“In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. – Edgar J Hoover - First Director of the FBI for 34 years

The real rulers of Washington are Invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes.

The real menace of our Republic is the invisible Government which like a giant Octopus, sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states, and nation.

[-] 5 points by relthinkr (64) 12 years ago

i am really worried that something horrific will go down this year cuz they passed NDA at the very end of the year.. like they were rushing something or something sick... iran, another false flag, economic collapse ... or all of the above

we need to get OWS focused on the truth and fast instead of having these paid commie ows shills making everyone focus on toshiba mail fraud....

[-] -3 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

i am really worried that something horrific will go down this year cuz they passed NDA at the very end of the year.

Stop - understand the process.

They did the same thing in 2010.

On The National Defense Authorization Act

[-] 2 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

Not with wording to imprison Americans with out trial and legalizing bestiality. Why would anyone even trust YOU anyway though you want to kill a section of the population of the US. Also I am sure a guy like you would lie to cover for something like this..

[-] -1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

and legalizing bestiality

. . .

wtf?

I never said or suggested that you could not, or should not, go fuck yourself

Why would I? Why should I even care?

I do not.

The plain fact is that the President has opposed the provisions in NDAA - the Congress passed previous defense authorization in the same manner, within the same window of time, and they did so for a purpose -

by passing these bills very close to the funding deadline it constrains the President - he has to sign them to maintain funding whether he likes them or not -

the alternative is to defy Congress, demand they return to work and rewrite the bill, which they are certain to resent, this work may drag out as politicians use this issue of no funding for political gain -

It's a process, one that is calculated, has been used before, and in 2010 was used to defy the President on the issue of closing Gitmo.

IF the closing of Gitmo is something you favor - I would suggest understanding very clearly who writes these bills, when they are passed and for what purpose they are passed so close to deadline, and other matters related to defense spending bills, attachments to bills in Congress, what happens when significant portions of government do not receive funding authorization and how political candidates can use such events for their own ends.

You could start here

Or you could just ignore the matter all together. In either case, I do not see this as the time for abject hysteria.

[-] 2 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

Idiot he signed it and could have pulled a bush with a "line by line" veto. So wipe your lips Obama is done with you. Also the fact is you were rejoicing this saying you "we" can get replicants with it.. or what ever dumb shit you said.

[-] 2 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago
  • the line item veto

    • declared the law unconstitutional on February 12, 1998. This ruling was subsequently affirmed on June 25, 1998 by a 6-3 decision of the Supreme Court of the United States in the case Clinton v. City of New York. Justices Breyer, Scalia, and O'Connor dissented.

is not an authority the President currently has. Your deficit in understanding how the government works becomes problematic when it comes to demanding change.

[-] 1 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

What you don't have something in your clip and paste files?

[-] 1 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

Oh yes Obama just always follows the constitution like when he signed the unconstitutional NDAA 2012. Like when he had war in Libya with out authorization of congress. So i see i was off a bit but really if he had cared he would have vetoed. Fact remains Obama has already killed US citizens without trial so why would he care about that language?

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

When it comes to Obama fans and the NDAA they always seem to say "but if he didn't sign it... the troops..." Well no. If he didn't sign it, they would just be forced to take it out and process quickly. Just like if he didn't sign the Bush tax cuts they could have drafted something else. But they like to play THIS game instead. Obama seems to choose war over diplomacy and is in perfect line with the Bush war legacy on many levels. We need real democrats like Kucinich and Warren instead of war mongering, Halliburton profiting, lobbyist loving and Wall Street favoring frauds like Obama and Hillary.

[-] 2 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

It's very much like the Bush fools.

[-] -1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

cough Anwar al-awlaki

[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

Don't worry zen, the times are always a changin'.

[-] 0 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Obama signed it into law. He also thinks he can have US citizens killed at any time without trial as well. In so many ways Obama just sounds like a damned republican. Sign a bill declaring the world a battlefield. What constitution? It won't be abused on a massive scale, but it will be abused just like it has been. Obama's war crimes will go unpunished just as Bush's went unpunished. Because law and liberty only matter when they want it to.

[-] -1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

Article I section 8 of the U.S. Constitution gives Congress the authority to set policy regarding captures on land and water.

They attached provisions to defense spending bills - in 2010 they prohibited him from closing Gitmo, in 2011 they reaffirmed authority already granted by Congress to the President - and members of his admin have come out in opposition to the provisions in this bill so many find objectionable.

It's a spending bill - the date for passage was days away when Congress passed it. He didn't have a lot of options when it came to signing.

You can't hope to change the system if you can't understand how it works.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Who signed the bills into law? Was it maybe Obama? Yes. Yes it was. He's got no balls. Veto. Congress would be forced to change the bill. Then pass it.

Let me reiterate: Obama's war crimes will go unpunished just as Bush's went unpunished. Because law and liberty only matter when they want it to.

Next you'll say it wasn't his fault that he signed for the Bush tax cuts. Wait, you will because we've had this conversation in the past. VETO. Force congress to to pass an adjusted bill.

You can't just keep hoping for change when Obama is just continuing the Bush tax cuts and the Bush war legacy.

Obama has worked harder for the military industrial complex and harder for Wall Street than he ever has for the citizens on main street.

BANKS GOT BAILED OUT WE GOT SOLD OUT - that shit happened under Obama

[-] -1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

Congress and the banks were the ones that sold us out, not the President

If you took the time to understand how the system works then you would begin to understand how repelicans are using us to their own advantage

consider this a moment:

Does blaming the President increase? or decrease? the chances of a Romney win this fall?

And who does Romney represent? Who benefits?

[-] 3 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Next you'll try and come up with an excuse about Obama appointing a Monsanto Vice President to the FDA.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/blogpost/post/monsanto-petition-tells-obama-cease-fda-ties-to-monsanto/2012/01/30/gIQAA9dZcQ_blog.html

Next you'll try and justify why the Obama administration is selling weapons to the regime killing protesters in Behrain

http://www.salon.com/2012/01/30/obama_quietly_sells_arms_to_human_rights_abuser_bahrain/

You do know that Obama 100% supported the bailouts, right?

Obama is a fucking fraud who works harder for the 1% than he ever has for the working class in America.

The shittyness of the republicans doesn't change the fact that Obama is a fraud.

[-] 0 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

I know the repelicans have put in place a significant effort to smear the President - going back all the way to the previous election. It's their principle method of debate -

just look at Romney and Newt right now.

I will have to look into what you have linked above, to see what this is all about, if it is valid, spun, or otherwise engineered.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

It's valid. It's factual. Obama is a fraud and so are the repubs.

The repubs suck at smears. They come up with stupid shit like "Secret Alice In Wonderland Parties" even though that party was for the kids of the troops. That's how dumb they are. And their supporters are dumb enough to buy into the spoon fed program. Any second look shows proof that the repubs smear campaigns are lies.

But if you take a second, third, or 4th look into Obama's ties with Monsanto and the FDA and it's all there clear as crystal.

Obama drank fizzy lifting drinks, he bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized! So he gets nothing! He loses!! He will never have my vote again in 2012.

[-] 2 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

Come on now dog, you know who Obamas in bed with, don't act like he is the messiah. You know who pays him.wtf?

[-] 1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

I know all the candidates today get funding from large corps I also know the candidates can't compete without accepting that funding

I also know

  • the repelican party is DONE
[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

It's republican dude. Hopefully they will continue on from 2010, and not be a bunch of neocons like Boehner and his sissy ilk. Now get back to making some home brew with that great Vermont sap, you need a jug to set your thinking right.

[-] 1 points by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT 12 years ago

I don't drink.

I don't use drugs as a form of recreation either. How about that?

Repelican -

is a term of approbation,

a proof,

derogatory in nature,

intended to shame

and to ridicule

those who run for high office

upon a platform of lies before the whole world

and have not the decency to blush bright crimson.

they are reprehensible.

they are repulsive.

they are repellent.

they are repelicans . . . .

[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

[-] 1 points by FreedomReigns (72) 12 years ago

That's right. What's even crazier is how this stuff has been right in front of us, and we haven't seen it.

"If a nation values anything more than freedom, then it will lose it's freedom; and the irony of it is that if it is comfort and security that it values, it will lose that too. Unknown Americans must decide: Are we to be governed by Americans or by an International organization ? I, for one, owe no allegiance to the United Nations nor will I give it any. I obey only the U.S. Constitution. You had better think about this issue, for if the U.N. can violate the Sovereignty of Haiti, Iraq and other countries, it can violate ours...The United States may not be the top dog 15 years from now. U.N. security council resolutions, backed by say Chinese soldiers, could be aimed at us."-Charley Reese-Orlando Sentinel

[-] 1 points by GypsyKing (8708) 12 years ago

1917: J.P. Morgan bought US corporate media to be 1%’s lying sacks of spin?

Congressman Oscar Callaway lost his Congressional election for opposing US entry into WW 1. Before he left office, he demanded investigation into JP Morgan & Co for purchasing control over America’s leading 25 newspapers in order to propagandize US public opinion in favor of his corporate and banking interests, including profits from US participation in the war. Mr. Callaway alleged he had the evidence to prove Morgan associates were working as editors to select and edit articles, with the press receiving monthly payments for their allegiance to Morgan.

One of the leading papers, The New York Times, printed the story of Congressman Callaway’s call for investigation from Washington, D.C., but the editor chose a curious obfuscating headline:

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/01/1917-j-p-morgan-bought-us-corporate-media-to-be-1s-lying-sacks-of-spin.html

what sane humans call investigative journalism, common sense and connecting the dots, the 1% call "conspiracy theories"

[-] 1 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 12 years ago

so true . . . now this is a theory . . . but it makes more sense than the flimsy excuses which are commonly accepted.

Is the sinking of the Titanic at all connected to the formation of the Federal Reserve?

Captain of the Titanic, Edward Smith, navigated the waters of the Atlantic for 26 years and was regarded as the master of the icy waters where the tragedy occurred.

Three of the richest people in the world opposed the Federal Reserve in the United States because they knew the repercussions of a private institution dictating the monetary trends within the country. These people were Benjamin Guggenheim, Isa Strauss, and Jacob Astor; all of which were aboard the Titanic when it sank.

These powerful men who were not in favor of the Federal Reserve stood in the way of the competitive ventures of the Morgans, Rothschilds, and Rockefellers. It is also believed that the men would use their wealth and influence to oppose World War I.

The Titanic tragedy may have been planned from the beginning, from the insufficient number of lifeboats, to the distress flares being shot off the boat being the wrong color, suggesting a party rather than distress. The sacrifice of the innocent and the deaths of over a thousand individuals may have been planned, casualties of a war aimed at changing how the country and the world would operate. The whole world knows what happened on the night of April 14, 1912 and how the Titanic shipwreck became one of the events that changed the world.

In December of 1913, the Federal Reserve System came into being in the United States. Eight months later, the Jesuits had sufficient funding through the Federal Reserve Bank to begin World War I.

Unfortunately, J. Edgar Hoover was talking about a mythical communist conspiracy, backing up Sen. McCarthy.

His quote, "The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists," should be retired.

[-] 1 points by relthinkr (64) 12 years ago

no, the quote stays, and your damn lies GO

read the full quote, "communism and the means to advance it"

He was speaking about the hidden hand behind communism, which was the same hidden hand behind the FED, the rothchild agents of Kuhn Loeb and company.

Whoa, there! Slow up with the attack lingo.

I'd be happy if you were correct. I looked into this some time back, perhaps I missed something. I'd be shocked if J. Edgar would have been smart enough to have seen any hidden hand behind communism. I'll double check.

I can't say it's nice meeting you though, but perhaps you are not really an asshole.

I'm more interested in what has been done in plain sight, like the massive banking fraud, then worry about a supposed secret plan by some covert group of evil doers

I'm more of the mind that evil men not only do what they do in plain sight, but are also proud of that fact, and try to convert others to their ways, as they see evil as good and good as evil

[-] 0 points by PeaceNow (84) 12 years ago

Exactly!

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."

"Many references to this fictitious speech exist in assassination theorist material." - In regards to the JFK speech you claim to reference.

You don't have to make things up to expose the frauds. Look at the CIA's work with the Afghan Arabs and the Mujahideen in the 80's. Look at who was pals with Noriega and put him in power before taking him out. Look up Operation Northwoods. More recently look at the war with Iraq. Look into Bush's war legacy and look how Obama is continuing it. There is much REAL truth out there. But a lot of what I see here is FALSE or misinformed.

Always triple check your facts mate. JFK's "secret societies" speech is awesome.

[-] 1 points by arturo (3169) from Shanghai, Shanghai 12 years ago

This is quite true for some conspiracy theorists.

However, counter intelligence agents also must theorize about conspiracies, and their work is quite important to our country.

Conspiracy theorists exists on a spectrum between the extremes of quacks and counter intelligence agents. In fact, some people who might be considered conspiracy theorist today were at some point in their career real intelligence agents, such as Bob Chapman:

Osama's dead. So are his henchmen and the hijackers. So what's with all this war still going on? The war profiteers are loving it and so are quite a few 'Mericans.

Anyone else notice that Obama has been continuing the Bush war legacy? What's that about? And now a lot of the anti-war democrats think the wars are okay now because democrat.

I have a bet with a friend that if Obama gets another term, he will either bomb or invade Iran. What do you think? I think another Libya situation is very possible with Iran or any other country really. Syria maybe? They've been killing protesters. Isn't that why we took out Gaddafi? So shouldn't that essentially be our game plan to take out all dictators? Or was Libya just a private interest based on other reasons? So much real conspiracy out and about. I don't understand why so many "conspiracy theorists" waste their time on the made up ones.
