I'm glad this individual recognized his morality but all drone pilots should know that they are illegal combatants. Any time they step out of the U.S., they could be arrested and tried. They are not protected by the Uniform Code of Military Justice http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Uniform+Code+of+Military+Justice .
They might think 'oh, that would never happen.' The Nazi torturers, murderers and camp commandants didn't think it would either.
