Here is the article, this is no conspiracy theory, it is really happening. Why did we need a national emergency system? Did not each state have their own which was adequate? So at any time now they can shut down communications like China or Saudi Arabia? WTF!

Reality check: It's called a nationwide emergency test! We have had them for years area and statewide. It's about time we get a nationwide emergency alert! Yeah!

what does a national emergency broadcast have to do with ceasing television and radio communication? This is a means to shut off communication nationwide under the pretext of an "emergency"..just more concentrated federal power..inch by inch we are losing to attrition...

Guess you don't live where the government routinely do just that? Do you know about those times when the television programing is interrupted and it says something like, "We interrupt normal programing for a test of our emergency broadcast network."?

That is what is going to happen nationwide. It means if a disaster happens that impacts this country everyone watching can be warned at once and help and advice can be given. Like it does when there is a bad storm warning that comes across the bottom of your screen.

State emergency broadcast systems along with the media have done a fine job thus far. This is just another instance where we give up a little itsy bitsy amount of freedom for "protection"...
