Forum Post: Boise State another Example

The recent snub of Boise State by the BCS selection committee is just another example of how those in power in this country abuse their power for money. As everyone knows, Boise State was ranked # 7 in the BCS rankings...which is a complicated ranking system using many data elements. When it came time for selection, the BCS selection committee passed over Boise because they felt Va Tech would bring in more fans which equals more money. Here is a team that has been tossed out with the bath water because of money....not football. Why is there such a complicated ranking system if the selection committee does not abide by those rankings? This is just another example of how greed has overtaken doing the right thing in this country. It is shameful!
