R's: Christie, Rubio, Jeb Bush D's: Hillary, Hillary, Hillary

Rest assured, these people and all others supported by the establishment are corrupt frauds.

Let's support an alternative, not either corrupt political establishment!

The two groups: corporations & the rich
Almost ALL politicians can be bought by these two groups
It is almost impossible to elect a non-corruptible politician
YOU can elect politicians who do want to end the corruption
HJR29 is a great place to start
bills like this ARE supported by millions of Americans & hundreds of elected politicians

The majority are divided into conservative and liberal perspectives so the majority will continue to vote within the duopoly (or else they would have ceased to long before now).

An alternative would be to focus on specific issues of trans-partisan appeal and holding all candidates legally accountable for supporting those issues.

The Libertopians will save us.

You can scream duopoly all day long. I don't give a hot damn who you vote for. (However, if you don't vote then the odds are that I'm not going to listen to a damn thing you say.) The problem is a serious disconnect from where people exert the most power. This occurs locally=not nationally. Yet, time and again, we see a denial of issues that take place on this front.

The sharing of information regarding this is paramount. Why? Because it allows others to look for something similar that is occurring in their own back yard. Very important when you begin to look at states that lack transparency.

Now, this is often intentional and is more about obscuring what is occurring. Why? Because if you can focus more on that which you cannot control then you can easily give up what control that you have.

Next, please have a look at this: http://occupywallst.org/forum/how-to-govern-a-modern-nation/

"We've established that each Department spans the entire nation. In addition to this structure, we acknowledge that each community and region has unique needs and characteristics. The Department has three levels: National, Regional and Local. Each level must strive to produce a certain amount of leaders. Regional leaders represent the Local level. National-level leaders represent the regional and local leaders. This is what is referred to by a Departmental Leadership."

.

I'd be interested to know if something similar crossed your mind.

If you're interested I can explain how to make it a reality with no opposition/resistance, the solution taking human ignorance/laziness factors into consideration, transforming those problems into strategic advantages.

May I introduce you to Departmental Governance? Please take your time to get to know it, starting with the following recent posts:

Some elements of the system

Also, what do you know about Richard Wolff and The Venus Project?

You know? You almost had me there.

and then you said this.

" Each is allowed by their masters(TPTB) to rant about wedge issues Ad nauseam, the 3 G's (God, Guns and Gays, etc). "

If your kid is being taught BS about evolution or the geological origins of the planet?

It's no wedge issue. It's reality.

Guns....... a wedge issue???

Bullshit. People actually die.

It's only the "right" (and you?) pretending it's a wedge issue.

LBGT is another REAL issue, once again often resulting in DEATH!!.

Indeed at this point I'm going to call "duopoly" a wedge issue, at least around here.

Especially by your use of the term "used by their masters", which assumes that only YOUR authority knows anything at all about anything.

In fact? Around here the term is often used a convo ender, that refuses to accept facts that disprove it.

Is it your desire to play the roll of master and tell us what to believe?

PS.....You left the REAL power base untouched.

WallStreet.

The untouchable, perfect, and now unassailable, WallStreet.

After all, it's just R/D that controls everything in the whole wide World.

Principal politics not party politics.

Our principles are violated, those of our social contract. Forget all parties, only, and robustly focus on the principals highest possible effect, and vote for those that address conforming to them best.
